Really love that you can order at the table. Food and drinks came out really quick. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Ordered the fish tacos. Highly recommend and the jug of Mojito.

Came here for a weekend lunch and ordered the schnitzel and the braised xo beef (the latter was a special at the time). Given more of a pub / bar, we weren't expecting too much of the food there but both were delicious! Generous serving sizes and cooked very well. I know not the main part of the dish but the chips were cooked and seasoned very well! The schnitzel is definitely a large dish so come hungry if you are planning to order this! Service was great - could not fault our food or our visit! Will be back!

The vibe at this venue is what made my experience here a goodie. Food and drink were expensive but you are on Darling Harbour... staff were good and service was quick despite the place being almost a capacity. Decor was fresh and vibrant and overall, I would definitely go back! Recommend some extra GF items on the menu!

Vibes were superb 👌 Enjoyed time spent at this place. Great atmosphere with drink, musicand dance at harbour, Sydney. It's a good place as we can walk to a nearby area as and when required. It will be good too for group.

Booked a week in advance for 7 and got seated at a table for 4 originally. After bringing up the issue, Tanya and Courtney helped relocate my party to a new table despite being a very busy venue and the table sat everyone comfortable and was also under a heater which is a huge plus in winter!!! Been here once before for a birthday during the day and definitely would book again anytime after this positive experience!

I was there for a work party and had an absolute blast! The drinks were delicious, the music was good. I would have like more variety in the food but that was probably more of my boss's decision and it was all still delicious regardless. It was such a good atmosphere with plenty of room to relax and talk as well as to dance and drink. The staff was super friendly too! The door man even took my picture for me!!

Booked in with a large group for a birthday and the service was amazing particularly from a woman named Claire. She was super helpful and made it an extra experience. Great spot and atmosphere. Food was good and large portions.

Nice everyday restaurant on the walkway over looking Darling Harbour near Barangbaroo. Food was ok and able to use the NSW dining voucher whereby Bangalow 8 doubled the voucher value to $50👏👏✅ Wine was also good and reasonable for the tourist area. Service was a little slow but acceptable. Recommended ✅look

Bungalow 8 has plenty of outdoor tables and is a nice spot for lunch when the weather is good. Food is average and menu is quite limited. It can get extremely busy in the evenings with the after-work crowd.

What a fantastic place to spend a Sunday afternoon! It really does have a super relaxed 'Bali Beach Bar' vibe. Delicious Cocktails (some available in jugs) and their Rump Steak and Chicken Parma were both really good. We will definitely be back. 😊

Its hard to rate this place as I went on a sunday for my friend's birthday celebration. The place is quiet and has no atmosphere, with few diners scattered on separate tables. The male toilet's sink even has the sign 'out of order' yet the tap worked when i washed my hands. My fish and chips taste average. When we request if they can play a birthday song, they advised, 'Sorry, no'. No biggie so we sang it instead. I would like to see this place on a Friday or Saturday when it's busy as it has a nice layout.

Classic place to go on the weekend for some lunch and drinks! Great vibe, casual but nice. The food was quite nice for most of our group, however the Mexican salad was overdressed and inedible. I let them know and they gave me a new one with a better amount of dressing. So that was great of them.

I’ve been here a few times since moving from America and it’s always an amazing vibe with great music for dancing! Also a great spot to choose if you’re looking for a spot after a boat party on the harbor.

We were a group from work who visited this place for team lunch. Service was quick and good, food menu was easily accessible by QR code and food came to table in few mins. Lively atmosphere, staff is very quick in servicing orders. Food was good, potion was decent. Overall good experience.

For the real laid back summer feel! Beautifully semi secluded from the busy wharf, green as can be, different seating areas (even couches), good fries, decent portions and quite quickly served.

The location is excellent and there are a lot of seating options in the restaurant. The food portions are huge and the drinks were delicious. It just took a long time to get food to the table and each person received their food as different times.

We went to Bungalow 8 for a bday celebration and Aimee was the best hostess and waitress you could ask for, 10/10 service. The place has such a vibe: good music, good food, everything was amazing. Thanks Aimee for taking care of us. Will definitely be coming back!

Cold beer, great passing parade, beautiful location and really enjoyed my meal. Pub food but generous portions and a touch of class in putting it together. Recommended if you want a classic Sydney afternoon.

