I would give this hairdresser a negative rating of one out of five stars. My experience with them was terrible, to say the least. I had my hair dyed and was shocked when the hairdresser began backcombing my hair while applying the dye. When my hair was brushed out, huge clumps were ripped out causing me a lot of discomfort. The washing experience was torture, and I could feel my scalp burning. I was glad when it was over. Though the dye job turned out great, I can't help but think that the technique they used was outdated and not the best. When it came to my hair extensions, the hairdresser did not listen to me about blending colors, and after pleading with them, I felt like I was being bullied into getting a full head of extensions. I spent six hours in this place, and the result was shabby. The beads used to attach the hair were noticeable, and overall it was not a pleasant experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and before they claim that I'm cheap, let me just say that I paid more than I needed to. The money spent did not equate to a good experience. The hairdresser needs to improve their techniques, listen to their customers, and not bully them into getting services they don't require.

I visited this hair salon in Turkey with high expectations, but I left thoroughly disappointed. The place is overrated and lacks any sense of structure. I explicitly mentioned that I was in a hurry because I was traveling with a little baby and was promised a maximum service time of 2 hours (1.5 to 2 hours). However, my experience turned into a nightmare as they took a whopping 5 HOURS to complete a simple color, wash, and blow-dry for my hair. This level of inefficiency and disregard for customer time is inexcusable. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a more reliable salon. To make matters worse, during my visit to this hair salon, they shuffled me between hairdressers not once, not twice, but a total of 5 times! Each time they assured me it would only take "1 minute" when I inquired about the delay. However, "1 minute" somehow translated into 10, 15, or even 30 minutes of additional waiting time each time. This constant shuffling and empty promises made my experience truly frustrating and exhausting. It's clear that their management and time management skills are severely lacking.

Came from US for rhinoplasty and made an appointment couple months in advance. Got there early and they dyed my hair and did a blowout. After waiting an hour while my hairdresser was busy I ended up replacing 3 rows of virgin hair Extentions I already had in. He didn’t use all the hair from the packs (my hairdresser at home just adds the extra onto one of the wefts in the middle) they used way too much heat in my hair, blow drying it over and over so I feel like it’s damaged now. He also put the top weft too low on my head so there’s a lot of hair on top so the hair doesn’t blend well. Also the left side is positioned higher on my head than the right. I will update with the quality of the hair Extentions after a few washes. Overall I feel that the hair is not thick enough, my other Extentions were 18inch 50 gram packs and they feel thicker than these. They lose a lot of volume to get to the length of 26inch. Also 26 inch looks kinda ridiculous on me so I had him trim it to 22 and it still looks too thin and long. I still tipped over 20% on the service but I’m not really happy with it I will probably have my hairdresser fix the positioning of the install when I get back stateside. From the photos and reviews online I thought it would have turned out better. Still a solid hairdresser, they are very nice and try to give you what you want. Compared to US prices it’s pretty cheap!

today i got my hair bleached and got extensions done. very good price and the people that work here are very kind, friendly and knowledgable. 10/10 experience i would come here again and i highly recommend this place!! i wasn’t feeling good during my appointment but my hair colourist was very patient with me and was very kind to me and made sure i was okay. I was feeling very embarrassed but he reassured me and made me feel safe. i believe his name was Alp, if you come i recommend going with him. thank you to everyone!! you guys are AMAZING!!😊🤍 ps. before and after pictures attached so you can see the AMAZING work he does.

Der beste Friseur in der Umgebung, ich war im Januar 2022 dort und habe meine Haare gefärbt und mir dazu eine Haarverlängerung gemacht. Sie hielt 6 Monate und es sah immernoch gut und gepflegt aus. Seine Pflegeprodukte die übrigens sehr gut riechen, benutze ich bis heute noch. Auch im Naturhaar. Mitte Juli fliege ich nochmal nach Istanbul und ich werde definitiv vorbei kommen. 👍🏽

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALP!!!! If you ever stop by you must go see ALP. He is so amazing and helpful. His attention to detail is unmatched and makes sure you are happy. I did my hair first time with someone else but had some problems but when I came back. He fixed my hair and had an amazing attitude.

I wish I could give zero stars.. I had an absolute traumatic experience there! I went before new years eve to make a balayage.. I have very thick and long hair after the guy bleached my hair for 3 hours and combing my wet (!) hair like crazy. I lost almost every hair and was in shock not only that but the color was also not what I imagined he left the lengths Dark!! I looked crazy.. so after that dilemma I talked to the chef and he offered me 100gr tape ins for free (still had to pay 90€ for the color tho). But almost all of my hair is gone.

Had a haircut and blow wave today - the man did a fabulous job and I am so happy with it! Very professional and offered water/tea. Some mis coms around what services I wanted as they don’t speak much English, a photo and discussing price prior to starting would be helpful

I had my hair done there for the first time and I am very satisfied. Extensions are top quality. My hair has turned out beautifully. Employee Selim was very entertaining and provided excellent service.

A great experience. I have some problems with my hair, including circular hair loss. I received a lot of help and I feel comfortable in my skin again. The hairstyle covers all my areas. We received a very warm welcome and were well looked after. Selim'in kahvesi en iyisiydi :)

If i could give it 0 star it would be fair. I went for balayage and it was the worst nightmare first he made me look like an old lady with the color he gave me which doesn’t look like the picture and when i told him i wanted this but you gave me something else he said no it is not true and was arguing with me and blaming me instead of trying to correct it. My hair is now super damaged it is looking like a plastic and i went to another hair salon to fix it and it couldn't hold any color because the pigments of my hair are already gone. I had to pay too much to try to save what is left of it. I definitely don’t recommend doing balayage there.

