All food served here is very traditional Saudi food. The place has two main halls, one for men, I am assuming with proper serving tables (i am really not sure 😅) and another hall for families, which consists of multiple private rooms for complete privacy (the one we got was floor seating, i am not sure if there is ones with tables available). We ordered mandi and kebab as two main courses and multiple starters and side dishes. I want to praise the kebab the most, it was deliciously spiced, bbqed to perfection, and the meat was not full of fat (usually full fat makes you bloated, but this one was amazingly healthy). I think it is becoming a tradition to visit Al Romansiah restaurant while in Saudi 😃

The food tastes normal. There is nothing special about it. The food didn't suite me and caused me stomach problems.

The taste was amazing and price is also reasonable compared to other restaurants in the vicinity. Tried Mandi, Madbi, Meat Mandi, Kunafa and Salad. Kunafa was not good though, everything else was great. Will recommend trying. Staff doesn’t speak english so its difficult to explain what you need.

The best authentic Saudi restaurant near al Haram. We typically order lamb mandy (a set of SAR95) with the sauce SAR5. The portion size is big sufficient for all four of us. The taste is very delicious and comparable against Yemeni’s mandy although it is a bit pricey as far as we are concerned. This Al Romansiah occupies three floors for dining. It is basically a cafeteria where you place order and pay. Then the cashier will provide you with a receipt. Then submit the receipt at the delivery counter. It was a very quick process despite busy time during Ramadan 2023. Their ordering, payment and food collection system is very organised and systematic. This should be a model for other resources in Saudi. There are toilets on every floor. The staff are very helpful. Some of them particularly the cashiers could speak English. There is a notice that this particular restaurant could accommodate 400 customers at a time. The cleaning workers will come and clear the table as soon as you leave the table. During my 30 days stay during Ramadan, I came here three times. All after teraweh prayers. This restaurant never disappoints me.

Romansiah is where you can taste Saudi Arabian somewhat traditional dishes on an affordable price. This spot inside Jabal Omar is spacious and potential with amble sitting spaces, most of them are overlooking Haram masjid compound along Ibrahim Khalil road. Thay have many branches along different provinces inside Saudi Arabia. Only a kind suggestion to the management to standardize the rate like other branches (as done by jabal Omar al-baik ) since almost all items here are expensive compared with other branches.

Inside Gabal Omar Tower (Al Khalil Market, the next entrance after Dunkin donuts and after the eseclators). Very nice food, organized place and professional service.

Highly recommended for lunch in Makkah, if you like Mandi / Bukhari / Madfoon and so on. I have tried their 1/2 Chicken Bukhari + Lamb Mandi. They claim each dish is for one person but I think the portion size is enough for two adults, so dont over order unless you are really hungry.

A friend of mine who lives in Saudi suggested this place and I was not disappointed. From hygiene conditions to the taste of the food , everything was so good. I specially loved the their Maghtoot Chicken. For me its easiest the best food I had in saudia in my 2 visits. Its recommended to all Pakistani and Indian brothers as its got the perfect spices for our tongues. I can’t wait to get back and try some of it more, InshaAllah.

Worst and funny experience. Not even a single staff knows english!!! Like how do they expect to treat customers? Finally with the help of sign language and google translate somehow managed to place the order. Food was average anyhow. Costly enough.

Recommended. Very fast services. The ambience is nice, clean & a lot of seats for dine in. Foods wise are good. I've ordered chicken madhfoun. The taste is good just that the caramelised onion are very little. I guess that's the thing make the rice flavour a little bit special. While the kunafa is just so-so. Quite dry and doesn't have any extra special.

Fast service despite many customers. Plenty of tables for dining in. The chicken mandy was superb.. juicy and tender chicken with fragrant moist rice. Also, the added glazed onion was a good match to the dish making it tastier.

The rice portion was generous; however, the meat was minimal, mostly bones. I expected more meat since the plate looked substantial. Will I return? Maybe, but I'll suggest adding more meat, not just bones! Also, the price seemed high, considering there was no salad or yogurt included; I had to buy them separately.

Tried chicken mandi, bukhari mandi, and madghoot. All were fantastic. Their kunafa and Ume ali are also worth trying. A bit pricey considering their regular serving recommended for two might not be enough for two people

Authentic mandhi rice dinner, i ordered the lamb and chicken one, very tasty meat, its soft and tender for the lamb and i love the spice on it.. really flavorful.. for a tourist like me dining experience is also different.. we eat on the table while the rice is poured in the middle.. interesting!

Valuable food

Everything was perfect, the food, the speed, the service, the atmosphere, literally everything. It just a bit pricey there since we are in Mekkah. Plus its really crowded with lots of tourists. Though, the bathrooms are spot clean, there's so much chairs, the restaurant is so large, it can serve up to 400 people. Their food is delicious and satisfying.

Honest review, After reading peoples comments and me personally trying it. Pros : *The mandi was good, good quality and good quantity of rice. And the meat is yummy, the meat quantity is as same as any other mandi restaurant around the globe would serve. People complaining about more fat and full of bones and less meat well this is what mandi is all about. The mixture of rice, meat, tomato sauce and fat. When it goes in your mouth and blends it’s a different level of taste. I would suggest people of india and pakistan or those people who eat spicy food to not try it until you understand what mandi is. Cons: *It was over priced expensive. I payed around 500 riyal for 3 people ( mandi, water, laban, salad, tomato sauce, soup ) *The rice was warm but the meat was cold. I couldn’t enjoy the fat as it was not that hot. *Communication problem at the counter The management should hire a person who speaks english and his job should be to wander around near sales counter with “MAY I HELP YOU” written on his shirt. Who can help people order. * the management charged such a high amount and there was no free soup nor tomato source. Without which mandi is not mandi. Then i had to go all the way down, stand in line and selected tomato sauce and the stand in collection counter and went back up again and found out that they gave me chicken soup. Which i buyed for 30 riyals I mixed the soup with rice but wasn’t getting that vibe so again i had to clean my hands, go down and show him tomato sauce’s picture on phone from internet and then again stand at collection line and move back up. And during my these 2 trips up and down my food which was not warm now was cold. i would like to request the management plz don’t separate the traditional soup and tomato sauce from mandi, give it complementary along with mandi. Coz majority of the people who tried your mandi could not enjoy as what i read from the reviews. Apart from it I really liked the mandi.
