The food was so delicious! It was my first time having a Thai styled vegetarian options which was mine blowing as I never knew certain foods would taste like real meat. There isn't much parking I would recommend to catch public transport or an uber. We celebrated a friends birthday it was a great atmosphere, highly recommended.

Such a great Thai vegan restaurant. The interior setting is nice and cosy. Food is delicious and well presented. Staffs are super friendly. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

This vegan restaurant serves modern and colorful Thai cuisine. The menu includes appetizers, salads, curries, noodles, rice dishes and desserts. I was very happy to see and taste fresh ingredients like fresh pineapple or young coconut, which were even used as containers for some of their dishes! Flavor and looks were amazing. Also staff was lovely! She gave us advice on what to order, and explained that they only offer our desired mango rice, when mangoes are in season and have the best flavor (in summer!). Prices seem fair for portion size and ingredients. The restaurant is large and fits many customers. The interior is simple but cozy.

I was impressed by how much I enjoyed this Vegan food. As a non-vegan I was not sure if I would like many things on the menu, but after looking at the menu I think I would be happy to try any of the items on the menu. The dishes that we ordered were delicious and I would definitely go back to try more.

Went in for a late lunch, had some computer work to do with my laptop asked for a bigger table, even though the place was empty and no one came during our visit we were still denied a bigger table. The staff were very unaccomodating. Had to finish my work in the car. Food was excellent though. Improve your customer service.

Wonderful restaurant serving all vegan dishes. Polite staff and quick service. We ordered sticky sesame wings, red curry arancini, Thai crepe dumplings, vegetable coconut soup, hor mok with jasmine rice, pad Thai and pad kee mao. Each and every dish tasted like heaven. Would definitely recommend this place for those who want to enjoy Vegan Thai food.

Beautiful decor and great service. It’s easy to find a park nearby as well. So it’s a nice place to bring a date or small group of friends. Tried the Pineapple Fried rice (looked very pretty), Pad Thai, Massamam potato curry with coconut rice, and the Tofu satay skewers. Personally I think the dishes were all too sweet. They also lacked the usual complexity in flavours that I love Thai food for. Because of this I think the meal was quite pricey for what it was. Seems like a go to spot for the vegan community. If you aren’t strictly vegan there are other places worth considering instead.

We came here for lunch during the week. They were opened during the Christmas / New year period which was great because most places had closed. There were just two of us that came in for lunch. We were seated near the front. The interior is nice except for the soft drinks and boxes of takeaway containers in front near the toilets. We ordered a Holy Basil stir fry with the coconut rice and the Pad See Eew as well. The Stir Fry came out first and then I wanted 10 minutes for the Pad See Eew to come. By the time we waited for the other dish to arrive the first dish had gone cold. I sat there watching the meals get placed on the counter ready to be taken to the table. I could see the Pad See Eew and got up and went to take it to my own table, so we didn’t have to wait for someone to grab it. I was told to sit down, and someone would bring it. We waited for someone to bring it to the table. There was about a half an hour wait to get food to the table, we only ordered two meals. A table of 8 who sat next two us who ordered just before us got their entrees and mains before we got our meals. They ran out of space and started putting their dishes it on the seat next to them. Ideally, they should of sent out their entrees then served our mains next. The food was delicious, the timing of dishes is off and if you’ve got a half hour lunch break, you’ll be late back to work. The service is friendly though. Also two out of four checks specials were unavailable. We also told the staff that they had ran out of toilet paper twice and they did nothing to replace it.

Eating at a venue always reminds me why an uber eats meal is a poor translation of what the essence of an eatery is. This place was 3x better than their plastic contained delivery. You can see from the photos a lot of the visual beauty of the dishes just wouldn't carry though. The venue itself was really nice, a large space with a wonderful courtyard. The service was prompt if not a little rushy for the following service. The food was great though. 💯 Vegan and a fancier version of Thai food. There's something about it that never made me love it. It felt a bit too sweet and it didn't have the spice explosion I like with Thai. I will be back though.

Nice restaurant for vegan food, friendly service and comfortable ambience. Portion is on average side for the price but quality a step up above your usual Thai joint. 😋

an amazing establishment. Very clean and tidy & staff are consistently excellent. Food selection is amazing and there’s a huge range of dishes. A little bit expensive but totally worth it for service, quality of food and portion sizes which are always very generous

Prices are more expensive than other Thai places but acceptable as it’s vegan which I appreciate. But after paying more I expected for the meal to be substantial. There were no vegetables in my noodle dish and the menu states that it had veggies in it. The flat noodles were rolled for some reason and so they just looked and tasted like big globs of glue. I walked there and back and was so looking forward to eating it and to just get big fat noodle balls with no veggies for more than I would usually pay I feel pretty ripped off.

