Nice place

Small, quiet and secluded hotel with nice and courteous staff. Although the hotel is quite old, the rooms were still cozy, comfortable and affordable. I would recommend it.

This close-knit lodging facility, restaurant and bar gave me a feel of a hotel laced with a residential ambiance. Located in a siren environment in Akpan Essien, Uyo, you can have everything you want customised. The staff has a housing-keeping - almost domestic - outlook, always on ground to cater to the needs of guests. The a la carte response to food orders gives a feel of someone in his home waiting for fresh food to be made and served from.his kitchen. Akwa-Ibom cuisine is rich here. From afang soup to editang, atama, and edika ikong, you will want to make this place a home you come back to when you get the chance. If you wish to go there though, you have to note the street address system in that area is a bit complicated. There are more than one lanes of Akpan Essien; El Mariz is on Akpan Essien Lane 'A'. And the number is 26 (new), 24 (old). The street is off Ikot Ekpene road.
