I visited several Rodizo's around the world (Canada, UK etc). First of all, the prices are very high compare to other restaurants. In the price the drinks are not included. The service don't respect the rule green card, red card. The flavour of meat is very bad. Doesn't matter which one (steak, pork, lamb) is really lack of taste. I was really disappointed. Also no live shows during Dinner. Definitely I won't come back there!

Unprofessional, unfriendly customer service on Friday 6 August 2021. We were excited to try the Rodizio Brazil, however we could not book a date in advance before leaving Marseille. On the last day of our stay we decided to take a chance and enquire for a table and were told we could wait up to 45 minutes, which we were happy to do. We were contacted within 40 minutes and was promptly seated. The menu seemed complicated with all the selections and we did not get any help from the Waiter who was unable to finish his explanation without interruption. From the extensive menu it turns out that there were only three menus available which were the most expensive one at €32 and the kids and vegetarian menus. We have three children but I asked to order two kids menus as my youngest child was not too hungry. The Waiter told us this was not possible as we were obliged to order three kids menus regardless as this is the rules of the restaurant. I asked to speak to the Manager and the Waiter was flipent with his reply and offered to get the Director instead. When the Manager arrived he repeated that we were all required to purchase a meal regardless of whether they were kids and this was the restaurants policy, which was common in France. He was patronising as he told me that may be I did not understand as I was not from here although I am from Toulouse. I asked to see where these rules were available to see and I was told he did not have to show me them. Having spent ten minutes of répétition from the Manager we decided to leave as they were not very accommodating to us. So although we cannot comment on the food, the Customer Service is appalling. I would suggest the Manager should take the free feedback to improve their service. As their replies to other negative reviews are very defensive and show they do not take constructive criticism seriously; I suggest you visit other restaurants that make you feel welcome and special as we have already experienced in Marseille.

If going to a good restaurant matters to you, be sure to read my honest and comprehensive review. I had chosen this restaurant because of its positive review points, but I totally regret my choice and will never try it again. However, not everything is negative and you still have some positives. I therefore start with the positive ones : The ambience of the restaurant is warm, beautifully designed and well decorated. The location is also ideal, close to the "Old Port" of Marseille, in front of a public parking, which means you can easily park your car, enjoy your meal (we didn't) and stroll around the city harbor after eating. The drinks are also very good, really refreshing and tasty; but if you are looking for an alcoholic drink, this is not the ideal place to get in as this restaurant is labeled "Halal"! Now let's talk about the negatives : The restaurant is known to be an open buffet for meats and other ingredients; but the only part that is not really "open buffet" is the meat ! At the open buffet, you have potatoes, fries, salads, chicken heart, marinated chicken breast and beef, cold and hot pasta, sauces, etc. ; a very normal open buffet, not too many or a variety of choices, but satisfying. I mean, just satisfying ! But, the negative part, which should normally be the best part, is the meat. They say they have 10 different types of meat ! two of which are grilled pineapples and garlic bread !!! Just a pineapple and not really garlicy bread either ! Or maybe 8 meats + chicken heart and marinated cooked beef you can find in the open buffet = 10 ? But you also have marinated fish, so there are 11 different meats and not 10 ?! Anyway, here are the next 8 meats : Spicy Beef : Grilled beef with pepper, just very normal grilled beef, a little on the neutral to positive side and a little on the negative side, depending on the time and portion served to you ! My wife liked the first track and didn't like the second. Personally, I didn't like it in general. Leg of lamb with garlic and mint sauce : I guess it was some sort of sous vide or already cooked then grilled meat. Absolutely not delicious, I couldn't find any sign of garlic or mint, but I don't think that was bad either. Neither me nor my wife liked it. Cheesy Beef : Like the tender leg of lamb, but grilled with a cheese sauce. Not tasty at all ! Piece of smoked turkey caramelized with honey : Small pieces of supermarket-quality roasted turkey with sauce or curry => Not pleasant at all ! Juicy Beef Sausage : I think they gave us turkey sausages instead ! very poor quality supermarket like sausage => Horrible ! Marinated Chicken Drumstick : A thawed chicken drumstick (or maybe grilled while still frozen!), grilled with curries => Awful ! Spicy Chicken : We've never seen that ! It was only small pieces of chicken breast, normally grilled with a few curries => very normal and even of poor quality ! and finally Picanha beef : simply awful ! Very rough, very heavy, really hard to chew and eat ! I'm really sorry, but I hated it ! The food was very salty with lots of oil which is the strategy of cheap open buffet restaurants to keep you from eating more ! ! ! But at €36.90 per person without dessert and without drink ! are you kidding me ?!! Another negative point is the fact that as soon as you got served in the first round, with a very small portion of meat of course ! , the waiters no longer arrive voluntarily, and you have to ask them for more meat ! Really disgusting and really annoying ! Finally, if you are not in a good place, maybe near the kitchen, good luck to be served with hot and well-cooked meat !

