Long overdue review. I stayed here last April 2022 to take an exam, and luckily I passed! The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the testing center, making it an ideal choice for me. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although the noise from outside and other rooms is sometimes audible. The food was fine, and I only had the breakfast buffet right after my exam. I had already fully paid for my hotel booking ahead of time, but upon check out I was asked to pay again. I informed the staff that I had already paid showing them my receipt and the issue was resolved quickly. Overall, I had a great stay. I especially loved its close proximity to fast food restaurants like Jollibee and McDonald's, as well as to a 7/11 that was open 24 hours a day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone taking an exam at the nearby testing center.

I have stayed there for a night only last October 22-23 -on cleanliness- The first room they have given me was with a lot of cockroaches. So I informed them and immediately they transferred me to another room. The room was fine until it was check out time. Normally, I would be checking my things. Under one chair I saw an SSS ID of somebody (might be the person who checked in before me). Definitely they did not clean the room well as evidenced by that ID that they have not seen. An hour after I checked out, I received a call from them and they were telling me I left an ID, I told them that it was not mine and might be from their previous customer. Gross! -food: I don't know if that was because of the pandemic but I got eggs for breakfast and for lunch too. I just did not bother making a complaint since I just want to check out immediately. Attached are pictures of the room and cockroaches.

The room was clean and the location is very convenient. The price is fair for the location and room quality. Most of the staff were friendly. Receptionists are not very welcoming. Housekeeping will enter your room to tidy up which is good but they won't ask for consent so put the do not disturb sign outside your door if you don't want any unwanted people entering the room. Be careful wearing any clothes or any items that have dye on them you might stain the bedsheet. The hotel will charge you P760.00 if there is a dye stain on the sheets or P210.00 for the pillow case. You will be allowed to bring the stained linens home since you'll be paying for them. Suggestion is bring all white pajamas or sleep in the nude. Their linen is very sensitive. Breakfast had very limited options. Staff was helpful in providing what you ask for like ice for the juice, calamansi for the pancit and they were happy to serve. We had booked two stays in this hotel since it's not very expensive. But since there's no cancelations we might use the 2nd stay.

I picked this because it was only 2 buildings away from the Pearson Vue testing center, as I had an exam the next day. Reception staff were very helpful and check in and check out was smooth. Wifi didn't work for me but I had my data so it was fine. Room was fine. Furniture is a bit old but serviceable. Some towels were a bit threadbare. I was happy there was a desk with a desk lamp. I was able to fit in some extra studying very comfortably. Tiles in the bathrooms could use some change. Coffee project is a very short walk away from the back entrance. I didn't eat at The Strand restaurant though but I did get my water bottle refilled for free there without any fuss.

5 stars for the hotel location and for the staff service. The room is also spacious. Sadly, the hallway stinks. The room is full of cockroaches and have unpleasant smell. The morning buffet is alright.

The Hotel is the ideal Hotel for aspiring filipino nurses who are planning to take their US NCLEX exam. It is just a 2-minute walking distance from the testing area (Pearson Vue -Salcedo building). Walking towards the testing area can actually help loosen your nerves and tone down your anxiety. I stayed here for 3 nights and just utilized the room for studying and relaxation. They also have a restaurant "Strand Cafe" that you can order thru room service. (Because of the pandemic the restaurant is closed but accepts order for room guests and room service only). The food was great and delectable. Pretty much ordered most, if not all, of their specials and And I recommend their "Sisig" and "Pork Carahay Binagoongan". Also, during my stay, I was given free daily breakfast and bottled water 350ml (2 bottles) every day. (I think the breakfast is inclusive with the room rate) The location is very close to fast food restaurants such as Jollibee and Mcdonalds. Or you can just ordered online thru food couriers sucj as Grab, Foodpanda.,etc. There are also coffee shops near the hotel. And if you're here for an annual medical check-up, the hotel is also a walking distance to Makati Medical Center. Plus points*** The staff are courteous and respectful. Also, i would like to commend Ms. Tina Soriano for taking actions with regard to my PRC license ID that i left in the hotel. They mailed it to my address here in Negros Oriental after i informed them about it. I transferred my payment thru gcash. They did an extra mile on that. And that is why I will be going back to this hotel in the near future.

