I soldem review places however after ordering an 'iced coffee' from this place I absolutely had to. They served my ICED COFFEE in this cup filled with ICE. I hope no one has to go through what i have went through but also get I hope they can work towards a new age system called the iced coffee cup!

There are so many brunch places in Sydney and they’re kind of all blurring into one for me. I stepped into Kelby’s expecting your run of the mill brunch menu but it was anything but ordinary. Kelby’s had a middle eastern inspired menu and it’s refreshing to see a Lebanese style breakfast on the menu in the inner west! We ordered the Lebanese breakfast and sujuk hash. Both were absolutely divine and to top it off, coffee was also perfection. Will definitely visit again.

I absolutely love Kelbys! The portions are so generous, the flavours are in abundance and the service is always warm and friendly! The food will knock your socks off (the Lebanese spices are spot on) and the coffee they now roast is honestly one of the best I have tried. They don’t do anything in halves! Love shooting for them, I have been shooting for them for over 3 years now and I’m still always in awe of their menu creations! MUST TRY!!!

Stumbled across this place with 2 other mates and I honestly wish I had been here sooner. Ordered the trademark Kelby’s big breakfast and requested for scrambled eggs with added stringed halloumi that was welcomed with zero resistance. The owner provided extensive knowledge on menu items. Glass of water was served the second we sat down. Cannot speak highly enough of how welcoming the waiter was and can best be sure I’ll be back.

A brilliant cafe offering excellent breakfast / brunch style food with middle eastern influence. We ordered the Orange, watermelon and pineapple juice, Haloumi stack, Kibbeh Shakshoukah, Banana milkshake. All were delicious, well presented and healthy. Definitely recommend coming here - one of the best, if not the best in Marrickville. Regards @fooderarri

Fast service. Good servers who are friendly yet professional. The food was good. Had bacon and egg roll. My wife had eggs Benedict. Those two items plus three coffees for just shy of $48.00 It's a popular cafe based on the number of people eating and sometimes waiting to get in. Table service.

The french toast is made from Turkish bread which actually gave the dish another level of crunch. We felt like choosing the bacon and caramelised banana option and devoured it! It might've poured too much maple syrup on the french toast which is how I enjoy it!

Very disappointing with their breakfast. Sausages were raw. Waited 25 mins for 2 simple meals. Prices are not worth the quality of meal served. Waitress putting her fingers through her hair then serving plates of food. The place has gone downhill big time!

Good coffees however a little disappointed with the big breakfast. Can confirm as others pointed out in previous reviews that there is a surcharge on the weekends.

This is a cozy café and has left the best impressions! Hospitable and warm host, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. First time in Kelby’s and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food! The specials are to die for, and the service is unmatched. Thank you for such an amazing and unique gastronomic experience!

Hands down has to be one of the best cafe burgers I’ve ever had. The addition of the gooey runny egg was just something else on top of all the flavour packed in there. A nice cosy cafe too with a great interior and open feel to it.

This is a very busy little cafe with good reason, well located and full of people, you can expect excellent coffee, the cold brew is great on a hot day, my guests had soy iced latte and others had regular flat white all to our liking. The service was slow with only one wait person on at lunch, but the food came out within 5 minutes of each other, we were not offered a second round of coffees despite empty cups when the food arrived, a missed opportunity,. The eggs Benedict served on a croissant a great twist on an old favourite which was enjoyed with three variations, the eggs poached expertly, the smashed avocado with poached eggs and feta looked delicious and the classic BLT on Turkish bread was exactly that. There was a definite middle eastern influence that added some lovely flavour. However, the bacon in the BLT ($17) was cold on arrival and the hand cut chips were soggy, but as a breakfast/brunch place a pretty good experience. Prices a little more expensive than I thought but then again everything has gone up recently. I would recommend this place, it's very relaxed. Parking is a little difficult so maybe walk if you can. Dog friendly out on the street. A treat in the heart of Marrickville.

Excellent local Cafe great for brunch. Good coffee and many dishes with a nice Turkish influence. Service is always friendly and professional. Gets quite busy as a good local meeting spot. Indoor and outdoor spaces as well as a back room area.

Friendly people, snappy service and delicious food. Plus excellent coffee - this is next level modern Marrickville. I enjoyed my Lebanese breakfast with authentic touches. The fern house feel with all the plants is a nice touch…

What an amazing food This is another cute little gem of the Marrickville community. Bright and cozy little joint with an out of the world chicken sandwich. Have not send such chunkier chicken portions in a sandwich elsewhere. Take away Coffees come with a clever and intriguing quotation. Looking forward to visit again and taste the menu

It is a lovely small cafe with friendly warm stuff, and I had very high expectations after checking the menu as they provided a good range of selections. We have ordered hash and shashouka with an extra hash brown. Hash brown was crispy and delicious. The coffee was quite milky and not strong , not sure if it was because that we ordered with soy milk. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy both dishes, which took about 25 minutes ( acceptable considering the cafe was full) Especially the shashouka, both eggs were overly cooked and it was very very dry, same with the meat ball, the whole dish was extremely dry and I couldn’t swallow without water, hence I have to waste half of the dish. The favor wasn’t too bad however. We spent about $68 for two dishes plus two coffee which is neither expensive nor cheap. I would say the cafe is very popular around that area, however based on our experience with food we have ordered today, We probably won’t come back,

The food was just average. My partner liked his Lebanese Brekky, but I didn't enjoy my bowl (lacked the flavour and the chicken was dry). Based on other reviews, I expected the food to be better. Also, had to remind them of our drinks.

