I would honestly rather get Covid then give this scam of an establishment any money. They were very nice and professional until they got my deposit of $60 a head, however once they got the money the red flags began. I was organising this with Odessy for weeks then a mere few hours before the event I receive a message regarding the dress code, I thought fair enough but its a bit late now to send this. Carry on to the night and we turn up only to have 13 of 26 guests not let in at the door for “dress code issues” now your probably thinking well if they were not wearing the right clothing its our own fault but that is where you are wrong because we actually did abide by the dress code the “manager” (who turned out to be a bartender with a power trip) was just picking and choosing who gets let in. KEEP IN MIND WE ALREADY PAID. In an attempt to make the night good still the 13 of us who did get let in decided to still go that’s where things got even worse. I looked around and saw people wearing the same clothes as my friends who didn’t get let in for inside which backs up my initial point of the fact we were dressed correctly. If you think it can’t get worse it does, the cups and plates on our table were unwashed and the food came out cold. Upon fearing for my health and being clearly discriminated we all left hungry THANKFULLY WE MANAGED TO BUY SOME PIZZA TO TAKE HOME. As we were leaving the owner of the Odessy asked what the issue was and when I explained the situation admitted fault, told us that “mr I’m the manager” at the front was not in fact a manager and that they were introducing a new dress code that night that what caused the confusion. I was offered no refund even though Odessy admitted complete fault. If your thinking of going to Odessy just take your money to the casino as you will have a better chance of not wasting your money there.

Horrible place! I would not recommend going there. The minute we arrived there they told my sister she's not allowed to wear Lacoste shoes as they are not "dressy" enough, refused to let us in until she changes her shoes. In the message that was sent to us about the dress code, they specified it was towards males only and he also said "sneakers" were allowed, yet when my sister rocked up in Lacostes apparently that's not "dressy" enough. They made us drive 30 min home and then 30 min back and when we arrived the food was HORRIBLE quality, as soon as they served it to us it was cold! The "manager" of the place was an absolute d*ck head towards everyone. It was our first time going there, we'd at least expect a nice greeting. All 25 of us ended up leaving after 30 minutes from disgusting service we got from Odyssey. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It's a great experience and great location. The atmosphere is outstanding, staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The live performances are one of the best I've experienced and the variety of music, singing and dancing is amazing. The food is very tasty and great portions. The cocktails are very well balanced in addition to their large selection of drinks. I would definitely go back. I recommend the place for a night out with friends or special celebrations like a birthday party or hens/bucks night

What an absolute disaster, where do I start; - bad service - $220 for 12 year old chivas regal (asked for 3 bottles and got charged for 4, the bartender was chewing on her gum that hard she couldn’t hear or understand me) - dirty cups and cutlery - carrots on the table were soooo dry and the mezza all looked old - no room (tables were pretty much on top of each other) - very crowded - waiting outside with our female friends to get picked and up and were aggressively asked to move away (extremely arrogant and rude) - dress code (we were asked to be dressy buttons ups etc although people were in t-shirts and jumpers) WILL NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

One of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a restaurant that has live entertainment, awesome food and great service then Odyssey is the place to be. With the quality of service I received I cannot suggest anywhere else to be. Unlike other venues Odyssey was very easily accessible. Located in the heart of Leichhardt, parking almost right in front of the venue. I was out of my car and into the venue within 2minutes! Plenty of parking!!!! All the staff are great to deal with and the bartenders are quick and very talented. Live performances are entertaining and the singing and dancing is great! One of the most welcoming venues I’ve ever attended. All you want to do is get up and dance! The food is fresh and tastes great. Food is affordable and well worth what you pay! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Well below average food in terms of quality and quantity, extremely crammed seating (and that's with the VIP option!), indoor smoking of sheesha and unbelievably loud music - with no dance floor. Very poor experience overall unfortunately.

$80 per VIP person for nothing just loud music,no enough food per person ,dirty glass.. so disappointed

When I first entered this place I was amazed at how beautiful the set out was. From the bar to the stage, to the music which kept me dancing it was a great vibe. The mezza was the best I’ve had in a while and the staff were very accommodating- the service was 10/10. We had a table of 10 and i have to say it was one of the best nights in a long time and I’ll definitely be coming back very soon.