Ate: Sweet potato chips, club sandwich, pistachio and labneh dip. Giant venue, very good for hosting a large group, though we had to split into tables of 10. Really giant portions - could easily share between two average diners especially during the $20 lunch deal, or save the leftovers for another meal. Flavours of the club sandwich were mostly mayo and lacked a little bit of punch but ingredients were fresh and bread toasty. Chips were fried well - crisp on outside and fluffy inside - and nicely seasoned. Sweet potato chips portion wise could be a meal in itself and were well fried, definitely recommended too. I enjoyed the labneh dip a little less, though the pita was warm and delicious, and felt it was overpriced for the amount of pita we got.

The Bungalow and the Loft are great weekend bars, especially for big groups. Spacy and friendly stuff and easy-listening music / or feel-good music after office hours. Drinks range from $13 - $19 while a plate of fries is an affordable $9. Fast service. I recommend calamari, fries and potato chips to help with the beverages. Across the water on King Street so it's a big plus if you have to catch a ferry from king street wharf. Have fun!

Visited for lunch on the day following the lifting of Wuham Flu lockdown. Everything was good and professional - however, what was most notable was the various staff that checked by to see if everything was going OK - waitress, section manager, shift manager.

Bungalow 8 has the best vibes and dance floor! The bathrooms and tables were clean and the bartenders were friendly and had fast service. Most notably Clare was amazing in helping me to find my wallet, she notified all of the bar staff to be on the lookout for a wallet and took down my number so that when it was found she could contact me! She found my wallet and I could not be more grateful!

Great atmosphere and food. Love the sitting arrangements. Very close to wharf and CBD offices. Good for group hangouts. Crowded during evening hours so make sure you reserve your table early enough to get a spot.

The overall experience was normal. There is a 15$ fee for the entrance after 8 (nit sure of the cut off time). The music is great. The crowd would be 20 to 30 years of age with few people older. I was dissappointed because after 8 they do not serve cocktails. Perfect in cold weather as they have a very smart heating system for the outdoors. I am nit sure if I would return

Went there for mum’s birthday. Friendly staff. Ordered through website. Authentic flavour, good variety of choices. Recommended for families and friends.

Decent bar grab but it won't blow your socks off. Spicy fried chicken burger (7/10): Chicken could have been a tad juicier but was cooked nicely. The jalapenoes and slaw added a welcome freshness and zest although the chipotle mayo didn't take it to that next level. A tiny bit bland but still a solid burger. Tea smoked salmon (6/10): The lemon vinaigrette and yoghurt dressing was tangy, delicious and cut the sweet potato well but the praise ends there. The salad was warm but the eggs cold which was a bit jarring. Far too much kale compared to the other ingredients made it unexciting. Our friends ordered the cauliflower steak (the accompanying edamame mash was named the day's MVP) and soba noodle salad which were both given an 8/10 so there were a few winners on the day. Vibe is cool with a large, modern, open outdoor area by the wharf - great place to dine outside on a sunny day. It's also a great spot to knock off early and stay late for after work Friday drinks - it'll be busy and buzzing but try to drag your boss along to sponsor the $15 pints.

It’s your basic afterwork drinks bar. They don’t do a ton of upkeep and the service is average at best but it’s a great location, Friday afternoons in the sun here are perfection. Also it’s got plenty of tables and space to chill and drinks are reasonably priced. Food is also pretty decent, they have a few great dishes.

The events team are fantastic getting my team in last minute for a function last Friday. I've been a customer for years though and have always been happy with the service, the venue and the food are always amazing (the mussels are my favourite). Thank you!

Pretty nice place for a beer near the water. Perfect if you're waiting for a cruise tour. Fairly standard beers on offer, no real surprises. Plenty of seating. Only a few staff were working on Thursday night, so service was a bit slow. Maybe they didn't get the memo about it getting busy in the city again after COVID. It definitely is.

Went there for a drink before VIVID cruise. $63.00 for two beers( in plastic glasses) and two margaritas.. The margaritas were served up in a small " drinking glass". Terrible... Although being from Newcastle, We don't see prices like this. Beers were flat by half way down. Nope.... Not for me. R.Blanch. Newcastle

Bungalow 8 has been around for ages, but it remains a nice, casual alfresco bistro/pub. Now that everyone can be ordered by clicking on a QR code, we have found it quicker to go up to the bar to grab a drink!