Flew all the way from Toronto, Canada to visit Alper Damdelen and I’m so happy I did. I found a Tiktok a girl posted and I saw how luscious her hair looked and I figured why not visit while I’m in Istanbul. I already get keratin tips here but his quality…just wow! The hair is amazing, incredible service and technique. Although the wait periods and breaks are long even with appointment, the end result is so worth it! Can’t beat the price and quality, I love my hair so much and I can’t wait to go back!

Selim was a very good barber. Did such a great job at cutting my fathers hair and also provided a massage of the head and face. He also waxed his ears and nose and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend Selim

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. I live in California but searched for someone who could do my hair while I was vacationing in Istanbul. The staff were amazing, the location is convenient and overall I am very happy with the hair extensions Note: the first time ibwqshed the hair it dried pretty frizzy, I later realized that this was due to the high humidity that day. I haven't run into the same problem since.

I had my hair extensions done by Alper and he really took his time to explain all the different techniques, which was very nice. I have invisible hair tape extensions and I love them! I would definitely recommend doing your hair here. There are many salons in Istanbul, but Alper is the best!

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the quality of my hair extensions! The hair is totally matty and strawy! My own hair is fine and straight and the extensions are very wavy! The only answer to my complaint was: It can happen that the quality is not good! We do not refund anything! Mega cheeky and unfriendly! On site I also noticed a customer complaining about her botched hair color, and here too it wasn't addressed at all! Unfortunately, the removal of my old extensions was also done absolutely poorly! I was really in pain! Here they simply said it was because of my old extensions! That's total nonsense because I'm a hairdresser myself and have been wearing extensions for years! I had to remove my hair immediately after my stay in Turkey and therefore paid twice! I would stay away from this salon!

I’m simply over the moon. Had my hair extensions and hair colouring and the results are superb👍👍👍👍👍. The staff is so hospitable and top notch professionals. If you are looking for good quality products and services at an affordable price, you should definitely go to this hair salon. Although I came with an idea, Alper told me to do something better and low maintenance. I followed your opinion, it was great. I've had highlights, extensions, hair botox, cut. Almost everything that can be done in a hairdresser. I have no complaints. The staff is excellent. Price is the best in Istanbul city.

The hair they use is from the village and sheds easily. Was there from 10am until 8pm, having different people work on me. Also even amounts of hair were not placed on both sides. Highly overrated, look and you will find better for same price

--update-- i still think the customer service was especially especially bad. But the hair was installed well and lasted for a long time. --- I will add more detail later but I really did not enjoy my experience getting hair extensions. The owner of the salon did my hair and he showed up 40 min late. He did not have the hair prepped so I sat there for another 30 min after we picked the hair for him to prep it- cutting the keratin beads at the top. While he put in the hair extensions, he needed me to help hand the hair pieces to him the entire 6+ hrs it took. This meant I couldn't watch anything on my phone, I couldn't text anyone or eat. My mom literally came by and fed me food because I was starving. He got mad when I started to doze off or wasn't ready with the hair for him. He had a bad attitude and frequently got frustrated and even yelled at me because of the language barrier- I only speak English. The entire customer service part of the experience was really really bad. The worst I've ever experienced anywhere. He yelled at me when I said I needed to use the restroom because "I didn't go, i just stood there" but no one had told me where the bathroom was. In the end, I wasn't happy with the haircut and he didn't care and tried to rush me to get it styled. I kept trying to get him to fix it and he didn't listen and ended up cutting hair where I didn't want him too. It was such a shame after so many hours of putting it in, to not take the time to make the haircut look nice. The person who shampooed my hair was really kind and I appreciated that. The hair itself is ok quality. I got dark brown hair and there's some random blonde and red strands. There were also a lot of split ends. They tried to convince me to get 200g of hair- i ended up going with 150 (which they looked very upset about)- and I wish I had gone with 100g.

I first heard about alper from my friend, who had her hair done by him while on vacation. After my hair was extremely damaged by German hairdressers because my hair is very difficult to bleach, it was clear to me that I finally needed a master to save my hair. I felt like I had 100 different shades of blonde. I flew to Istanbul from Germany specifically to have my hair done by him. And what should I say? He more than exceeded my expectations! The whole program lasted 2 days: Day 1 for 10 hours and Day 2 for another 2 hours. My hair felt like it was taken apart one by one and dyed with different colors so that it finally had a uniform blonde tone! Now they have a uniform tone and I have never had such a beautiful, cool blonde! Alper is a perfectionist!! And I absolutely can't understand the negative reviews, really not!! He colored the extensions 3-4 times because he wanted to get 100% the same tone as my hair so that the transition was perfect and I can tell you, that's an absolute masterpiece! I will be flying to Istanbul regularly from now on to have my hair done by him and his work is definitely worth the effort! Came here couple weeks ago after seeing the amazing work on tiktok and instagram. I was one of the first people on that day and glad I came at opening because it did get very busy. I had a full head toner, hair mask and then 200g of weave hair extensions. My boyfriend also had a hair cut, facial, mask and beard trim and spent a good 2 hours on him alone, which he loved as he was really pampered. The service was amazing! The men who did our hair (forgot names sorry) were so talented and advised us so well on what was the best. The hair extensions are great quality (little frizzy at ends) but they are a great colour match and so thick. I was even given a bag of hair care products to take home and use and they are also amazing quality products! Here in uk for the service we got it would have cost a fortune for what I had done ,it was such a great price and experience! If I come back to Istanbul I will be returning here again. Thank you so much for the great service
