So far the best coffee shop I know in Mannheim. The service is always phenomenal, no matter how busy it is (and it usually is pretty busy in there). Not once have I gone there and felt unwelcome or had a bad service experience (I go there almost weekly). The Dirty Chai Latte is a 10/10. No other Chai Latte in Mannheim compares to it. The cappuccino and cold brew are very good as well. The grilled cheese sandwich, bagel and quiche are delicious and their cakes are very tasty too. Considering how aesthetic the interior is, how friendly the employees are and how delicious the beverages and food are I think their pricing is appropriate.

So, we were famished and we ran around Mannheim searching for a quick bite before we began our lovely Halloween weekend. I must be honest, I rather frequently go to restaurants/cafés based on ratings on Google. I didn’t have the time to do it today, so I was rather sceptical in the beginning. This place was basically one of those ‘hidden gems’. The place looked like a super comfy café with lovely lounge music where you could spend hours on your laptop. So I got a simple avocado toast and a cappuccino ( Beans: Helder Italiaans) . The CAPPUCCINO! - one sip and I was in love. It was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It tasted beautiful! (By the way, the coffee beans are sold in the café) The ever so creamy avocado on a slice of pumpkin seed toast - to top that off, yummy tomatoes and super fresh (white and crunchy) bean sprouts. It tasted healthy but yummy 😋 Also, the waiters were very friendly, efficient and clean ( a combination that one rarely sees!). I’ll definitely be returning to try some cake and obviously the fabulous coffee the next time around! Keep up the good job guys and thanks for the lovely start to my weekend 😃

Amazing and stylish café, nice staff that takes time to help with questions. I tried their hand brewed v60 and both their Espressi (House roast „Mannheim Schloss“ and Yirgacheffe)… I look forward to coming back!

I regularly buy their ground espresso at their shop in Q5 6-8 and became a regular at Cafe Brue when it opened in Q6Q7, so of course I was keen to check out their coffee shop. Great location near downtown, just off Kunststraße, bright, nice clean bar area and for me, perfect opening hours during the week (9 a.m.) Ample, spacious seating, space for buggies (so kid-friendly), but not wheelchair-friendly because there's one big step to get into the cafe itself. Friendly service. Only 4 stars because no breakfasty-type snack to enjoy with my cappuccino (I wouldn't mind just a croissant or something light). Their whole-wheat sandwiches are yummy and price is fair. I would come here for a midday snack. One big plus: Coffee to go! Their "Recup" concept - to-go, reusable cups with a deposit - is brilliant! Finally, someone in Mannheim is doing something about the coffee-to-go trash. It's one of the only reasons I ever went to Starbucks - they let you bring your own to-go tumbler and give you a discount. Came once on a Saturday. Yummy cakes (€3.20 each). All-in-all 4 1/2 stars.

You have to order at the counter which I am not the biggest fan of. They have a nice assortment of coffees and the coffee is really delicious. Also snacks and cake available in the afternoon. It is quite spacious so you can easily find a spot!

Food: good to very good salmon bagel - grilled cheese sandwich Drinks: good to okay hot coffee -cold latte Service : average to good Atmosphere: great This is my third visit, we always order the same, the cold latte needs more life into it & definitely bigger glass due to price. Bagel salmon tastes food bagel could be crispy, need a bit more sauce compared to the thickness of the bread, however the grilled cheese is a top Notch! The honey touch with the cheddar cheese is an amazing combo! Hot coffee was better than the latter also came with a nice artistic touch on top of it. The wait was friendly & kind. We wanted to further order but he disappeared at some point, we had to pay at the cashier because we couldn’t catch him at any time after. But we understand, it was a Saturday morning so the place is busy. I would recommend the place for a breakfast, brunch and an afternoon coffee & cake. No reservations required.

Great coffee place in Mannheim with a splendid selection of different coffee varieties. Unfortunately closed on Sundays as this would be an ideal brunch location - especially in their backyard.

The place was nice and cozy. Tables were a bit small and it's a bit pricy but it's worth it.

The coffee was brilliant and the avocado dish too. I would expect a little larger portions for the money.

I went to this cafe regularly before they redecorated it. Today it was my first time to order take-away coffee. When I paid the bills by card, I found that it was mandatory to give tips, 5% or 10% or 15%, couldn’t believe it. I’d love to give tips but it can’t be mandatory! Then they gave me such a little thing and cost me 4.1 Euro including tips. I’m not sure if it also includes the recup fee coz no one informed me about it. If someone did, I would never order it. Very terrible customer experience and will never go to this cafe any more.

😠 Paying customer kicked off the table in a rude manner. Racism? After finishing a very nice waffle (no complaints there) a waitress told us to leave the table and we can’t sit outside anymore - because they made a mistake in our order (to go instead of eat in). Some staff apologised for their mistake...

😠 This review is for the upper floor of the place, I don’t know if the lower floor is managed in the same way. We asked for a table for two and they gave us a table for six, then proceeded (in COVID times) to sit other 4 people besides us, with way less than 1.5m between each other. We ordered two dri...