Took a team of 18 to the hotel so this is feedback from myself but also based on the team's feedback. First up, the checking in and out was seamless and friendly. BUT the photos on the website are many years out of date. I'm guessing the photos are 20 years old. The hotel desperately needs a renovation. As noted by another reviewer, there were small cockroaches in the rooms. The breakfast is also well below par. Again, don't believe the photos with large slices of fruit. This is a small Asian breakfast spread with a few little pieces of fruit. After I complained the hotel was kind enough to arrange a 'continental breakfast' for us but it wasn't really a continental breakfast, as much as they tried. On the second day of 'continental breakfast' I asked them just to bring me some bacon instead of the whole meal. After a 30 minute wait I just left without the bacon. I will say that the bed was comfortable and my shower was good, which are always the 2 most important things. Other team members did say the shower in their rooms ran hot and cold. Perhaps I was just lucky? The night I arrived I visited the restaurant. Sorry, but terrible. All the food was overcooked. Simple items like spring rolls and burgers were well overcooked. Finally, the WiFi is terrible. I was travelling from Australia and did not buy a SIM card as the entire trip I was going to be in the hotel, in the office, or with a local, so there didn't seem to be much point. To make a WiFi phone call I had to be in 1 part of the room. If I moved it would drop out. I even tried calling the waiting area at reception and it was also very poor. In short, don't expect to be able to work using their WiFi.

This was my second time staying at One Pacific. The first time was 10 years ago. The facility hasn’t changed much. The staff is polite and professional. Rooms are simple but clean. The pool is cold but on a hot afternoon it’s not too bad. The restaurant was just as wonderful as I remember with great window seats to watch the world go by while you have a nice breakfast. This time around I was traveling with my 5 year old. We discovered the kids play area located above the fitness center. There were lots of toys and a playhouse. We had a great time. The location is great if you’re working in the city or want to be near the prime locations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is on an extended stay.

I stayed here during my most recent trip to Manila for the mandatory 10-day quarantine. Their staff from the front desk, to security , housekeeping and room service have been so accommodating and very helpful. Everyone was friendly and courteous. My room has a very nice view of Makati's financial district which helped some in easing the boredom of being stuck inside for 10 days. I am definitely recommending this place. We can't wait to come back and stay with them again.

They don't provide toothbrush and toothpaste. The soap they provided has no smell. Worst of all, there are a lot of small roaches!!! They're everywhere and my bf was bitten by one, it was bad. Their complementary water is from a dispenser in the hallway and they provide cups in the room which for sure is very accessible to our little roach friends. The housekeeping staff was very accommodating and kind, she did something about the roaches but it was not very effective. It's very near the PTE center, that's a plus because that's why we're here. But if not for that purpose, the stay here is really not worth it. You won't be able to relax.

The only thing going for this place is the location. Didn't take any pictures inside of the room because there's really nothing spectacular in this place. First and second pictures were the views from our windows. Then a picture of their pool located on the 6th floor. Parents booked a room that was only good for 4 people instead of 6. My husband and I got another room. We stayed here for about 8 days. The hallway carpets were dirty and smelled. Insects in our rooms. Not ever going to stay here. Breakfast was a joke, not your typical eggs, bacon deal. Just random food they had that was salty (with patis).

    - it's very cozy, and staff are nice and accommodating. - banks, atms and fast food are just walkable. -the only negative thing I have from this place is the payment method, as we booked online, but we need to pay from the hotel would be nice if we could pay it ahead of time. - breakfast not included which means you also need to pay separately, some hotels offer breakfast and room already. - but it's a nice place I'll surely be back again.

If you're looking for a quarantine hotel during the pandemic then this is probably probably what you need. Trust me. I've looked everywhere and this hotel is unbeatable at its price-point. All their rooms have fridges which you'll need for cold drinks and leftovers. Their 1BR room has a stove and a microwave so you can reheat and even cook food. I cannot overstate how valuable this is when you cannot go out to eat. Their staff from reservations to security to frond desk to room service are all accommodating and very responsive to all your needs. The rooms have thick walls so you wont hear your neighbors. With all the horror stories you hear from other quarantine experiences, this place made my stay almost feel like a staycation.

