I've never seen such a well run business, I was in just before the morning rush for breakfast. The staff and friendly but they are also a well run machine as whether its busy or slow they are attentive quick and accurate in what they do. To make it even better though the food is creative, good portioned, and delicious. I live nearby and I always feel welcomed and comfortable going there.

Miss Carter is a boutique cafe on Castlereagh Street. They offer high quality coffees and a good range of food, including health desserts such as Gourmet sandwiches, Chia Pudding, Fruit Salad and Muesli with yogurt. The coffee is very aromatic, especially on a cold morning.

Breakfast was amazing, coffee was a little bitter for my liking, but still good. What struck me most was the familiarity with so many customers. I witnessed so many (obv regular) customers who were not only known by name, but the staff spoke with them like old friends. It was heartwarming to see a business invested in their clientele beyond a financial transaction.

Coffee and food are to die for. Customer service is commendable. I highly recommend this place - it's really a must try.

Husband and I are from NYC and we had breakfast here every day, bacon and egg on a Brioche roll (chefs kiss). Juices are freshly squeezed😋 Delicious! Definitely my go to spot next time we’re in Sydney❤️

We follow good indications from Google and we discover Miss Carter. During our stay in Sydney (4 days) we had breakfast every single day here with high satisfaction. Good food. Nice cappuccino. This cafe is very consistent and the Manager is always exchanging pleasantries with customers. Obviously the coffee blend is carefully sourced as my occasional visits are always memorable. Other restaurants should take a leaf from Miss Carter's operational policy for customer care.

Browsing through the net and happened to stumble the web page of Miss Carter Cafe in the CBD, I decide to write a review of my experience in this Cafe as I highly recommend it. Each time me and my wife come to CBD we always make the time to stop at the Miss Carter cafe. The friendly service, great coffee and food, will always keep us coming back!

First thing that i noted was the service. Even before I had arrived, I got a nice greeting from what I would assume are the owners. Coffee wise, I like my coffee strong, so I always order double shots - I personally found the coffee a little weak for my liking. Food-wise, pretty tasty. My bacon and egg was delicious, but perhaps needed a little more sauce and relish. The omelette that my friend had apparently was amazing. But service is where this cafe exceeds far and beyond. Everything seems like clockwork. Being shown to your table, the menus, the water, the order being taken, the bill - is just lovely to see such well trained staff. Will come back for the service and food and maybe try a stronger blend, because was not impressed by the strength of coffee.

I have been calling in for coffee etc for the past 4 weeks. The staff are extremely friendly, even when busy, and remembered my coffee order after a couple of days. Will definitely call in again when visiting the city.

Just wanted to say the Smashed Avo on sourdough here is beyond amazing. Perfect level of toasted, thick amount of avo, and pristine seasoning. I get it here often and highly recommend.

The coffee is amazing! The first time I went there I was desperate for a job. Although I wasnt the best barista in town, the owner gave me a chance and treated me so kindly. I can say from the bottom of my heart, its owners like this that make a business thrive. I got coffee and had a chat with the owner 1.5 year later today. He mentioned why he named the coffee shop “Miss Carter”. He was always hustling with his employees and you could tell that the employees are also happy when they are working there. You can taste the love they are pouring into the coffee with the enthusiasm they are putting into their job. I want to thank him once again and hope to make this a tradition and grab a coffee once a week when Im close to Miss Carter as long as I still live in Sydney.

Very nice and cozy cafe tucked away in the city center. The food is fantastic as are the prices, especially when you consider its location in the city! We had the fritters, bacon and egg sandwich, a savoury muffin, and a banana bread and they were all amazing. The banana bread is not to sweet which is great for me! The manager (or owner) was very warm and friendly. Highly recommend a visit as it was one of the best Western food I had in Sydney.

Loved that this place was actually open at 6am for that early and quiet morning of good coffee. The Portuguese tart was also very good, with the pastry being crispy and not soggy. I prefer my coffees from a place like this with character and personality.

Customer service was great - we were greeted and seated immediately even though it was busy. Coffee was strong and fresh. The reason I'm leaving a review is to let others know about the mushrooms - they were tasty but not at all browned. They were pretty cold and squishy. Also the extra 'vine tomato' I ordered with it for $4 was just a cooked half tomato (also pretty cold).

Their smashed avo toast is the best thing ever. Highly recommended- my go to place in the city.

I wonderful cafe I stumbled upon this afternoon in Sydney. I had a beautiful latte with perfect mircofoam and a rich shot. I also had an adorable lemon meringue tart. So cute! Very friendly staff with fast service. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful breakfast, the owner has real old school customer service, great to sit and listen to him treat his regulars (by name) and new customers so well. You have to experience this place early in your visit to Sydney so you can surely return. Oh, a bargain too!
