I don’t want to blame staffs - it’s management issue if it’s staff shortage. Fries are not fully fried, they did not use salt distributor they meant to use but they pour salt from their own bottle. Floors are not clean, pretty sticky. It’s all because staff shortage, they just don’t have enough time to do things they need to serve. A serious management fail.

I went during a busy lunchtime, and I received food quite quickly. Friendly service & efficient 👍. McChicken & fries were nice & fresh too! And I just love the seating upstairs 😙

Unfortunately the restaurant was filthy, tables weren't clean , bins overflowing, service was very slow, items missing from our order, I ask the coffee girl for a cloth so I could wipe the table where we wanted to sit and it became a huge drama. The restaurant was not busy so that wasn't a reason for the uncleanliness. The overall experience of our visit wasn't very good.

The badest branch I went to the toilet first and I was shocked it was unclean a lot of tissues on the floor. No place to set upstairs was closed.

This busy city McDonalds needs the company bosses to come here and see what’s happening here. Staff are like McZombies and the food servings are average. The absolute worst thing going on here is the constant SHOUTING OUT or order numbers that need to be collected. This SHOUTOUT totally destroys the inside atmosphere of this McDonalds. There has to be a system that doesn't require constant SHOUTING from the staff. Anyone waiting for a meal should be up close to the order counter. I know it wasn’t like this in the past because I have been here many times over the years. Compared to other McDonalds I frequent this one needs a good clean out and new ideas to make it great again. Let hope The McDonalds company can repair the many wrongs going on here.

Awful and dirty place with sticky seats. Polite and good personal. I got the salad musty balsamic dressing for salad and the chicken in the wrap was very old. But personal was polite and good. I saw just two persons for big cafe.

I can't review the place for it's cleanliness in weekends only because it's the revellers that trash the place...kudos to the staff for keeping a straight face and helping out the customers..... Food is cooked nice and hot, however the store is constantly filthy, floors tables and chairs have never been clean when I’m here. Store is littered with rubbish everywhere. Half the upstairs seating closed off for no obvious reason at peak times when not enough seating.

Best maccas I've been to. You order like a normal maccas using the machine and pickup at the counter, so only three stars for that. The wonderful building it is in really lifts the atmosphere above other locations. Sit at the balcony upstairs for the best experience.

Came here at 4am. Place was an absolute pig sty. Service and food was ok, but had to eat our meal on the tables full of rubbish. Ice cream machine was also broken which was annoying.

Efficient store. From ordering to pickup i think was 2 minutes. Took longer to use the machines than the prepare time. This store has lots of seating upstairs so don't forget to look up. Clean, lots of staff doing things. If only the burgers didn't have those awful pickles.

No pictures, but an actually decent McDonalds. I tried here after frequenting Westfield and this is by far the superior McDonalds in this area. Great service, speedy and good communication. The seating space is much better than Westfield. The heritage atmosphere is so good that I spent 45 minutes chilling out before going back to my office. Well done!

First burger order done wrong, replacement order was raw inside. Took photos and threw out the burger as we had to rush to the Cinema. Went back after and spoke to the manager for refund. She checked the photos, the bank transaction and without big hassle refunded the items. Wish I could rate problem solving approach separately as the manager was nice and reasonable. However, overall it must be 2* at max :/

A more organised McDonalds with faster and more efficient service when compared to Circular Quay store. The main reason this store is better is that it's products are not made to order. Full range of McDonalds meals available. Friendly staff and a clean dining venue. A television is also wall mounted as a bonus! Good to have a McDonalds in the Wynyard Station as there is always a time when you just want a fast meal burger.

Better check your order before you leave especially if it’s take away. Ordered a hash brown with a meal which I realised wasn’t there after I reached back to work. No apology or empathy and was made to feel as if they are doing a favour on me by giving me a refund. Darling keep my $2.40 if that buys you some manners. The manager I guess isn’t on minimum wage and a bit more courtesy could be expected. But hey! It’s Maccas, they aren’t known for customer service. Rant over!

