Looks good from the street, modern inside. Have balcony for setting outside. But this place is restaurant with main foods as sushi. This is only name sushi, it’s should prepared much more better. Size small, cheap staff inside, you never come back this place again, especially if you pay no small money for this sushi. Price high, officiant told us to remove own bottle with water, but she saw that we came with small kids and hot outside. It’s first impression when we start talk with personal of Sushi lab. No friendly. If you like ordinary, expensive Sushi-welcome. If you know how sushi should be prepared go other place.

The restaurant is surprisingly large with plenty of sitting areas. The taste of the sushi was average. They don't give you ginger or Wasabi unless you keep asking for it. The noodles and main courses are small in portion size. The service was very slow.

Noodles and rice, oh so nice. Such simple dishes are actually the hardest to nail and sushi lab managed to nail them both. Next come the sushi, which was okay, for Istanbul, that is. Compliments aside, I think that the service could've been better. We waited for quite some time before getting served even though the restaurant was not very crowded.

The restaurant is okay from the inside. The guy that was serving our table was friendly. We ordered around 8 sets. They were not that tasty. The restroom was exceptionally oit of service due to some maintenance. There was a hair in one roll but it wasn't from the chef as they were respecting the kitchen hygiene (hair tied, beard shaved). Apparently it was something from the air and they replaced the set for us. They did not mention the service charge (10%) although it was added to the total sum.

Pretty good sushi at standard prices. Quality and taste meets the bar, and the location and decor is great. I wouldn’t say the sushi is exceptional but there’s nothing much to complain about.

We visited the place as a group of 20 people. The service pace was pretty good. Very attractive and swift reaction by the restaurant personnel for all our requests. Also, polite and cheerful service. I adored the decorations, and the interiors! The dish plates and bowls were classy and exotic, especially the oyster shell looking bowl which my udon was served in. Our group ordered many different dishes and everyone was happy with their choice. I ordered udon with shrimp and crispy salmon roll. Both were tasty. The quality of the food was slightly better than mediocre, not the best in town, but absolutely worth trying. General ingredients quality was at top level. I can say the pricing was very reasonable compared to other expensive sushi restaurants. Overall score 4.1/5 for a Sushi Restaurant

Food is great, prices are equally big but service is a bit slow. We ordered the sushi lab plate with 62 pieces for 5 people and some sides. Food came and was great but it took a long time for each course with the drinks only coming with the big plate. Overall great experience if you want great sushi. If you're looking for cheap and amazing Turkish food, go elsewhere.

If all you are craving is sushis and rolls you can go there without any doubt, they were all very tasty, fresh, and well assorted ! Shrimp tempuras were also delicious. Basically everything we ordered was fine except the gyoza which was probably one of the worst I ever had… the meat inside tasted like an average frozen meat ball (or kofte, which sadly makes sense in Turkey). The inside should have been juicy and tender, and the dough thin and soft, and we got the strict I opposite. There are more fancy places to have sushis in Istanbul but this place feels more cozy for the same quality rate, with slightly lower prices compared to these, all in a very central area of Istanbul.

One of the tastiest sushi places you can find in Istanbul. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is pretty cozy. Totally recommended.

Nice quite well place, maybe cuz we came at 10:30PM Sushi was very nice although we asked for the spicy set and whatever we seen on the menu isn’t what we received, but the Eylem tried to fix it for us and it worked well, sushi is yummy. As well we had the Salmon tataki and it was amazing. Mert brought for us the free chips as promised 😁. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.

The sushi was really good especially the salmon skin. The chicken pineapple was alright but the serving size was small. The rice was stiff. The beef noodle was alright but the beef was not tender and it didn't taste rich. I suggest you only try their sushi varieties. I also got a little bit of an upset stomach after i ate. There is a 10 percent service charge they don't mention but its added in the final bill

The place was OK...we ordered 8 different items off the menu and they brought the first item after 10min and then it took them another hour to bring everything else...every 15min they would bring us another item we ordered...it was ridiculous...In the end I found out that they hadn't even started cooking our last item after being there for over an hour so I told the waiter to cancel it...also, u ordered the General Tso Chicken which is a main course according to the menu....it came in a tiny bowl the size of the palm of my hand with 6 pieces of chicken in it...basically an appetizer advertised as a main course...not going back here

Very very fresh and tasty food, great and chill ambience, i absolutely loved it! Overall affordable and worth every penny. We were looking for a sushi place in Istanbul and are so happy we found this gem! If we come back, we’re definitely going again. Recommended 👍🏻

The place is really cool. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty sushi. We had a small problem with our edamame but it was rectified immediately. I will recommend Sushi Lab to anyone infested in quality sushi and a good eating experience.

The sushi wasn’t too bad and felt somewhat fresh but the one problem I did have about the restaurant was the waiting time. We had to wait over 1 hour for our food in a empty restaurant. We arrived when they opened at midday and we were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time. So I don’t know how they will be like once it best busy!

The food was good , but generally couldnt say wow to the sushi taste. The service was nice but i was surprised when I knew there is no green tea in japaneae style restaurant. They should add it to their drink menu

Enivorement, staff and the food was just perfect. Definetly recommend it.

We really enjoyed eating General Tso chicken, Rainbow Roll, and Udon. Staff were nice and atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice as well. I highly recommend to try any kind of stir fryed noodles.

Don’t believe the high reviews! They give away free edamame if you give them rating. Service was very slow, waiters not friendly and seemed they didn’t what to be here. Food was not terrible but we expected so much more from all the great reviews. It is a normal average sushi place with bad service and fast food quality sushi. Restaurants must receive authentic reviews so they can improve.

We were here today! All the food was amazing, the dynamite shrimp was a bomb! The waiter Ahmed is such a nice, welcoming waiter :) thank you so much for an amazing experience. We will come again <3