Went there with my girlfriend just recently. Terrible experience in food industry i have ever had within Australia. - Food was served cold. - Awful costumer service, most of the staffs were rude. i had to ask 4 times for something i wanted to order. - You can not find the drink menu in the their website in prior to go there, this is because the price of a bottle is about 3 to 4 times more than a normal restaurant or bar, the cheapest drink they had was Prosecco which you can buy them in any restaurants between $30 to $40, but they charge you $100 for that. - Music was good however the speakers were extremely loud which you were not able to enjoy it. Wound not recommend to go there at all, waste of tine and money!

One of the best places to be at on a Saturday night, fresh food amazing cocktails, friendly people specially the manager he kept checking on us every hour making sure everyone is having a good time thank you for a beautiful night.

this place has really amazed me. The staff were so helpful.The music was on point.The food was delicious.The workers was so welcoming and Made everything simple for us. A++++++++ keep up the good work guys I will definitely be coming back to this establishment can’t wait to see what you have in store in summer!

We booked a table for a girlfriends birthday and the food was so delicious!! All the staff members were so nice and the bartender was crazy talented, doing all these moves and doing a fire show! It was such an amazing night. I honestly highly recommend going here as its such a fun atmosphere with great music and people up and dancing.

Easily one of the most fun and entertaining venues in Sydney, especially coming out from a horrible couple of years due to Covid, the owners really knowhow to make your night memorable. Cocktails, food and mezze was delicious, would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from the usual things to do on a Saturday night and just have a great night with great company.

The event that i attended was recommended to me by a friend. For a first timer at this venue. I can definitely say it was an event ill never forget. The hospitality , service , cocktails and friendly staff made it worth coming back again. Perfect for large bookings of 20 people + The food was spot on The music LIVE Belly dancers on fire A+++++++ Cant wait for my next visit

Have been going to this place for the last 3 years with the boys. Great vibe, great atmosphere, modern, the customer service is great and they always are prompt in attending to their clients requirements. We have never had any reservation issues, and best of all, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Every night we go to odyssey it is a night to remember!

Music was excessively loud, literally deafening, mezza portion was microscopic, for the price you pay it's inhumane. Food was alright though skewers were not hot enough. Entertainment was quite good.

Odyssey would truly be one of the best middle eastern restaurant bars that I’ve experienced. I was unbelievably impressed from the helpful staff and management to the food, the atmosphere, the live performances and dancers. The staff and management were extremely attentive to all of their guests needs and requests. I will without a doubt be returning.

Went there lastnight I have to say music was great but the food was so terrible, paying $80 to enter with food we got was like cat food. Cat bowls Very disappointed.

An epic waste of money! Customer service is close to zero! Shisha was disgusting, didn’t even work we literally purchased it and left it there. Was in and out of the venue within the hour! Just not so much of a great place and wouldn’t recommend to anyone wanting to have a close to decent time.

Way too overpriced and service wasn’t good at all ! They barley put shisha flavour on the fresh apple head your just smoking an apple Instead of molasses. I believe my mates and I got ripped off big time. i do not recommend

Staff were so lovely, food and drinks were great, music was amazing. Great singers and drumming. Loved every bit of my night. I will definitely come back here and recommend to all.

I was asked by friends to show them a Lebanese party. This use to be one of the best places I have ever been to. Big disappointment.Very minimal food, not enough to feed everyone seated on the table. The shi sha had a very small orange head and tasted burnt. Regarding entertainment, if you aren’t seated on the stage, the entertainment walk straight by your table. Overall, not a recommendation for anyone wanted to take your friends to “wogify” or show them how Arabs party.

Nice atmosphere but forget enjoying you Shisha without having to adjust the coal every 10 seconds because of the bass 😂😂

Very small or should I say tiny food portions that can barely enough to feed one person, the cheff is so stingy most likely this is by the management. Nothing special in the VIP you get the same small table that can't fit the tiny food portions yes same food as well and you will leave feeling hungry, you will only get closer to the singer where it get crowded. Drink is insanely expensive, a 250$ for a bottle of normal 12 years Chivas Regal 700ml that should cost the restaurant 45$ only or less! Everyone is smoking shisha and cigarettes inside,looks like no one cares, and no ventilation or not enough. Seating is not comfortable at all and you will ended with a back pain.

Very good restaurant, we liked it very much. And the atmosphere is pleasant and take away food to the hotel. Good prices.