Flying in from Seattle, the staff was extremely accommodating in adjusting my reservation having booked one night too early. The room itself is fine by any standards. There's obvious wear and tear on the dining pieces. The small kitchenette in the studio would have been helpful if the hotel provided dish soap and sponge to wash the provided plates and utensils. We didn't get to utilize the pool unfortunately due too our schedule and weather as Typhoon Paeng rampages through the country. AC unit managed the room temp well. WiFi within the room or even the whole hotel could be updated for a more reliable and stronger connection needed for connectivity. Overall the neighborhood in general has a lot of restaurants and amenities within reach. Unfortunately we couldn't explore as much with the typhoon at hand. Maybe next time!

Every staff are polite, nice and SUPER Friendly. Facilities are quite accessible. The only feedback I can give would be the floor in our room was a bit dusty that you can easily feel on your feet. Not a deal breaker for us. But, it could be an issue for others. Everything else, was great! Easy 5⭐

The place is conveniently located since there are cafes, stores and restaurants nearby. The staff (front desk, security guard, housekeeper) was accomodating and helpful. The room was clean and it has everything that we need. Well almost, they didn't provide us any toothbrush or toothpaste, it's a good thing we brought our own. Exceptional service from the staff! Location is great, most of the malls and other frequented establishments are nearby. Kiddos enjoyed a dip in the pool. Only cons we could think of is that the food being served is a little bit pricey. We just went with Food Panda and had an assortment of yummy food at cheaper prices.

I will not recommend this place because of some reasons. Take note we stayed here just last night. Bad Things we encountered to be a point that I will not recommend this place. First, miscommunication between the frontdesk and the waitress in the restaurant.Because of that misunderstanding, we had a very bad morning. Imagine the waiter keep on coming back to our table to tell us that we didn't pay the breakfast but actually we did and the waitress at the end answered us sarcastically. Another thing, the food is too bland and the breakfast food is not something you wanted to eat for breakfast, and very limited choices. The executive lounge that we paid were useless, you will not enjoy it. I don't know why they have it in the first place. We were all excited because they said it will be free drinks and snacks, yes drinks coffee, tea and juice but snacks??I don't know, we only saw peanuts. And this lounge cost 500? Lastly, room amenities is not complete it just gave us a hassle stay.

I do not have regret in choosing this place. It is indeed your home away from home when in Makati. It gives a comfortable option for my very important transaction. POV, everything I need during my stay is here. Be able to experience their pool and was able to forget that I was in the 38th floor, this scary for me though.

My rating is mainly for the staff. They were so kind and friendly and stayed on top of my requests. Stayed here for my urgent travel to Manila back in January 2021. The room was decent but a little dusty. This is understandable due to limited workforce. Guest will have to clean the room as nobody from the hotel is allowed inside while you're checked in. So you will literally need to look after yourself. From changing sheets to disposing your trash. All things requested are placed outside your room for you to collect. This is expected as they're trying to minimize the spread of Covid-19. This hotel, at the time of my stay served as a quarantine facility for OFWs and returning Filipinos.

I was staying at One pacific place in 2018 and had a good stay. The room was a bit smaller than I thought but everything else was as described. The service was good, the hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Only the Lobby was always icy. We had booked an airport transfer but that did not work out very well. We had a bit of a delay and couldn't find the driver, so we waited for 30mins before our phones worked and we called the hotel and the driver found us.

The Wi-Fi was horrible. I chose this place because the reviews said the Wi-Fi was good but it was far from the truth. The phone also didn't work so when it was time to check out after quarantine and sending all the details to their email I had a really hard time contacting them. I tried their regular phone number but nobody was picking up.

