Great portions, very helpful staff and really good Indian food, not expensive prices. Desserts: cheesecake is not actually a cheesecake, but still pretty good dessert. Also unfortunately the had no any drinks except soft. Beside of that place is really good and I can recommend this for visit.

This is an authentic indian restaurant and the food was excellent. The service was superb. Food was so tasty and also worth to the price. The place is quite great. The seating is based facing the sea view in a pavillion mode. I would definitely visut this restaurant agian and again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves indian taste

Don't be caught to their dodgy biryani meals, the chicken biryani is not offered with roasted chicken but with two little pieces of chicken curry. The rice itself is too yellowed by adding too much turmeric. They offer vegetable and fish biryani as well which we never heard of in this world. The cost of vegetable biryani is Rs 500.00 just for over yellowed rice with two slices of cucumber. It comes with very little cup of curd but very old and very sour. The fish biryani is Rs 450.00 offered with the same over yellowed rice and small piece of fish. Three boys at the counter will mislead you and over charge for meals. They always try to sell their dodgy biryanis so you must clearly say "rice and curry" to avoid them to offer you very expensive vegetable biryani.

Reasonable prices and tasty food. Go to place in Matara. Cleanliness is guaranteed. Only drawback is they only have soft drinks, no fruit juice options. A good view of ocean with the nice seating arrangement. And, located away from the busy side of the city.

Worst indian food I ever had, ordered nan bread and Hyderabad biriyani nan bread was okay but biriyani was terrible and un edible.

Ambasewana has a nice seating arrangement which faced to the beach side. Food is okay, but not the best.

This muton biriyani was 1700 Rs and not worth at all for that cost. Other thing , it was not a real biriyani. Personally I recommend not to order this meal. ( I had better at this place few years ago)

The menu is so wide and we can go various options. Not that much time also taken for prepare dishes. Vegetarian options are much special, you can find many vegetarian fried rices, pulav, koththu and pasta from there.

Good food and a reasonable menu. Not cheap on the price but not exaggerating also. Simply put, it’s worth the experience. Location is great and the seating arrangement is one of a kind where the scenery is enjoyable with a cinema like experience with each row placed in different heights. Available for dine in and take away. Unfortunately air conditioning isn’t available and could be quite hot during daytime. If you are to dine in during the evening then it’s not an issue. However at night the front view of the sea isn’t that visible as opposed to daytime. But food tastes just the same 😊.
