Booked a table on Australia Day and tried to order the grilled octopus and told they didn’t have any due to no deliveries on the day - only to witness others served this dish after us. When questioned, we were told the delivery arrived after 5 minutes after we ordered at 7pm on a public holiday. This restaurant is all about quantity rather than quality. If you’re a huge eater and require enormous portions to feel satisfied then this is the perfect place for you. Expect different service/treatment from locals/regulars.

Really authentic Greek food with Greek music. Loved the vibe! They serve Lamb head which was amazing and the quail was absolutely amazing! Had the octopus too which was great. Customer service is not the friendliest though.

Went yesterday as a group and our service from the waiter was appalling. When our first dish came out, BBQ pork with chips, it was cold. Every piece of pork was dry and only a few pieces had the seasoning on it. Since these pieces were picked by the waiter, it seemed like he was being rude. There was a great difference in how we were treated by the waiter last night since he shook hands with many regulars who dined in and their food was all served steaming hot. Wouldn't recommend if you're not a regular customer

We visited this place to try their Greek grilled foods and since it has good review on the net. We ordered Taramasalata (fish-roe) dip and Saganaki fried cheese as opening dishes. We also ordered three main dishes, i.e. the Roast Pork, Souvlaki Lamb, and Pastitsio (pasta dish described as Greek lasagna). We all felt that the foods were a let-down since they're mostly under-seasoned and bland. The ones that are quite good are the opening dishes i.e. the fish-roe dip and the fried cheese (though the Saganaki is different and not as good as the one I had at The Apollo restaurant in Potts Point). The worst dish was the Roast Pork whose skin was chewy / rubbery instead of crispy and had no taste at all. The place ambience is reasonable for a casual family restaurant and the customer services from staff members are good. You can pay with credit cards with no additional surcharge. Though not too bad meal experience in itself, but we won't be back here since we don't really like their current food offering.

Walk on by. We have been purchasing from this restaurant for many years. The service has always been odd - abrupt, moody - but we went for the food which was not bad. A month or so ago, we went to purchase take-away. It was early evening, and there was only a small piece of lamb on display - but it looked like it had been left over from lunch and was dark and dry. I said I thought the lamb looked a little dry, and asked whether there was fresh lamb coming. In response, the two guys serving muttered to each other - in Greek: "Tell them we have no food to buy". When I responded that I had understood what was said (I speak Greek), and that I was just asking, they went into a verbal tirade, "why didn't I tell them I was Greek?", throwing us out and slamming the door behind us. Clearly offended that they were caught out. What a show for the customers who were dining in. Their food was always 'good enough' to overlook their odd service - but wow, I've never been thrown out of anywhere before. Their food is not that good that we would ever go back. Well, that's that. Walk on by.

Authentic Greek food. Generous portions. Fresh and delicious. You know it’s good when it’s packed with Greeks and there is an old Greek lady coming out and taking away your dishes.

Food was ok. The menu is lacking some key items that would go great with rotisserie meat. And that is Greek style potatoes baked in the oven with lemon. Not sure why this isn’t offered. Chips is “ok” but not really what you would serve with it. The service was attentive.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s favourite restaurant. Good tasty Greek cuisine, My son loved the salad because it had amazing flavour. It offers friendly and fast service. Order the roast lamb with delicious mixed vegetables or try the Calamari. Everything on the menu in this family run restaurant is good. Works well as takeaway too.

Delightful and authentic Greek cuisine. You feel like you’re in Athens eating amongst locals in a intimate room. Staff are efficient and characterful. Highlights were the grilled octopus, fried calamari, and lamb. Do make a booking.

The service was pethetic. The waiter was super rude and was literally throwing food on our table. We asked for wine and he served the wine to my minor daughter. Very very very disgusting service. I wish I could throw a shoe on his face. First this is the kind of service and secondly the the reply to the review by the restaurant. Seriously are you guys kidding me. Instead of looking into the matter, the restaurant is justifing the waiters actions. Bravo.

One of my favorite places, impeccable vibe, great food and (sometimes) friendly service. The waiter's always super nice but the other staff can be a bit cold, esp if you don't speak Greek. But frankly I don't dislike that, it adds to the vibe quite well. Just about everything I've had here has been been really great, I can't reccomend it enough. Steer clear of the sausage, though (don't remember what it was called) it wasn't that great.