This was our 2nd time here. While the food is great, the service (from every staff member) was atrocious. Anything we asked for (ie containers to take away, the bill, etc) seemed like it was a big chore. No smiles and no politeness. They have lost our business based on their very poor service.

Love this place. Best vegan Thai! Booked for 7 people 8pm on a Thursday. Arrived was able to chill wine which is BYO. So is all alcohol. Ordered arancini, spring rolls and spicy chicken wings to start. Then braised eggplant, mushroom fried rice, green curry, massaman potatoes, cashew nut stir-fry, pad see eww and coconut rice and roti. Great spacing of food, amazing flavours and friendly staff. Came to $170 for 7 people so about $25 each and was a good amount of food! Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing selection of food! We had food served in a coconut as a dish? Great portions and comfortable sitting space. Staff however can barely speak English making it hard to communicate basic things like asking where the bathroom is, and asking about gluten free options.

Great variety of vegan options, everything in the menu sounds so good! It’s very hard to choose. We had the arancini, fried mushroom and baos as entrees. All of them highly recommended. The special eggplant is really special. Plus the vegan pad thai doesn’t stay behind. A place to be back.

Very nice vegan thai food! 2nd time to be here as I’m from Melbourne. Pineapple fried rice is a must try. Generally speaking I feel like their food is quite sweet, if you like more sweet-oriented flavor, this is your treat. I love their environment there, nice, cozy and stylish. I do hope all the vegan/vegetarian restaurants thrive in businesses. Recommended.

First time pick-up order from Little Turtle tonight so I can't comment on the service but the staff at the front counter were pleasant and friendly, the food was ready on time, and most of all it was absolutely delicious - highly recommended! I had the cabbage rolls, mushroom tom yum soup and the spicy garlic and ginger stir-fry with tempeh. Will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.

Best Thai I've had in a long time, great service and reasonably priced. I ordered for takeaway and the food was better than expected and decent portion sizes. I was really impressed and will definitely be back!

Consistently good vegan food, offers ingredients, flavours and dishes that differ to the stock standard local Asian joint and friendly staff always! Been her numerous times and yet to be disappointed. Would recommend the pad see ew (super thick rolled rice noodle) and any of the curries with coconut rice.

  • 5/5 Miri S. 4 years ago on Google
Delicious food and great portion sizes. We got takeaway because we are currently isolating but the presentation was still great. My curry came in a coconut and they even gave me the coconut juice in a separate container. Will definitely get again.

Cute little place with a welcoming vibe, comfortable seating, and a solid variety on the fully vegan menu. It took a little while to be acknowledged by the staff when we walked in but after that they were very attentive and helpful. Ordered the sticky sesame wings - great, the flavour and texture was really well done, bit expensive for the portion size though; the Thai crepe dumplings - pretty good, can't really go wrong with dumplings; and the cashew stir-fry - exactly what you expect and what you want when you order a stir fry. Food came out very quickly, overall pretty happy.

Loved this place. We drove up from Wollongong to try it. The food was great and so was the service. There were small sized meals for the lunch deal so if I were you I'd grab something off the normal menu.

It was Einstein who said that "nothing will benefit humankind more than a complete vegetarian diet". The Little Turtle blends crafty and archaic Thai cooking with an intrinsic vegetarian and vegan dining experience that is wholesome, healthy, tasty and aesthetically pleasing. Great ambience inside and the staff are sensational. Great dishes and choice of drinks and a must for desserts. We will return, with the family next time ! Thank you so much !

A vegan menu best suited to westerners and vegans. A watered down version of Thai food(not for Thai's). KWAAY DIAW BAK MHO is the best Thai dish

The dining experience was very comfortable and accomodating during the current covid climate. The staff were extremely friendly and the food came out very quickly despite the many other patrons in the restaurant. The food tasted amazing and was presented eloquently! My girlfriend and I would reccomend the bbq tofu satay, the pineapple fried rice and the eggplant curry. We will absolutely be returning.

The food is super delicious! Had it for the first time and I was beyond happy with it. The pad Thai tasted just like the non vegan options and large portion! Sticky cauliflower was nice and sweet, Tom yum soup was less salty than other places which was a better balance. And then the dessert!! My goodness the coconut custard bread is unbelievable! Have it the next day slightly toasted with a coffee and I am in heaven. The please is also so beautiful and has a great atmosphere. I ordered take away but I cannot wait to eat here soon! Really happy to be able to enjoy delicious Thai again :)

Nice flavours in the eggplant curry... I was hoping to get a curry filled with different vegetables but there menu doesn’t have that. I got the $10.50 lunch special but was then charged $4.90 for one plain roti. I think the roti should be cheaper. Or they make the lunch special come with roti for $12.50 all up. Or make the entire lunch meal a bit bigger for $15. :) Interior looks fresh and staff were nice. I will come again to try other flavours.