Poorly maintained building it looks shabby and the management are awful and incompetent. The building is part hotel and part condos and they treat the condo owners like an inconvenience as the ownership of the building is under the same ownership as the hotel, the condo management company is always changing but the same people working there, it's a scam as the condo board is full of people from the building owners.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Metro Manila, for your Exams and Interviews. and you prefer a walk away from your appointment in Makati? Then I highly recommend One Pacific Place to you guys.😁 I personally had the chance to stay there for 2 days and a single night. for May exam and Medical. now for the convenience it's a 5 out of 5 for me. cause PearsonVue is just a way away from it. their is a McDo and Jollibee at the corner and a 711 also. it's clean and the staff. oh I can't say more about how accommodating they all are. from the security who are both polite and also helpful to non-Filipinos/foreigners. And the front desk staff are hands down the best.πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ I so happen to forget to print my papers forgetting that afternoon, prior to leaving the hotel I called the front desk for assistance. Here I am thinking, that because I'm leaving. they might not help me out with my predicament. but I was surprised that the front desk officer told me to proceed to the lobby and they'll gladly assist me.. it was a bit complex of a task, but they did comply with my request. this shows how they value their guest, regardless how long or short your stay with them is. "Dios Mabalos" werey parting words to those who helped me out.πŸ˜πŸ˜‡

We stayed here twice - the first time in a one bedroom suite and the second in a regular double room. On our first stay, we had some trouble with the hot water in the shower and found out a day later that the water heater was leaking. We informed the reception and they sent an in-house technician who replaced the heater and the issue was fixed. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom some times. On our second stay, the receptionist seemed irritated when we were checking in. She wasn't nice and we felt a bit annoyed. The room was more worn out than the room we had on our first stay. The bathroom door had a lot of damage, the towels are very old, the curtains look very dirty. The AC in both of the rooms we stayed in had a stuffy, almost moldy smell when we turned the temperature up to 26 degrees or more, so we had to keep the room very cold. We decided to book again here after our first stay because of the location, but that will be the last time. The photos are from our second stay.

Dear Management Team (OPP) I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the numerous issues we encountered during our recent two-night stay at your establishment. While we appreciate the competitive rates, the overall experience was subpar and left us with a negative impression. Firstly, a consistent and distressing issue we faced was the presence of cockroaches throughout our stay. These pests were spotted on the side table and even inside the entrance door. I even captured a video of a cockroach in the bathroom. I promptly brought this matter to the attention of the duty manager, but this persistent problem significantly detracted from our comfort and overall satisfaction. Furthermore, despite our prior request and the trauma of our initial parking experience, we were unable to secure guaranteed parking upon our return to the hotel. This forced us to rely on Grab car services to ensure a parking spot would be available when we returned. The inconvenience of waiting for parking, especially after a tiring Christmas party event, was highly frustrating and served to exacerbate our already negative experience. In addition to these issues, the restaurant's ventilation system appeared inadequate, as the lingering smell of food permeated our clothes. Despite showering, the odor persisted, necessitating an additional shower to mitigate the unpleasant aroma. This aspect further contributed to our dissatisfaction with our stay. Regrettably, If a complimentary accommodation is offered, I will have to respectfully decline. The combination of the traumatic parking experiences, the persistent presence of cockroaches, and the lingering smell from the restaurant have left an indelible negative impression. Even with the lure of free accommodation, I cannot overlook the significant impact these issues have had on our stay and our overall perception of your establishment. I hope that this feedback catalyzes for meaningful improvements to address these critical concerns. We genuinely wish for a positive guest experience and hope that our feedback will contribute to the enhancement of your services for future guests. Thank you for your attention to these matters, and we hope to see significant improvements in the future. Sincerely, From Room 3507 PS: I have a video of the small cockroach. Just let me know if you want to see I am trying to upload unfortunately not supported. I tried to capture some photos. To be honest, it is all over the room there are like on the side table, entrance door, and sink. It was a nightmare to me.

Location is nice like any other near the neighborhood. No one answers the phone they have in their contact list. No point contacting the hotel with the numbers they provide. Service isn’t even on par with cheaper hotels. Not a greeting from the front desk nor the man on the door. Very disappointed with their service.
