Place is very pleasant and good service. But the food prices are too expensive. Biriyani Sawan is nearly 5000 Rupees and it's not worthy for that price.

I visit there like a week ago, on that time cool drinks refrigerator not working and they don't have a alternate cooker or something for a broken machine. That's problem I saw on that day. Others are overall okay.

Oh, this was bad. Very little available. They only had one burger but no lettuce. No kids meals. The coke was without bubbels. Gross toilets. They claim to have wifi but there was no wifi. Playground for kids closed. The chicken was deeply fried (too long). Foreigners, and also locals btw, please skip this place. Worst place to have eaten in whole Sri Lanka. Service also terrible. I am laughing while writing this review. Hahaha. Wow

Food is good. There is no menu. After asking the menu, they showed us the TV. You should be able to freely look at a menu and place the order. There were other customers waiting behind us. Therefore, be careful to place the order anyway. That is the biggest drawback in Matara KFC.

The most strange kfc I ever visited. Only 1 option of burger available, no potato available. At noon in Sunday(!). There eis really weird do not serve a fried potato. The single good in here is staff. They are really nice and polite.

This is in the Matara town next to Cargills food city. Best place to have a meal. There was a separate kids play area as well. The view was great, having the matara beach in the opposite side of the road. The place is a bit crowded though. Staff was good

I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with the meal that I received at an exorbitant price. The food was of poor quality and included a large amount of lettuce and Pepsi poured from a plastic bottle. In comparison, other nearby establishments offer higher quality meals at the same or lower prices. The issue was not the price itself, but rather the poor quality of the food. Additionally, the chicken did not have the taste of the original KFC recipe, but rather had a cheap curry flavor. In the future, we could choose to visit a local shop for curry chicken, as they consistently provide a better taste than the curry flavor offered by KFC. If KFC is going to serve curry chicken, it is important to do it properly or to offer the original KFC recipe that is well-known and appreciated worldwide. Overall, this was a highly disappointing experience and the worst meal I have ever had at this price range, with the added disappointment of having Pepsi poured from a cheap plastic bottle rather than being served via a machine or can for a premium price. It was a completely unacceptable dining experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We were searching for good place to eat & choose KFC for eat our meal cause it will be hygienic. But very sorry to say this the maintenance was very bad we can't use the restroom cause it was disgusting.. Didn't expect these kind of disappoints from KFC .. As per comparing to other branches KFC this branch must learn about how to make hygiene place & very good customer service .. While we were tired of waiting for the food they said just 2minutes , but it were been exactly 13minutes ( after waiting for two minutes ).. We are from Eastern province while comparing to the Eastern province KFC this Matara branch was very disapointable .. This isn't the first time it was the second time to us .. Please check the conditions of the restroom sinks it was disgusting & the bad smell makes illness to eat .. And also the tables wasn't tidy .. Please as a customer we are requesting to the branch to make sure it was tidy and clean & good friendly staffs .. Please!!!

First staff walked away when we started talking in english. The second staff did not understand english, so she called the third staff. The third staff understood english but was waiting until the second staff asked him to come over, still was not able to recommend us what’s best to eat. Food was delicious, but would have tried more and KFC would have got a bigger sales from us if they had communicated with us properly. Felt that they wasn’t paid enough to keep the customers happy. I’m use KFC at least two times per week, yesterday I was in Matara kfc with my family and I was in line to place my order. They took the Oder 3 person who came after me. Disgusting. I was asking about my Oder few times and one guy who was in cashier said one minutes more. And get another Oder. I was there more than 20min, I had few situations like that even before but I didn’t complain. This will be last time i use KFC.

As same as other KFC outlets. Ample parking space but here dining area not very large few tables but you can enjoy your KFC meal at matara beach park. Because place is located opposite side of the beach. So you just need to cross the road carefully.

No fries , apparently they don't sell fries only rice ? No bad stars for that as obviously its a regional thing. The young man that served us was full of smiles and very polite, unfortunately the staff in the background had all their faces on the floor . Chicken was spicy even though they said it wasn't spicy? Food was over cooked, and very very dry.

Food is same quality as other KFC branches. But I want to highlight some negative points. Sometimes inside is too noisy. Music is too loud sometimes. Sometimes workers also speaks in loud with each other and it really is a disturbance. Also this restaurant is situated near the beach which has a great view, but at the evening Sunlight directly falls inside and it's getting hot, so feels like air-conditioning is not enough for some tables. Some beggers are there in the parking area. Sometimes they will ask for money as we leave and it is not a pleasant experience for me and for some other customers also.
