Such a lovely place and such lovely food! Their menu is split between Moroccan and Italian food, I tried the Moroccan chicken tagine and it was good!! Place was so lovely and the staff were just as lovely! The owner (Italian guy) himself is there and is very hands on which shows how and why the place is thriving! He was super accommodating and even tho I didn’t have a booking he managed to squeeze me in! The chocolate fondant was my highlight, it was so delicious!! Would recommend but please make a booking so you get a nice table!!

Fantastic place! This lemon based restaurant hit all the right notes. From the small details as serving some mozzarella and tomatoes as start to delicious home made fresh food that keeps you coming for more. Well done!

Such a nice gem. You could not guess there is such a nice place from outside. You enter from a small wooden door to discover this amazing patio with lemon trees. The food is good , both Italian and Moroccan depending of your mood. Price is decent for the food quality and the experience. The service was very good also, the staff is professional and friendly.

Came here for an evening meal as it was close to our Riad. We made a reservation as we were told it gets very busy. We were hoping to sit downstairs with all the lemon trees, but it was full so we sat upstairs on the terrace. A great concept with 2 different menus. We tried various items from the menu and the food was filling. The service was good, the atmosphere is beautiful. We did get our food before drinks but the waiter bought them straight away once we told him. Would recommend coming here to try the food.

I really liked this place! Possibly because I've had so much tagine on this holiday, but the pizza here was great. They brought us up to a little terrace which was fairly cool on a hot evening. I ordered the quattro stagioni which had a sour dough base and my friend ordered pasta. There were gluten free options for everything other than the burger buns! It came to 275dk including drinks, which worked out to under £11 each. So good value too

Amazing place and amazing atmosphere. Came here twice in 3 days and would come again if our trip allowed for it. The Moroccan dishes (off the moroccan menu - they have both) were the best we had all trip! The staff is also very attentive and helpful. Always smiling definitely makes the place feel welcome. 100% worth the trip here if that is something you might wanna do. Will come back one day!

Really delicious Italian fare in a very cute setting (with actual lemon trees in the dining area!). The signature lemon ravioli was delicious, and the camel burger was interesting. Attentive service and a very beautiful location. Highly recommend!

One of my favourite places in Marrakech in terms of quality food, prices and service. The menu is split into half Italian and half Moroccan, but believe me, everything here in this spot is made with love and care. I always try the Italian food, and I've never been disappointed.... everything was authentic. It's worth the experience.

This is the best restaurant in this area. Please book in advance as it is very busy. Friendly and polite staff. Good food relative to other restaurants around. Amazing place with actual live lemon and orange trees inside the restaurants. These trees even had Oranges and Lemons hanging on them.

Amazing experience. Step in off the road into a tropical paradise—an orange tree-covered patio surrounded by beautiful mosaic tiles and tasteful lighting. The food was great. I order from the Italian menu (spinach gnocchi with sage butter and dolceamaro salad) and my friends ordered from the Moroccan menu. We all enjoyed our meals. My friends said that their Moroccan meals (tangines and couscous) were the best Moroccan dishes they’d had in Marrakech.

Friendly, relaxed, nice food, really lovely inner courtyard with lemon trees. Just slightly off beaten track through small door. I ate late afternoon and a very nice calm experience. Worth the effort to find.

Just finished a lovely early dinner here as we have travel plans tomorrow after being recommended. It was a lovely meal - the food was outstanding and the vibe was lovely and quiet. However, I felt judged by the main waiter and I'm not sure why. And then when we asked for a sprite later on, you could see between three staff members they were all delegating between each other who would come over. It was 5 metres away. We had for starters: - eggplant parmigiana - Pastilla Mains: - ravioli - calzone Desserts: - 2 lemon sorbets. I recommend all of these foods but the size of ravioli is massively different to the size of the calzone, please be aware of this. The Pastilla was the best one I've had in all of Morocco. The toilets were literally a work of art - which is usually a dirty afterthought in most places. While we left a 10% tip it is not demanded at this place and you're not pressured to do so. I'd come back again but maybe when it's a busier and I'd dress differently, maybe I'd be treated slightly differently.