8 of us walked there from a show late on a Saturday night. The place was still busy with a lovely, friendly vibe. We were starving and each ordered a dish - a perfect mix of tastes and textures, each dish was very very yummy. Unfortunately, there was not much space for dessert - next time Fully vegan, this place will make everyone happy!

Little Turtle is a warm, aesthetic restaurant that is both casual and fancy! The food was beyond good - it offered both a new thai experience and a new vegan experience! The pineapple rice had the best presentation and was so unique, have never had anything like it.

Vegan, BYO friendly, Thai restaurant GREAT real food; very tasty. We ordered/ate far too much food for a very reasonable price. Was advised no chickpeas used which was great due to intolerances.

  • 1/5 Erin B. 3 years ago on Google
I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced such terrible service. The restaurant was empty, but one table. I asked the waitress a simple question about the menu regarding my gluten intolerance and she did not have the time of day. We left before ordering and will not return. We don’t dine out to be served such rudeness.

Food was amazing, value for money but was very disappointed with the service. Staff not friendly, forgot the order and then gave the wrong order - specifically asked for no nuts due to severe allergy and yet food was generously decorated with nuts. When mentioned the lady was not apologetic at all, not a word, took the plate and walked off. Bad service ruined what could have been an awesome experience.

My boyfriend and I simply love this place. Staff are always friendly, restaurant ambience really classy. The menu is full of so many things, we look forward to coming back each time we leave. Always get the satay tofu for entree, it’s honestly so good and I will never stop getting it. Pineapple rice was beautiful; I only wish eggplant in Panang had more eggplant but the sauce was really delic. Also recommend the pad Thai. We are so keen to go back ASAP and try the whole menu eventually. :)

Finally had the opportunity to come here after trying their food at the night noodle markets a few years ago. Their menu doesn't have fake meat and heavily features mushrooms, tofu & tempeh. Personally I'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms, tofu or tempeh but I was celebrating a family members birthday and was able to avoid what I didn't like. Sadly even though I marked the booking for a birthday they provided no recognition of said birthday. The cauliflower wings and the puff sticks were delicious- I recommend only getting one starter for two people as we started to fill up and ended up taking some of the puff sticks home, they're very generous with the cauliflower wings. I got the masman potato's with roti while my family member got the Holy Basil tempeh stir-fry with a side of coconut rice. The sauce for the potato's was amazing however the roti you get with it is not a large enough serving for the amount of sauce. It was a small roti cut in half. The stir-fry was nice as was the coconut rice. The dishes were definitely filling. The shop isn't accessible- the step was easy enough for my manual chair to get up however it definitely wouldn't of been accessible for an electric wheelchair however they did have an accessible toilet inside which slightly confused me. For a vegan restaurant the food wasn't too expensive. They had a QR code on the counter as you entered however I couldn't access it myself as it was too high up, I was able to sign in with the help of my family member. The staff requested to see that we signed in before we got seated however didn't give us a chance to use some of the hand sanatizer next to the QR sign in area. Overall a good experience, I would come back but it probably won't be on my regular rotation of restaurants due to the lack of accessibility.

This has to be one of the best Vegan restaurants in Sydney. A must visit for all Vegan and Vegetarians in Sydney. The choice of food is awesome and the taste heavenly. The customer service is impeccable. I am sure I will visit this place many many more times. Note, this place really gets extremely busy. I strongly recommend that you get yourself a reservation well in advance. Parking can be bit challenging. You have Street parking around the place. If you find a parking slot within 500 to 700 mtrs from the place, just grab it.. 🤩

I wasn’t as impressed with the food as others, but it may have been the dish I chose (pad thai). It was average and the tofu was dry. The portion was big though, so that’s good. The vibe was also very off as it was completely empty during lunch. Maybe it is more busy at dinner. I may come back to try another dish based on what other reviewers are saying about the food...

Food was great - really enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. Fried eggplant was very good and crispy. Ado had the oyster stir fry which was delicious. Service was very good. The whole restaurant was very busy. We sat outdoors and there was a spider in the tree!

Delicious vegan Thai food, I live out of the delivery zone but I will go out of my way to pickup food from this place all the time!

Our favourite vegan restaurant! Delicious dishes filled with flavour. Mushroom Crostini, Green curry and love salad are our recommendations. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will visit again!

Delicious! Plant-based dining with fast service and lots of seating (including outdoors). Staff are lovely and did a great job at the post COVID-lockdown coordination. Bravo Team 👏

Excellent food. The braised eggplant, sticky sesame cauliflower and mushroom crostini was incredible. I highly recommend!