A little piece of Brazil in Marseille. Good selection of salads, sides, rice, beans, and many more. The food is tasty and the meat cuts are good.

At Rodizio Brazil in Marseille, France, I appreciated the inviting atmosphere and prime location. The friendly staff accommodated me, even without a reservation. However, it's worth noting that their Rodizio style involves serving ten different types of meat one at a time, which differs from the continuous flow characteristic of the traditional Brazilian Rodizio experience.

The experience was fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire meal. The restaurant has a unique concept that sets it apart from other dining options in the area. The variety of meat options was impressive and all of the dishes were absolutely delicious - bursting with flavor! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Pretty average. Food was nice but some of of the meat skewers didn’t even come to our table and we basically had to beg to the waiter to be served more often. Particularly, it is not worth it

We loves the buffet here, our favourites were the cucumber garlic salad, the chicken hearts and the beef stroganoff. In fact we’ve even preferred the meat from the buffet over the freshly cooked steaks. The service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere and interior is great.

Very good food! I am normally someone who doesn't like to try new foods, but the aromas and the atmosphere changed my mind. I found the staff very friendly and very willing to help us get our needs met as we spoke little french. No alcohol served in this establishment and it was a nice change. I would highly recommend!

This place has alright food and slightly sub par service. The real issue is unrelated to the kitchen and wait staff and more the business model. The Brazilian "experience" is just that, kind of a Brazilian steakhouse but not really. For 38 euro you are allowed one portion of each of the ten meats and that is all. They do provide red green cards but they ignore them. The real downside to this is if you go with a group you only get one card so when 1 person wants pineapple, you all need to take it and they won't come back with it since they mark it off. It really ruins the experience. Since the Brazilian steakhouse offering the "Brazil experience" does not offer it's guests a Brazilian steakhouse or a steak house experience I give it one star. Also a side note, mocktails are 9 euro and there are no alcoholic beverages of any type here.

As a Brazilian from Rio grande do Sul, the rodízio concept is familiar to me. This restaurant is located at a convenient area and serves good quality food. The price is fair , the atmosphere very cool with good music. The staff is always at your service and the variety of meat is in line with the price. This restaurant doesn't serve alcohol beverages. So your cachaça caipirinha or strawberry caipiroska need to be drunk elsewhere. Don't be shy to ask for fresh skewers to enjoy the best meat .

Very tasty and excellent choice for our evening in Marseille. If you wanna try a Brazilian barbecue, I recommend this place. It’s worth trying. The servers were welcoming and our head waiter, Amir, went out of his way to welcome us and ensure our experience was smooth and pleasant. Regarding the meat choices, the “boeuf au poivre” and “picanha” were my favorite!

The food was really nice, the meats were cooked beautifully and a wide selection of buffet. The price wasn’t too bad as-well. The staff are lovely and so hardworking and welcoming . Even though there was language barrier, they tried their hardest to help us and provide excellent customer service :) Merci

+ The chicken hearts, picanha, fraldinha, and lamb were amazing + Nice selection of vegetables & sides + This is one of the most beautifully furnished restaurants I have been to + One of the cooks and the head waiter were very nice and helpful - The feijoada was really bad - The strogonoff was not good - Two of the waiters were impolite - The pineapple was amazing, but it was disappointing that it wasn't included in the buffet as it is customary in Brazil. - It would be nice to have plain rice in the buffet

Really enjoyed the dinner. Fried chicken and the lamb tasted the best. Picanha could be a little tender. Our server Amir was super friendly and helpful. All the employees were extremely kind.

I randomly ran into this restaurant. At the first 30 minutes, there is no service at all. Not water, no asking, and even no one told me there is a buffet inside... Some waiters are cold as I saw from other comments. Perhaps he should do a job that requires less hospitality, if he has the skills as I doubt very much ... Seriously unpleasant experience.

  • 2/5 Mirella S. 1 year ago on Google
Just to make it clear: The food was tasty. But it did not have Brazilian flavour. The spices used are not used on Brazilian food. If you look the low rating reviews, they are mostly from Brazilian people sharing their disappointment. If you are willing to go to a place where you will pay around 35 euros, you are expecting to get what is advertised. So if you are a Brazilian missing the flavours of your food (like me), this is not the place to satisfy it. Also, even having reserved a table, we waited in line for 25 minutes.

it is the best experience i had in the city. I visited a lot of restaurants in the city and i was disappointed. This restaurant was a nice surprise for a Greek who is familiar with the quality food and mediterranean tastes.

Good food, some waiters not as nice as the others but they were in the minority. Lovely decor, lovely details. A bit on the expensive side but worth it if you're really hungry.
