We went to this restaurant because we liked the modern decor, very warm. The food was very tasty, they have a very varied menu. My friend is a vegetarian and was able to eat everyghing she likes. Ismail made us feel really welcomed. He was smiling and very pleasant. He made us feel at ease immediately. Sometimes in Istanbul the food is good but the service not so good, but in this restaurant we had the chance to have both. Thank you again and we will surely come back to see you soon.

I have visited Istanbul four times and The Ottoman's Kitchen was the best restaurant I have ever been to here. The most authentic Turkish food I've had in Istanbul. The first time I visited The Ottoman's Kitchen, I enjoyed their food and hospitality so much that I came here every night until my trip came to an end. They give you pita and mezze to start, and to end your meal they present you with delicious baklava and Turkish tea (cay) on the house. Everyone is so friendly and they go above and beyond to make your meal enjoyable!! I can't wait to come back soon.

Great place, very warm. The staff is super friendly. Ismail is a great host, very kind. The food was fresh and tasty. The tea and the dessert are offered. We will certainly come back during our stay in Sultanahmet.

I loved everything, the food is delicious, the service is amazing, their mood and atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff is nice and very friendly peoples, highly recommend it for those who is seeking traditional and turkish style foods and atmospheres. And recommend it visit them by night time cause the mood and the atmosphere is much more beautiful at that moment. The price is little high but it deserves. We ordered ottoman special dish with lamb, beef , chicken for two persons . Really loved it.. 🥰 and same as the other restaurants the cats are so friendly and nice .

Everything was perfect, the view the food , we took künefe and other Turkish delights they were delicious. What i appreciated most was the service, it was amazing especially from Salwa, there was also another guy (i don't know his name) that was very attentive about our order. The Manager seems to be always there making sure everything is in order. In short food, view, location and service all on point!

We dined here several times over a week (we stayed in the Airbnb upstairs), and every meal was exceptional! We tried breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, and all meals were mouthwatering and made you want more. Our vegetarian friends also really enjoyed their meals. We felt like real VIPs here. You can really feel the hospitality and charm from this family owned restaurant. The atmosphere and banter is also, without a doubt, going to put you in a great mood! They genuinely care about their customers and do everything in their power to give you the best experience possible! I highly recommend trying a meal here, they really are a step above the rest!

Let me start off by saying that I went here for dinner twice during my visit to Turkey. The food was really tasty! Reminds you of a very comforting home cooked meal. I had the Ali Nazik and the Mushroom Kebab. Both were cooked very well. Their shisha is also fantastic, try the Double Apple flavor.Give their complimentary apple tea a shot as well. But the star of the show has to be the owner, Ismail. The hospitality he shows is next to none. You can see that he takes pride in his restaurant and goes beyond to show how welcoming the family is. The restaurant team took time to chat with us and make recommendations, the meal we had was amazing - we had the Iskender kebab, Ali nazik and some different sides. Everything was great and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.

Unforgettable. I took the suggestion and had the lamb kebab. The presentation was like a mini show with the flames-when the top popped, it smelled so good. I'm not a lamb lover per se, but this dinner was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. Dinner, a mini show, and service with a genuine smile. These guys know their food, and boy, are they experts!! Thanks, friends!

Food was good and they do give "complimentary" tea and baklava, and some yogurt/salsa, however they did charge us 90 lira for water and also the 10% service fee which I know is common, but I didn't see anywhere on the menu. So if you're looking for the whole package then this is great, if you want a smaller or cheaper meal (with no extras) then you would pay for more than you want. Our 2 dishes and salsa came to 960 lira

Great food, service and ambience was nice and cosy as well! The traditional ottoman pottery kebab dish was really yummy - there was a huge fire display act and cutting of the pottery just before the dish was served, it was really cool! Pita bread w dips, turkish tea and desserts were kindly served on the house too, great service! :)

We had the Last ottoman, stuffed grape leaves, and shish kebab. They were all good. The staffs are wonderful and so welcoming. Their shisha is also great for shisha lover…

Good experience with the mixed starters, all of them were quite good. The service was excellent however the vibe of the place were quite touristic and far from the traditional vibes you might look for. Overall a good stop for a quick meal.

I have been there two times in the past few years and the hospitality is amazing, however I recommend staying at the Turkish food section on the menu. The Wiener schnitzel was a little bit disappointing.

In this wonderful place you can enjoy extraordinary Turkish food. Ibrahim offered us awesome dishes in which we enjoyed a lot. My best recommendation. For all questions just ask this nice guy he will explain everything and reply all questions with smile on his face!

We had amazing food at the restaurant, and the service is great!!! During our visit to Istanbul we went there twice. The second time we had the hot pottery dish, which was delicious and exciting to look at while making it. Amazing staff! Also the owner went above and beyond to make our stay in Istanbul memorable.

Excellent restaurant. Food is great, service amazing, short waiting time and excellent value for money. Service is friendly, welcoming and beyond accommodating. Many times the owner asked us if we enjoyed our meal and if not were willing to exchange and bring out another one at no cost. Best cooking and service ever in Turkey. Turkish restaurants owners offering Turkish cuisine in touristic area are very brave. They have to deal with a Lot of competitors, rise of price and customers reviews… They try to do their best and in this restaurant the owner Ismail who keep smiling and do his best to make happy customers sincerely deserve a great bravo!

We ordered chicken dishes and were pleasantly surprised with the exquisite cooking and spicy flavourful taste. The salad is fresh and crispy. The staff is friendly, speaks English and Russian. Definite yes for me.

Great service. Prices are okay and you get tea and baklava free of charge. Welcoming and plesant host. Their Adana kebab is delicious. All in all this is a great place to have a dinner after the busy day at Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.

This was a cute restaurant in the Sultanamet area. The food came out fast and was tasty but not out of this world. I would recommend eating here but don’t feel like I need to come back again and again. Tea and baklava were included which was a nice bonus. If you are in the area try it out.

First, I was just passing by, but guys are so friendly and welcoming. No extra fees, just super good food: I took meat plus Hookah. And all this time they we serving tea for free what is super cool in chilling weather. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Delicious food and very nice staff. They offered us the bread with 2 dips as an entry and at the end the tea with baklava. It was a very pleasant lunch.

It’s the best place in Istanbul for authentic, tasty and high quality Turkish dishes. We enjoyed the restaurant a lot. From the hospitality to every single traditional dish and drinks it was perfect. Everything is clean and welcoming with fair prices. We enjoyed it so much, that we went back for a second dinner. I can highly recommend the tas kabab, the Musakka, the Adana and chicken kabab and the iskender kebab. It’s amazing.

The place is so nice. The staff are very friendly. I ordered a pottery kebab it was delicious. I like the way they serve this kebab. Don’t forget to have dessert and tea from them! Recommended this restaurant!!