  • 4/5 Joey L. 1 year ago on Google
Ordered the poached egg croissant, French toast, ice latte and cold brew. Food is average, but staff is very friendly and the cafe has a good vibe!

One of my regular places for breakfast. It can be packed but the food comes quick. Friendly service. I had the Lebanese breakfast: scrambled eggs topped with stringy halloumi, Lebanese sausages, tomato slices, zaatar, labneh, avocado, zaatar Lebanese bread.

Took them 20mins to serve some mediocre food. Nice food presentation to avoid a one star from me. Didn’t taste good though.

Came here for a birthday breakfast for my friend. Was greeted promptly by friendly staff. Food ordering was made easy and the menu was great, catering to all our wants and needs. Food was amazing and came out quite quickly, we were very happy with it. Update** came back. Food took forever to come out and somehow paid just under $70 for two mains and two coffees. Just regular coffees nothing special. Tables outside are on a slant and stools are uncomfortable. Food was pretty good... loved the Lebanese breakfast but the Turkish French toast sucks! Flavours are awesome but what a rip off just give normal bread or brioche. Xxx

This is my go-to brunch spot and for good reason! Their coffee is made perfectly everytime; their food is consistently tasty and reasonably priced. They have an amazing team that provides quick and efficient service without rushing their customers. I also love the fact they stick with the same menu and add specials to the board rather than change a menu entirely according to the season. Most customers (such as myself) will typically order what they're familiar with and/or what the cafe specialises in. This is why we keep coming back!

Great venue, friendly service and lovely food. Both of our meals were tasty and large in way of portions. Chips were incredible - proper freshly cut, crust m crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside style chips. Coffee was smooth and tasty.

Absolutely delicious food, warm & friendly service, menu features both original / unique dishes as well as immediately reconisable brekkie faves. One thing I particularly liked was the sourdough toast on the side NOT coming in 3" thick doorstops containing 60% of my day's calories ... ! The menu is vegetarian friendly as well as catering to carnivores in a very delicious baconchorizotastic fashion. Lovely atmosphere, both indoor & outdoor seating and easy parking. Superb coffee to boot ! Will definitely return to Kelby's !

Was absolutely blown away by how great this cafe is! They’re very busy on weekends but for a reason. Their dishes are creative, delicious and reasonably priced for Sydney. We ordered the Mixed Berry French Toast, Eggocado, Eggs Benny, and two frappes which are perfect for those hot summer days: Berry Bliss and Mojo Mint. Loved everything, but especially enjoyed the French toast. It was so moist but not too sweet, making it the perfect brunch dish.

My husband and I went to Kelby's on Monday for breaky and everything was great! Moe and the staff were lovely, the coffee was amazing and the food was delish. My husband got the "Kelby's Hash" and I got the Vegetarian breakfast. The Kelby's Hash was delish and mine was yummy too, however I would have left off the green lettuce leaves. We will definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed this cozy cafe with an essence of Middle Eastern cuisine. The food was so delicious, filling and beautifully presented! Between two people, we had 3 dishes and 2 drinks. It was a solid feed. ?Eggs Benedict ($18.5) ?French toast ($16.9) ?Braht bruschetta ($17.9) ?Mojo mint frappe ($7.5) ?Apple watermelon juice ($7.5) Both the drinks were really refreshing. I preferred the mojo mint frappe. The juice was nice but lacked the vibrant colour in the frappes. The eggs benny was a strong highlight. A crunchy croissant, topped with smoked salmon, oozy poached eggs and hollandaise. No complaints here! I highly recommend the french toast. It had mixed berry compote and ricotta sprinkled on top which made it lighter than other french toasts I've had.The use of Turkish bread was unique and crunchy. The drizzle of maple syrup added a nice amount of sweetness. A perfect dessert to share after a meal. The bruschetta was generously topped with fresh veggies and tasty halloumi. A very healthy dish. Bf review: really great food, I loved the mojo mint ?Follow my foodie adventures on Instagram @hungriestsam

I loved everything about my visit to Kelby’s Marrickville. The food was so beautifully presented, with great flavours and the team were really friendly and attentive. We shared three meals between two, which was a lot of food as the dishes are quite generous in size. We loved popping the soft egg yolk baked into half an avocado on the Eggocado dish and that it came with plenty of bacon, feta and tomato salsa. The Klassic Beef Burger which we upgraded to be Hawaiian style with bacon, egg and pineapple was epic, huge! We also added the side of hand cut chips which were super crispy and delicious. The French Toast is a nice spin on the traditional style, using stacked Turkish bread fingers and I appreciated that the maple syrup was served on the side and was a plentiful serve. I had the coffee frappe with vanilla which was a nice chilled drink to have with my meal and I also enjoyed a latte. Overall, a great meal in a cool little cafe.

Such a lovely little place! The dishes are beautifully presented and the flavours of the food are really complimentary. Service was great and food came out in a timely manner. I had a beauty of a time shooting here, Jenna was the most lovely host and the food was so inviting! ♥️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ?Warm French Toast ?Kelby's Hash - this was my favourite dish of the day, I mean who doesn't love baked spuds with halloumi? ?Lebanese Brekkie - labneh and zaatar always have a special place in my heart! ?Avocado Bruschetta ?Acai Bowl - *NEW* - original acai, mixed berries, banana, coconut water with seasonal fruits, chia seeds, shredded coconut and Kelby's granola ?Sweet Potato Ambush - *NEW* - oven roasted sweet potato and black beans with poached eggs, avocado, wilted kale and labneh