Delicious authentic Greek cuisine that's been cooked homestyle. I think the restaurant has been in Marrickville for 40 years. The 18hr lamb is amazing and their calamari and octopus dishes are hard to fault. Generous servings as well so you'll be stuffed.

Great traditional Greek food. One of the oldest & best places in Sydney. Still family run. We had the mixed grill plate of BBQ lamb cutlets, pork chops, lamb souvlaki and quails. Food was amazing. Also, this is the only place that make Greek salad properly with olive oil & big chunks of fetta cheese. Next time we go it'll be the Moussaka. Service is excellent too.

My favourite Greek restaurant, in Athens or in Sydney! Food is flawless and plentiful, service warm and courteous, atmosphere one of family at relaxed play, all enhanced by gorgeous photos of white churches, deep blue skies and sea.. Perfect! Keep up the brilliant work, guys!

Traditional greek restaurant, owned and operated by greek people which makes it even better. The food was good, great size portions, but I didn’t like that some things were re-heated. The food is authentic, and the service is outstanding. The waiter was very welcoming and friendly.

Corinthian Rotisserie Restaurant, Marrickville NSW Wow Marg took me to a Greek restaurant in Marrickville called Corinthian Rotisserie. It’s the place my father would take my brother and I every Sunday night when I was about 10yrs old. It’s only a tiny place but great memories, service and food. Thank you George & Bill for the great table service and thank you Yaiyai for the delicious authentic meals. It’s now our fav Greek restaurant and we go weekly. #Corinthian_GreekRotisserie

So many fond memories from when I was a kid growing up and eating here. The fairly recent makeover has freshened up the decor, but the food is the same authentic Greek deliciousness. Still a favourite.

If it’s good enough for Albo… Great feeling with Greek music and feel in the place. The complimentary bread was warm and delicious. Had the Moussaka and chips - the portion size was huge, so you probably don’t need an entree and a main. The dish was tasty and fresh, would highly recommend.

Very disappointed experience, the food quality was average, meat was dry and the octopus was dry too, however the main issue was the waiter when he they brought us a salad without asking for it and end up pay for it plus a bottle of water when we ask them for tap water. I felt like the waiter was bushing to add items to our order, very disappointed.

Lovely service, generous portions and authentic greek dishes. The tzatiki tasted more like garlic dip and afterwards I couldn’t get that awful garlic taste out of my mouth after brushing my teeth 4 times.

Prices are a bit steep, but portions are very, very, VERY generous. I already read that from other reviews and still underestimated it. We went as 2, ordered 2 appetizers - 1 hot 1 cold, 1 main dish to share. I was already almost full after the appetizers and had to take 2 takeaway boxes. It gets quite loud during the weekends, but has a nice cozy family restaurant feel. Food quality-wise is good. Nothing too flashy or amazing but very homely food. The takeaway menu and portions are great too from what I saw.

I was over there to night, with my Turkish Friends. Everything was fresh, tasty& classic. Service was very good too. I recommend strongly for families and friend groups. But before you go, you have to make reservation, especially on weekend you should not go without.. Nice, clean, sincerely, friendly and honest Greeks!!!

I've been walking past this place for years and looking in curiously so finally decided to give it a go. On the plus side, serving sizes are huge and the service is good and welcoming. The vibe inside is nice, but with a full restaurant it was very noisy so we couldn't really converse. Unfortunately, I found the food itself a bit underwhelming. Not a lot of flavor or seasoning, and the lamb was quite tough.

Had a lovely father's lunch here and enjoyed it tremendously. The food was homey, delicious and made to be shared with the family. Great seeing size, we were full and plenty to take home. We ordered the mix grill platter for two, the beef stew, the vegetable plate, moussaka, fried calamari, Greek salad and rice for 6 people. We will be back! Thank you!

Simply the best Lamb roast in Sydney. George not only is honest but indulges with words the menu making very hard to choose one thing- makes you feel like a King with respect and manners. I recommend to everyone, This place is a gourmet oasis with a Greek twist. Have a look, a picture says a thousand words- have a look.