Fantastic food, there is plenty to choose from. Serving Italian or Moroccan cuisine why not have both! Good value for money we spent £30 on 2 x mains & 2 deserts and sparkling water. Book in advance as it gets really busy. I would recommend the lamb tagine.

Visited this restaurant with recommendations from friends. The place is known for its beautiful ambience under the lemon tree. If you are looking for a good seating place please book a table in advance or you might not get what you want. Tiramisu was good but the Cappuccino was not so great for me, too strong for my liking. We did not order much and we just wanted to soak in the ambience. Visit the place in the right season as the lemons were green in colour and not the yellow we were looking for.

This is a beautiful restaurant in one of those narrow streets. The pasta and the desserts were fantastic. The taste was authentic. They have beautiful lemon trees inside! Would definitely recommend it if you are craving Italian.

It looks very touristic, just for foreigners but definitely the best food I have ever had in Marrakech. All the plates were to die for 🤤🤤🤤 can't wait to visit again next time. Honestly, 100% recommended. We had the Moroccan menu, you can find italian food all around the world. The chicken à l'orange was delicious and the pastilla (for dessert) amazing. Lovely atmosphere too.

What a way to break for some Italian faire! I suggest you climb to the top and savor the view and your pizza and pasta! Or dine In this Riads courtyard underneath towering lemon trees and lulling scent from its blossoms! Excellent service and flavorful Italian delights, panna cotta 👍🏽👍🏽

This place was a real treat. The courtyard has big lemon trees and the place is so beautiful with such a great vibe. The food was great as well. The prices are not crazy as some of the other restaurants which have similar vibe and is very casual.

Italian magic in the middle of Marrakech Limoni brings the magic of Italian cuisine to the heart of Marrakech. The way this place pops up out of nowhere, on a super narrow street, behind an old door that almost says nothing, reminded me of the quaint restaurants in Rome that appear unexpectedly at every turn. The garden is more than lovely, and everything here seems to have been chosen with the utmost attention to detail. The food is very tasty (I had one of the best pizzas outside Italy—surprising, I know), and the service was impeccable. I made a reservation through the chat on Google Maps (they responded very quickly). I found the prices fair for what we received. It's the perfect spot if you want to take a break from traditional Moroccan fare or enjoy a glass of wine in a garden surrounded by lemon trees.

Great restaurant! We took cappuccino, orange juice for drink, and they were great. For food, we ordered camel hamburger and beef tagine, and it was delicious. Service is among the best we have experienced so far in Marrakech. Ambient is very nice and peaceful. I highly recommend going here for lunch.

Limoni has the best value/price performance among the restaurants I’ve been to. We were welcomed kindly to pick the desk we would like to. The manager/chef/owner was welcoming and helping guests with a nice smile and gently. The pizzas are fantastic; the pizza bread goes beyond being a good pizza bread.👌 The ingredients create a nice combination. Caesar was really nice.👍👌 Lamb & Beef Tajin was also nice but proportion of meat and vegetables didn’t feel right. The quality of meat could have been better. A few suggestions; you need more marketing for your restaurant. Improve meat quality. Improve pizza varieties. ☺️👍

PLEASE Take a cab to got there, it was hard to drive around and its placed in a small street. We almost turn around because we couldnt find it. When we arrived the guy at the reception ask us if we reserve, we didnt but he still manage to find us a good spot. The food was ok, not the best, not the worst. We had a high expectation but it wasnt bad. Feel like we should of try the italian cuisine vs moroccan. The owner is Italian and when we saw the italian dishes, they did look delicious. Service was great, great team and kind people.

My favourite restaurant in Marrakech. Tasty! Always clean! The portions are big as you can see on the photos. People who are working are very helpful. The menu is great because you can choose not only Italian but also Moroccan traditional cuisine. Better to book before you come but always will try to find you a place even without reservation.

What an amazing experience. The host and all the Staff are so friendly. The atmosphere is great, it a nice New York in the 60s vibe. The food is amazing, well served dishes and very reasonable prizes. It’s definitely worth going more than once.

