Its a market where consumables are sold. Fresh vegetables, assorted fish and meat. Sellers and buyers interaction is friendly. The market borders the river Benue where other commercial activities like local sand dredging and water transportation takes place thus linking the market to nearby riverine communities. Nice place to be.

Wadata main market is a place where different varieties of goods can be found ranging from foodstuffs to household wares. And foodstuffs in this market are very cheap and affordable. Fresh fish can also be found in large quantities here. The market is believed to have the best palm oil in Makurdi.

Some places in the market are also fast growing and some traders are seeing it fit to develop their little shops.

During raining season the market is mudy and looks missed up. The place is not neat and there is no parking space for cars But it a place you can get wide range of varieties of items or goods at a moderate price.

A well organized market setting, located in Makurdi, Benue State. The market extends it's tentacles until it touches the wide and elegant Beautiful view of the River Benue at South bank of the River Benue.

Do not come to the market with your car as there is no space to park within the market. You can find anything and everything at the market. Okrika clothes are cheap here. Wear your bargaining hat as you would have to haggle to get the prices you are comfortable with.

Local market where you can find food items, fresh vegetables, spices, meat, fish (smoker and fresh), new and used wears (children, men and women), groceries, bags, shoes, etc. Prices here are fair compared to other markets in Makurdi. Saturdays are main market days for used clothes and shoes.

A nice market for the locals, vegetables are always fresh, goods are extremely cheap. Although, quite busy on Saturdays, the have the best sellers, you can't go to the market and come back empty handed. Beware of thieves and pick Pocketers. Also a noisy area.

It's a daily or weekly market because on a daily basis you see few people coming to buy petipeti food stuffs, like onions, fresh tomatoes, pepper, dry fish, weekly basis which is on Saturday people come from every corner of the state to buy my orkirika clothes, shoes, dry fishi more quantity, every corner of the road to dis market is hard to fine the market is very rich with local dishes and fresh fish, because of it closeness to river benue

It's a relatively wide market where you have majorly food items, fresh and smoked fish due partly due to its proximity to river Benue. Textile material here are majorly OK clothes. You also get plastic materials like water drums, bucket etc here. The main Wadata road passes through this market.

It's very popular for its second hand clothing and fresh fish buy most consumables and perishable goods can be purchased from it at a very affordable price because there is a lot of competition.
