Nice 4 stars hotel with a strategic location and design. Unfortunately i lost my flazz card ( a gift from my lovely one and has some amount on it) at the room, because I'm pretty sure i left it there on the ground. I called the reception on the night, but sadly they found nothing. 😭

Staffs are friendly and good. The room is cozy, but no view from my window. Next time please give me a city view room. Breakfast really good, please send my gratitude to the chefs.

Not impressed. I asked for a quiet room which they told me I had. I went up to the room to see it was on the first floor right above the bar where the New Year's Eve party is going on! When I complained at the front desk they said they could give me a smoking room, but this was then immediately withdrawn saying that it was booked out already. To make things worse the room is filthy - dirty carpet, wallpaper peeling off, cobwebs, stained pillows. I don't think it has been well cleaned in weeks. I was told this was a superior room - it doesn't feel like it. I had a long travel day behind me and couldn't get any sleep with the music blaring out. Surely there are better, cleaner, hotels than this.

I would give ZERO star if possible. About 11pm, we made a last minute booking through Agoda for the next day, however once the payment was finalised, there was an error and the booking showed it was for the very same night. Within minutes we notified the hotel via the number in their website and via whatsapp regarding the error and requested them to amend the the booking for the next day. Agoda representative also confirmed that they had notified the hotel requesting for the change. In addition, we also personally emailed the hotel for the same. The next morning at 7am, their front desk agent sent an email refusing to update the booking and blatantly asking us to make a completely new booking directly with them (no refund for the previous booking). A request for escalation, was followed by another email from their front desk manager stating the same thing that they would not honor the request for updating the booking. We were shocked with such a poor and shortsighted business decision displayed by the hotel. It was very obvious that it was a genuine mistake where we made the booking at 11pm, and it would be leas likely we would checkin so late and within minutes we attempted to notify them. Such decision and approach reflect extremely poor and shortsighted business acumen, showing greediness and serious lack of understanding of what customer service and the service industry are all about. Our family and relatives have been supporting this hotel for many many years and such experience left a very bitter taste and we would rather spend our money somewhere else from now onwards.

Good taste of breakfast with many variety of foods.

Great location, near the Centre Point Mall, spacious room, clean bed linen and towel. Standard Amenities. Great hospitality from the reception. They have free shuttle service, to transport you to the train station and some culinary place. For sure I will recommend this hotel, as next to the hotel, you can access ATM so that nothing to worry when you are cash out.

Best Value for price, consider the location is located around Medan train station, Murni Teguh Hospital, and Centre Point mall. Good choice of culinary with 800-1000m walking distance. The staff was helpful, we were having trouble with the AC and requested another room, and they did right away. Tips: - request a non smoking floor if you are not smoker - there’s no refrigerator in the room, but you can ask the hotel to store your food in the hotel’s chiller. I did that when I bought Bolu Meranti to fly the next day.

Very nice hotel close to the train station. There's a spa and fitness. The staff is very friendly and speaks fluent English. The room is clean and big.

This hotel placed very near to Medan Station, we only need walk to Medan station and using train to airport, the room clean enough and the toilet also good maintenance. Food at the restaurant also have some variations in case we need more taste. Services are very fast response and friendly

I stayed for two nights. First night was good and comffy. Second night (thursday night) at 1 a.m. there is a loud singing (vocal practice) of a few perfomers at the lounge at the Lobby level. For anyone who stayed facing the lobby would have heard it and sleep will be interrupted for sure! Not recommended to stay at low floor and facing the lobby.

Karibia Boutique Hotel is a sophisticated 4 stars hotel closed to the centre point of Medan City, located at the strategic corner of the building in a complex consist of a hospital and shop areas, and a luxury shopping mall namely Centre Points shopping malls, providing guests with many activity convenience of accommodation options. The worst customer service ever, you guys should be ashamed!!!! Upon checking inn, I was told they upgraded my room and if I wanted to extend I could stay in the same room for same price, once I extended it was another story, the manager Rudy was very very rude and almost being condescending the front desk girls weren’t any help either, the hotel is also very loud you can here everything in the rooms next to you, the AC takes about 24 hours just to get cold, mild in my room, dirty chair, I will never stay here again, do your self a favor and spend an extra 10 dollars and stay at the grand mecure one of the best hotels in Medan, that’s where I will be staying for the remainder of my trip, on a side note these rooms are so bad the toilet didn’t even flush

Rooms are clean and well maintained, location is also quite good, breakfast is good, but compared to the room facilities the price is on the higher side. Can try for short trips to the city.

