A generously portioned meal and a delightful service. Diego, thank you for the suggestions on the order for food to come out, as well as what wine could pair with the dishes which we have ordered. Your attention to detail made our stay very memory, and the chef helping to prepare the birthday surprise with fresh servings of fruits was the icing on the cake, please pass on our thanks. Overall a truly delightful evening indeed.

This place is simply amazing, from staff service and friendliness through to the food and serving size. Every menu item we have tried has been great and so tasty. The prices are to be expected for the area and not over the top. The choice of drinks was good and the cocktails were also amazing. Will definitely be heading there again.

Booked weeks in advance then arrived at our booking time to find the restaurant was closed. They didn't tell us they would not be open, also their website allowed us to make a booking and confirmed the booking a few days before.

After seeing some of the previous reviews about the service been horrible but we decided to give it ago. We had a small group of people and found the service to be really friendly and were always looked after by the staff. It was a Friday night so they were fairly busy but found the attention to our table to be more than adequate. I personal had the calamari for the entree and then the spider ink spaghetti for a main. The servings were generous in size and really yummy. Would happily come back again.

We could not be happier with the service we had last night. Every single member of staff went above and beyond. We had a million requests and were probably painful customers but nothing was too much for them. Michelle our waitress was especially especially helpful. We bought a million decorations for our bridal shower table and she even assisted us in setting everything up. We are so beyond happy with the service and the food was exceptional!!! MORE than enough food for our group of 16, and it was absolutely delicious. We thank you so much!!!

Baia restaurant on a weekday lunch was almost empty. The food was good, decent. Ravioli was dry, probably waiting too long under the heater lamp before served, suggesting poor order management. Anyway, it was tasty.

Dropped in for lunch on a Friday. It was very quiet in Cockle Bay Wharf and all the restaurants were sparsely attended. So how to sun up Baia? The service was efficient but distant. Zero explanation of any specials - so assume there weren’t any? The food was OK. Seafood pizza was nice. Would have ordered coffee and dessert but none was offered. The off putting aspect was the table. It was really sticky which was off putting. I don’t think it was dirty but the varnish had become really tacky. Needs to be fixed. 3 stars a fair summary.

The gnocchi was delicious but the fries were simple. The banana colada was very good. The prices are a little expensive so if you can get a discount on The Fork, it is much better. Ps. I have only one complaint, we arrived and we wanted to have a dinner and the receptionist told us we had to wait one hour because we didn't have a booking, but then we asked again (someone else) and they let us in. That girl was not well-trained. Cheers from Peru.

Maybe it was 2011, 9 years ago. I visited here first time and I cannot forget this place that give me great experience. I was foreign student with few money, and my university was so far from Sydney. I walked much for traveling Sydney, so I felt really tired. When I arrived here at night, I was moved by the nightscape, though it was without Opera House. I could not order expensive dishes, but sensible clerk gave me coffee and desert as free service. (maybe he thought I was poor girl... ?) If I visit Australia later, I will visit here again with husband? and... not for study!!!

The sunset menu is such great value with 3 courses plus a drink for $35! You get the feel of a fancy restaurant with incredible food without having to break the bank. Set right on Darling Harbour as well makes it even better as you watch the sunset!

👀 We came here as part of a Cockle Bay Wharf food adventure. Baia has so many dining areas, on the promenade, terrace, harbour dining or the lounge. Italian cuisine changed every season, share plates, entrees, mains, salads, sides, pizza and dessert. 💥 Always a vibe here, the long tables on the esplanade is my pick! 💁🏼‍♀️ Service was really good and attentive, we were here for an event. 🍷 We got the opportunity to name a cocktail! I don’t think they liked our names though because I don’t see them on the menu. 🍴 We shared a mix of canapés including goats cheese, onion, pecan tart, crostinis and empanadas. ✨ Thank you for the invite!

We were gifted a Scoopon voucher for Baia and must say, the venue is always spectacular. You can have a glimpse of the sun setting by the water. Quite romantic I’d say! We saw a great “sunset menu” deal at $35 per person - it included a starter, main and dessert. However we couldn’t use that with the Scoopon. Instead we ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese & a pizza to share.

This restaurant is great... especially for those looking for gluten-free Italian food. The staff is really nice and helpful....I can really recommend it because the prices are reasonable too.

Pizza alright yet not quite Italian, seating policy is intransparent—many free tables but we only got offered one with loud music from a night club on one side and waiters tossing cutlery into a metal tray from the other. Impossible to hold a conversation and not a nice atmosphere at all. It seems the management just wants to maximise tables and didn’t really think about the actual experience. Unless overlooking the harbour, beware of the outside seating area.