The serving lady appeared disinterested. She had no idea of mock/fake meat. Found that tad unusual for a vegan Thai place.

Couldn't take pics cause it was take away. But i ordered the mushroom coconut soup. Was sweet and rich with all types of mushrooms which was excellent. The holy basil stir fry was amazing. The freshness and taste was great and light. Full of vegetables. And the mango sticky rice was delicious. Had 2 scoops of rice and 1 fat mango lol. If your ever in the area would definitely try this place

This is my favourite restaurant in Sydney, I have eaten here 10+ times, everything is always cooked to perfection, the flavours are unreal. The vibe in the restaurant is great! My favourite dishes are the masman potatoes with coconut rice - it is out of this world, and the puffs sticks are amazing! The food even travels well, the package it up amazingly so if you’re feeling lazy, takeout hits the spot too.

Great food and good prices, and as for the "meat" and "cheese" I couldn't believe they weren't the real thing, they're delicious. Never thought of a curry arancini ball, and they are a must! Service was good too

Very delicious vegan food! You can easily bring someone who's not vegan and they would be so impressed!! Great & fast service, food is absolute delish! What more can you ask for! It's also BYO, make sure you book via the website beforehand.

Great vegan food! This is what I want all vegan food to taste like. I recommend the bao and Pad see eiw. Both were incredible.

Wow, the restaurant is amazing. The staff is friendly, the decor and ambience are nice and the food is to die for. Everything was perfect. Sadly we were too full to try any of the deserts. The dishes are presented beautifully. My absolute favourite was the braised eggplant which was juicy and covered in thick batter and delicious sauce. I was eating the leftovers for breakfast the next day and it was still yummy.

Amazing vegan food, eggplant is my favourite dish. Aranchini was also delicious. The bread dessert was average. Preparation of food was prompt. Short walk from train station. Overall good experience.

We had an amazing dinner at the Little Turtle on a Saturday evening. The place was packed, so we were glad we had booked a table. This was a completely vegan experience, and as the dishes kept rolling out we were astonished at how good everything tasted. The absence of animal-based ingredients was not missed at all - the flavours and textures of the food were incredible. The crispy fried tofu salad was heavenly combined with the tangy dressing. All the Thai flavours you love are dialled up to 11 in this place - and the quote of the night from our table was "This food is ****ing unbelievable!". Highly recommended!! (Note: Parking nearby can be a challenge, best to use an Uber/cab unless you enjoy a good walk!)

Love this little gem that offers quirky Thai vegan food! The food is so delicious and on par with authentic Thai food I experienced in Bangkok (before I became vegetarian). Gives me the food nostalgia and bring back the memory of our culinary trips. Always back here when we crave for great Thai food that caters for vegetarian:)

A fancier Thai option that still has the favourites as well as completely unique dishes. Although serving sizes are on the smaller side so get a few things! It's a bit away from the worst crowds which is nice and the staff have been wonderful everytime.

The food was good but average. I'd love to come back and try some more dishes. Service was great and food orders were very quick. Staff was very mindful. The venue has a very cute outdoor area ideal for summer nights.

Outstanding vegan foods. I'm very happy to have my dinner here, all the dishes are beautiful and delicious. Their taste is even better than many non-vegan Thai restaurants. Love it, I will be back to try other dishes next time. The only challenge is to find a parking slot close here at night.

Little turtle is a beautiful adaptation of Thai food turned vegan. Feel good knowing your meal has been carefully choreographed to meet the diet of a vegan and meet specific health standards. Consistency is key and little turtle sure does have it. 5 out of 5 would recommend.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff were very friendly and did a good job making us feel comfortable. The food is excellent, interesting, and full of flavour. It was a little noisy for my taste when it was busy, but they did the best they could by giving as much space as possible. I will definatelly be back. I eat half of the Red Curry Bunny Chow before taking a picture, oops. Very nice though.

Amazing vegan Thai food! Definitely recommend the Salt and Pepper Tofu, Thai Milk Tea (we call it Thai Iced Tea in the US), as well as the Sticky Sesame Wings. 🤤😋

So many options to choose from on the menu. I cannot wait to go back to try something different! My personal favourite so far were the red curry arancini yum yum had a lovely kick to them 🌶️ Only downside was it was a bit of a hot day and the fans weren't enough to stay cool. We did love how if you keep walking through it opens up to more seating which may have been cooler than at the front near the kitchen.

We had a selection of entrees which was filling enough for us, but would definitely come back to try the rest as the menu looks great! The minced crispy tofu salad was a stand out! Choosing this restaurant was a very good decision ;)

A delightful little restaurant specialising in vegan Thai food. We're not even vegan and wanted to come try it, because we had heard such good things. It didn't disappoint - tasty bites and good value for money.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
