I didn’t go at night , but honestly to me looks pretty safe . A little bit dodgy but you are in Colombia too. A few homeless and a little bit of bad smell but good energy overall . Good place to spend a couple of hours , just stroll and chill and watch the peoples . My advice : maybe avoid at night

Parque Berrio is a local spot filled with shops, stands and sellers. Public transportation all around. Too many shops to count. Various drinks vendors and restaurants available. Place gets very crowded so not for the faint of heart. Plus a couple of good spots for picture opportunities.

To me this area is the real Colombia. The metro stops right on top of the park, makes it a good place to stop off for coffee or lunch and walk around a bit.

I didnt have a problem as I went mid day. Its a large outdoor market. Be careful with phones and bags in this area.

Alot of thing to do around this area. EVERYTHING IS REALLY CHEAP.But i would not recommend the foods every food around here is not to good. Park is really nice.A plus arpund the corner are so many ho3s very cheap prices.I would not recommend you come around after 6 p.m. Be very carefull pulling your phone out ive seen people just come up and steal peoples cell phones right out the buses windows or peoples hand and just run off.But prices for vegtables and fruites are fresh and pretty cheap.

This whole area is very cool and full of Medellin history. Lots of vendors around with food and souvenirs... And Fake sneakers if thats your thing. Lol If you are able I recommend a walking tour at night- it's a whole different place when the sun goes down. I don't recommend doing it alone tho, guided tours are easy to find.