Nice spot for food and drink along cockle bay. We had the $35 sunset menu which was actually really good for the price. A good place to come with visitors from out of town.

I loved the atmosphere here, dined here visited last night. Ordered the brucietta as entre Seafood pizza and beef ragu as mains The staff was very lovely and service at table was outstanding. Dinner in general was very tasty and heart warming. Seated outside so the only downside to eating here over the weekend is the music from next door was overpowering so it made it hard to have a chat at the dinner table otherwise the menu and food is good I would definitely come back and thank you to the staff for being so lovely.

Food was good.. Had a Gamberi Pizza and it was done well. Drinks were expensive and unimpressive for the price. Could have done without the cockroaches running over our feet. I know it's by the water, but it's still not nice.

The service was great, the staff were very kind. The calamari was very tender and the sauce was fantastic, complimented the squid very well, and the prawns were great. We got the duck breast and lamb for mains, and while the duck was fantastic, the lamb was really the star of the show. Truly one of the best lamb dishes I’ve had. I’m really grateful for the staff and will definitely be back. I highly recommend Baia

Walked here after visiting Sealife and was not disappointed. We ordered fish and chips which we thought was overpriced until we received it. The portion was hefty, the fish was well battered and the chips were perfectly thick!! Even more delicious when paired with the lemon lime bitters ☺️. The Caesar salad was also very tasty. However we almost got attacked by seagulls every couple of minutes. Overall I definitely recommend going here especially as it offers a scenic view of the wharf and Pyrmont bridge. 🐟🍟

Food was great, customer service was lacking. Very hard to find parking if you're not from Sydney, and don't take public transport. We arrived with a stroller and baby, and asked for a baby high chair, we had to ask 3 times..staff weren't very attentive. And it wasn't even a busy period (5pm). So we won't be returning

Food was okay, a bit small for the price. We ordered ravioli, pizza and, sweet potato chips. The sweet potato chips were so soggy, it wasn't tasty. After 8pm the restaurant next door started blasting music really loud. I had a young toddler with me. The staff at the front should have told me about this as a courtesy when I entered the restaurant at 730pm before seating my family near that side.

This is a very nice restaurant with great ambience. It has a very classic look with very comfortable seating. We had the blue swimmer linguine and the prawn, crab ravioli. The seafood was very tasty and the sauces were full of flavour. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Nice Atmosphere, good customer service but not satisfied with the food quality. Ordered Beef Cheek Ragù, Bufala and Pollo Ripieno. There was strong smell of beef from Ragu. Couldn’t even finish half of it. Ripieno was bad as well. 😕

I was very impressed with Baia! I had a cancelled flight so no plans and arrived and was seated in a beautiful spot by the fire. The service was the best that I’ve had in a very long time! (Shout out to Kirill) He actually knew the menu and everything he suggested was amazing! Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great wine! I will definitely be back! I had the Crab, lobster and prawn ravioli which was perfectly balanced and the best vegan Ice cream dessert I’ve had. 5 stars for me! (This wine was perfect with my meal)

This one is worth every penny. The food is just excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and good fun. The view from this restaurant is just beautiful. Everything is just worth every penny. The chocolate mudcake is to die for! Will definitely come back here when we revisit sydney. Kudos to the incredible waiters Jack and Andrei! Our family had a memorable and enjoyable dinner here in sydney. Cheers! PS: i got the rib eye steak in medium rare see photo😊

Great service and nice food with a good view over the water. We had a fork discount (50% off). I felt the food was only worth what we paid. I wouldn't return to pay full price. I guess if they keep the fork discount up it could work in their favour as a price discrimination tactic? Potentially charging overseas tourists (unaware of the fork and willing to pay for the location) full price and locals half price.

The place, food and atmosphere is ok in overall to share with a group of friends or your family. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. However, you have to check carefully when you receive your bill due to they try to avoid on applying the discounts or promotional vouchers if you have any. Just check very well before you pay.

Not a place for family dinners Pretty long wait of 1.5 hour + before we had our mains on the table. The server kept saying the food will be out any minute which wasn’t helpful. It would have been excusable had I not had 2 young kids and 2 senior citizens with me. Also it was hard to flag down the staff from our table. As a gesture of apology they did give us a free waffle for our son. But we wont be going back.

I had a reservation on 24/7/2020 for 4 people(me and my wife and two friends). To make it there on time, got an hour off from work and also, paid for a parking ticket in CBD. When we arrived there, we couldn’t believe our eyes since the place was closed. The frustrating thing was that nobody called us to let us know that the restaurant was closed and no notice was up in their website. It was devastating?