My friend ordered a 6 piece nuggets and fries. She had to wait for an eternity and the staff was so rude. The machine was not working correctly so nobody got a receipt. Therefore you had to remember your order and number in your head. As my friend did not take notice of the number (since you usually get the number on the receipt) the staff did not give her the food and was very very rude to her when she did not remember the number. They refused to give her service and even if she explained the order completely correct they wouldn’t listen or respect her at all. They kept saying there was no order like that even thought there was. When she was able to show her payment they took her seriously for once, but still very rude and unfriendlyi. So sad to se such mean staff at a well known restaurant. I do not recommend.

One of favourite McD branch. Store is big and has second floor. Staff are friendly and serving quiet fast as well. Many self checkout order provided. They have wheelchair lift which is support disable for dining in.

Mccafe was closed so no coffee on a sunday morning! Order incorrect and food very sloppy in its put together. I know it's Mecca's but a little thought doesn't hurt. I should also note there were only 4 others in store so being busy really isn't an excuse.

This Maccas felt like an organized mess. The place was bustling after 10 pm with loads of people ordering from the kiosks, but after ordering, it took forever to get our food ready. The toilets were dirty and not well attended. Even after ordering our meals, we were missing items from our order, which was a bit disappointing. The tables were dirty, making it not a great place to have a meal in the late evening.

Food was fine, coffee way too hot, I burnt the insides of my mouth severely! The ONLY restroom open was the disabled and the sink was leaking so bad! To wash your hands basically half the water ended on my feet and all over the floor, hazard for slipping and no wet floor signage.

It is a maccas. Significant stand out is their lack of mobile reception in the building towards the counter that renders your maccas app useless if you were walking in and about to click that you're inside, which is terribly frustrating that you have to go towards the entrance to finish clicking your buttons. A lot of that is due to the stupid idea from the app that you have to click to indicate you are inside, they should really just start your order if you were in close proximity.

It is like other Maccas, very busy due to which service is a little slow but understandable. Naturally it becomes very very busy during lunch time because it's in the middle of Town Hall, QVB, Martin Place. Food tests are similar to other Maccas. I don't dislike the taste. Overall nothing to complain about, neither to give more than 3 stars.

Ordered a McFlurry and got less than half of the cup filled, not worth $4. The worst part is that the member that served me was wearing a grey shirt which I'm guessing is one of the managers, shame on you Maccas never visiting this place again. Note: it wasn't busy during the time I visited.

I ordered approx 20 portions of takeaway food for my daughter's birthday party on the weekend. The staff there (a special shout out to James at the counter) were so accommodative and efficient that the whole order was ready within 8 minutes! We were all very impressed. Service & food was just like any other McDonald's however, it makes up for the incredible atmosphere that this McDonald's provides. There's 2 levels to this restaurant which immediately makes this much more distinct than other McDonald's. If you have the time, as well as the right circumstance to visit, then you definitely should.

The food was amazing obv. But the staff were going above and beyond here on Xmas eve, I hope they got rewarded for it. They were receiving more order than they could handle, and people waiting were being so rude to the staff saying things like “smile it’s Christmas” other were just taking drinks that weren’t theirs from the counter, not understanding that, this messes up their whole organisation. I just hope they got paid enough to compensate for that night of honestly straight up abuse.

Terrible service. I ordered a coffee which was bitter and undrinkable. Ordered and paid for another one - it was so hot I nearly burned my mouth. Waited ages for it to cool but just tasted burnt. Won't be bothering to throw any more money at potentially getting a better one next time. Staff are not friendly or polite - I feel I am serving them - don't understand English, are slow, busy having a laugh, minimal empathy, understanding or customer service skills.

Came in on Monday 19/12 at around 6pm. Usually don’t leave reviews but to the one manager working as hard as she could with what little resources she had, good freaking hustle! Solo manager with no blue shirts in sight and the food was still hot and service was fast! You could tell they were flat out but they’re doing their best, and that’s all anyone can ask for.

Great place to have a quick stop after shopping at George Street. Or having a cheap quick bite before going home. Short waiting time specially when you use the self-serve ordering system. It has a unique vintage exterior with a modern furniture. The upper area is a great view of how busy it is downstairs.

I came to this Maccas at 7:15pm on a Sunday on the 23rd of February and as I was standing waiting for my order patiently, calmly and normally. I WAS SHOCKED. The lady from the level above who works at this said Maccas, spilt a coke all over me. It would have been fine if she had said sorry but there was no remorse. To top it off they gave me a vanilla thick shake when I had specifically ordered a chocolate shake.
