Despite others poor reviews, I think SumoSalad is one of the best airport options not only in this airport but every airport. Healthy, fresh and won’t leave you feeling heavy on your flight. Not the best value, but it’s airport food which is always over priced. I went with the grain bowl and was super pleased

The two ham & egg wrapps were tasteless. The smoothie was just OK. Add a small yoghurt and you are $40 out of pocket. Never again. Shout out! - Tradies, boost your local work without advertising. © 2021 Paul Johnson missingpiecemarketing.com.au

Lunch as I left Sydney and found there was a lot of choices. Everything looked reasonably fresh but having flown in the day before and taken a peek, I’m not so sure. Had a nice focaccia with chicken. Portion size good. Lots of drinks available as well. Staff were happy to put food in my own container which I travel with rather than using a bag. Staff were helpful. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

Unfortunately you'll read these reviews (as we did) AFTER you've already ordered from here. Absolutely revolting salad! Chicken was full of hard chunks and was nothing but the gizzards! Salad itself was rotten and sloppy! Between this filth and Hungry Jacks what the hell do you pick when your starving and jetlagged?! Just stick to a coffee (from elsewhere) next time. The fruit salad was absolutely foul as well! At this point we asked for a refund on the fruit salad, but was rudely told by the manager that the fruit was freshly cut this morning before he stormed off. The missus stood her ground and got a partial refund. Fingers crossed we don't get severely ill.

I ate a very nice chia pudding from Sumo Salad for breakfast this morning. Great price and nice healthy alternatives!

I used to love Sumo Salad - got my favourite Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad - had to dig to the bottom of the bowl of pasta & no sign of any chicken - not even one small piece. So I complained & the server begrudgingly gave me 3 small pieces of chicken!

$16.30 for some old lettuce and uncooked plain broccoli. It was disgusting- there were several off lettuce leaves and the broccoli was hard and had no flavour at all. I couldn’t eat it. The girls serving were super unfriendly. I would never go back.

Ordered a brekkie wrap with just bacon, egg, spinach and tomato- had similar many many times before and like all the ingredients. Genuinely thought there was blue cheese in it because the taste was so off. The smell was what can only be described as rancid. The guy at the checkout did kindly replace with a cheese and ham toastie (which I actually didn’t finish as it was also really not enjoyable). But I got the feeling he thought the wrap just wasn’t to my liking when in fact the food was very much off as those ingredients shouldn’t taste so weird! I hope they investigate this as I’ve never had a bacon and egg wrap taste like that!

The worst sumo food i have ever had. I ate most of it because i was starving but on any other day …. Straight in the bin. Chicken schnitzel roll. Toasted to a level of no taste. Soggy schnitzel tomato fell out as soon as i took the roll out of the bag. Folks, don’t match speed of service with quality of food

Good selection of healthy salad options. Broccoli was bland but others were tasty.

Contrary to most of low rating reviews here, I had a 5 star experience. Friendly staff and fresh salad. I had a beet salad medium size, it was fresh and yumm. Only that medium size was too big for me.. it could feed 2 small Asian women like me lol. I should’ve had small portion. Also had the dessert in a cup with the chia seed (forgot the name), it was so good. Had banana bread and I ate it the morning after, it was still good. Overall it was the perfect meal before flight

I have ordered vegetarian salad from international terminal outlet. Later, I found meat skin where i notify to the Manager. Instead of apologising, she said it is chick pea skin. when I confront her its not, then she changed her statement by saying its not meat 100% but what it is she has no idea because they buy it from third party. She has also created a little drama by saying I am not a good human for taking her staff photos without her permission. She even said indirectly that I am doing this for refund. Unfortunately their website isn't working and there is no way I can contact management for this behaviour.

The worst experience ever. I had a combo of pumpkin beetroot , hokkien noodles and watermelon drink to shared with my husband. The salad and the drink were really plain , hardly taste anything in those. The horrible thing was the hokkien noodles was gone bad, and we were in a rush to eat I didn't carefully checked it. I put it in my mount and it was sour bad and it smell bad. I quickly split it out but was not fast enough to be safe from it and it made me feel sick in my tummy straight away. My husband took the food back to acknowledged them about the problem but the staff wasn't care about the fact that she just served us a bad food and could give us food poisoning. She asked my husband if we want something else but we couldn't trust to have any food from them so we said no , and the staff said nothing just took the food away. No apologies, no refund just straight ignored us.

Feel ill after eating some of the noodle salad. Hope I don't throw up on the plane.

Breakfast wrap was disgusting. Bacon was raw and whilst the outside was just toasted the inside was ice cold. Felt sick after eating here.

In spite of quite bad reviews I think it is not so awful place. If you stay here, it is possible to have a good time enjoing pretty tasty dishes. I liked this cafe because there weren't so many people and I felt cosy and comfortable. So if you are next to this place, don't be afraid to visit it.

Chicken, avocado, and spinach sandwich = $14. Is actually: offal and sad leaves. Seems to be no avocado at all. The toasted bread is OK. Service is OK.

DO NOT GO! This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Charged tea for the same price as a latte $5.90. Water is also an eye watering $5.20. Questioned the lady serving me and she says there’s no button on the til for tea. I asked for the receipt and she gave me the eftpos receipt and it took two asks to get the right tax invoice. Avoid!!!

$5.50 for a b-grade sparkling water, staff don't seem to want to interact :(

Yeah nah. Good salads but $5 for a bottle of water, hard pass.

Waste of $11 for a ham, cheese n tomato. Over valued, underwhelming! -5 stars for this kind of food.

Basically inedible. Person who left the table before me obviously felt the same. Broccoli was soggy and full of water, celery wasn't ripe, very sparce chicken pieces. Never again

Bought a Ham, Cheese, Tomato Toastie for $11 and it was definitely the worst I've had. Sourdough was so old and dried out I could not eat it. I wonder if this place has considered that some of us frequent this airport? They shouldn't serve food with the mindset they'll never see that customer again! I often get Sumo for lunch when I'm shopping but this Sydney airport one was awful.

Made the mistake of buying a sandwich here, $12.50 for what tastes like the cheapest bread available at the supermarket, bland bacon/chicken/avocado and they didn't even toast it long enough, it was cold all through the middle.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