I had a business trip in medan and take a looked for good hotel nearby railing station Medan then got this hotel with my colleagues book. Herewith the Good points from this hotel (1) This hotel has cozy room with affordable rate. Not too small, not too large. Just sufficient for business trip stay. (2) Located at the city center which very closed to Medan Central Station, Centre Point Plaza Medan, Hospitals and other attractions place. (3) Room cleanest was good with Intercontinental minimalist concept. (4) They have gym center and spa for our fitness treatments. (5) Check in time was quite fast (less than 5 minutes), Even i need to put IDR 300K deposits. Point to improve: (1) The TV images was not so clear. Not really good image at all. (2) Foods for breakfast was so limited. When I was there around 9 am, the croissant was empty, only 2 fruits options, limited western foods and the taste of locals food was also just ordinary. It was not really like 4 star Boutique Hotel in my expectation. (3) I went to receptionist at 22:00 (12-12-2019), I asked to the receptionist about the gym readiness in the next morning. He said the gym will open at 10am with rude expressions. Then when I checked out, the other receptionist said the gym are actually opened since 7am. Then I didn’t enjoyed fitness treatment at that moment. How rude!. It would be appreciated if the receptionist has same knowledge about they work place. (4) Check out time takes 13-15 minutes even the hotel payment has done prior staying period through 3rd parties agent. It was bad if the guest will having rush trip to the airport with short time. Saturday-Sunday overnight stay, hotel was very clean, rooms in good condition. Great location with everything you need close by. Marine restaraunt on lobby level fantastic food, everything was perfect.

Near me center point shopping mall, near gym, near train station, near food court, near airport by train, near selat panjang food street, near mi tiong sim, near semarang food street, near hospital murni teguh, near well known cell phone shop, clean room but small, need to improve maintenance, I guess, very good price. Worst hotel ever, they overbooked the hotel room, and when we ask for full refund are very troublesome. Need 20 days for refund. Very not recommended

A very convenient hotel to stay in Medan town. Close to the Centre Point Mall and lots of food options within the vicinity. Also very close to the Medan Station (easily get a train to KNO airport). Great service from reception and hotel rooms are reasonable size for the price. Great value for money. Highly recommended for visitors and for business patrons. Breakfast choice are very good as well. A definite return.

Conveniently located next to a huge and modern shopping mall (Centre Point). The room, however, wasn't up to my expectation. Being dubbed superior, the room is actually pretty small with no much space to move around. The bathroom is also quite compact, just serving its purpose effectively. It's quite an old hotel with imperfections in the interior. Nevertheless, it is overall a comfortable place to stay.

Good location but people often smoke on the non-smoking floors and the management doesn't do anything about it. Rooms are very small

Rooms are dark and the window opens to a wall so basically not enough lighting and window is for same sake. This was the case with my room, probably this is the problem with few rooms only. Note that the pictures posted were taken in the morning and still looks like dark night 🥱.

Quite small for a four star hotel. The hall is quite big, but the rest room in 7 th floor is quite far to reach. And the bed room is standard for 3 stars. Food also in average taste. Difficult parking spot. Nothing special.

I've stayed in this hotel 2 times. the first time I felt comfortable, but the second time I felt very very disappointed. know why? first the receptionist service was very bad, they didn't give me the room that I asked for. the second, I extended the room, and they said my room had been sold and I had to move to another room, seriously I was very shocked and disappointed, at that time there were still other rooms and why weren't other guests given rooms that were still AVAILABLE !!! their reasons didn't make sense and I complained for quite a while and in the end they didn't replace my room but my feelings were a little disappointed already ! then they no say “ SORRY “ about that. i stay in this hotel not for FREE , please ! so please give the best service. but btw only the receptionists named "Rudy and Bella" were friendly. although the receptionist service is very BAD, I like the cleanliness of the rooms at this hotel, and the friendly security. please this company is looking for a receptionist who has potential and can find a solution, not just talk and think the problem is so easy without thinking about other people's feelings !

The room was great overall. Very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the shower water temperature was not very warm making for an uncomfortable shower. FYI: if booking online make sure you indicate nonsmoking room otherwise they may put you in a smoking room by default. Luckily staff was able to accommodate us.

Is very near to train station and shopping complex. Nice to stay here and convenient to go nearby cafeteria and restaurant.

Actually it' s a good service over all..but It's difficult to find parking area..the exist one is very small.