What a lovely and friendly place ! Italian/Maroccan menu in a fantastic setting with a series of roof terraces! Impeccable service and delicious food . The zaalouk is totally yummy and the dromedario 🐪 burgers as well ! Not to be missed

One of the few places where you get what you paid for! We had dinner here, the atmosphere is great especially just before sunset, and make sure to visit during the orange flowering season and you will be blessed with the orange scents. We had the camel burger and the pastilla, they were amazing with rich and balanced flavours. Highly recommended :)

I have eaten here twice now. The first time we had the Beef and the Chicken tagines, (served with a side of Couscous) and we also ordered a Caesar Salad (to share). I really loved the Beef tagine with Prunes and Almonds. The Beef was melt-in-your-mouth and so delicious. The Chicken was also really tasty but a bit dry. On our second visit we had Pizza and they were fantastic! The indoor/outdoor setting, with mature lemon trees, is lovely and the service is superb! I can absolutely recommend you visit

Was there for dinner and the food was amazing. I love how they cook their couscous with butter. The owner was also very friendly. I love their tajine with apricot so much. The place is very chic yet is so cozy with all the lemon trees

Wow! This place has a very cool open air courtyard dining option on the first level and has 2 more levels above where you can enjoy the nice weather and restaurant. The food is probably the best Italian in Marrakech and is very delicious. I enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara with some delicious Italian espresso. Would like to come back and try some more dishes in the future. The only downside is the parking is a little far away but not a big deal if you are mobile and enjoy Italian cuisine and excellent service.

A wonderful Italian hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Marrakesh! Very attentive waiters and a lovely atmosphere. Food was great and they give you a free appetiser to start! I would highly recommend.

second time back at this place. Again lucky with a walk-in. They were pleasant and courteous both times finding us a table. Good food all around(they have moroccan and italian food) but on the expensive side(not extremely) .All in all good dining experience in the citrus trees covered courtyard. The seafood pasta are excellent, so is the crushed eggplant entree. I had the camel burger today, not too bad but there needs to be more than 7 fries on the plate😅

Limoni is a beautiful and welcoming restaurant; a former Riad that has lemon trees growing in the court yard. The food was good but the staff so very inviting!

Saved our culinary experience in Marrakesh in September 2022 (yes, you heard it right, Italian restaurant in Marocco was our favorite). If you get bored with dry couscous and over cooked vegetables, try this place for a change! On our last night we got pizza to go and very friendly owner served us well and all the food was tasty. It looked like all the customers enjoyed themselves in the very cosy restaurant.

We visited Limoni last night as we were able to book online (only a few hours before) and they still managed to fit us in on short notice. The setting was so lovely. Really clean, open ceiling / sky and the restaurant was filled with lemon trees. I had ricotta which they made fresh using their own lemons and it was really delicious. Lovely service, and we were able to order a glass of red wine too. Definitely recommend. It’s a little hidden in terms of location, but easy to find and quieter. A hidden gem!

By far the best pizza in Marrakesh also they serve olive oil tomatoes with bread, the personnel speaks fluent English no problem with communication. To mention that this place is one of the most clean places in Morocco I’ve been visited.

The menu is split into half Italian and half moroccon- great for a big group. We had a gorgeous meal - the lamb tagine was great and it was nice to have the Italian options too. We had limoncello to finish. The restaurant was filled with trees covered in lemons. The setting was beautiful

Pizza was quite good! I'm used to wood fired Neapolitan pizza, and whilst not quite the same this one was well made. Parmigiana was great, very filling for a starter. Ravioli limoni tasted a little bit like a lemon chesecake.

Another Instagram trap. Food isn’t good. Go to a local place instead.

  • 5/5 Lucy 1 year ago on Google
This is a truly stunning restaurant with friendly and super fast service and exquisite food. Limoni has both an Italian and Moroccan menu. Being tourists, we plumped for food on the Moroccan menu. Each dish was magnificent in terms of flavour and presentation. The dining area, which is covered by lemon trees, is a peaceful oasis in the bustling city.
