Really cute place only a 10 minute walk from where the bus dropped us off and was not too strenuous going back up with our bags. The rooms and public areas are really cute. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was provided and was really yummy. There are hammocks to lay in and read/nap. Good areas for playing cards/games. It's a beautiful property with good views and perfect for getting away from touristic people and places. We had fantastic veggie/vegan burgers at the close restaurant, Artesano, for dinner. The place is close to other restaurants and a grocery store. TO GET THERE FROM MEDELLIN: it's a lot easier than it sounds. I highly recommend taking the cable car and you get a beautiful view. The first cable car ride to Santo Domingo is free with a single metro ticket. The second cable car to Arví is only $12,500 pesos per person. Once in the park, follow signs for the bathrooms and continue to the road. Stand on the other side of the road to get the white (not green) bus for $2,800 pesos per person to the left, going down the hill. It's about a 15 minute drive to the grocery store at the start of the property's road.

The place has a great view to mountains, and it's in general quite peaceful. There might be a few neighbours that will play loud music during the day or night that can be heard anywhere, that is the only factor that can make it a less relaxing experience. The facilities are in good condition, they are pretty and clean, the service that Albany provides is very good. The shared kitchen might need some reparations, as somethings are broken. Be aware that restaurants, supermarket and etc., in the near area only accept cash, and the closest ATM is at Arvi Park. Uber doesn't work that well in the area. This place is AMAZING! The name casa profunda is perfect because you can truly go deep here. The views are beautiful from the house. It’s quiet and peaceful. The owners are amazing and friendly. I had no plans while I was there, and they included me in their plans. They were going for a hike and ask me if I wanted to come. The hike was amazing. We went for lunch afterwards and that was also amazing. I will definitely stay again but maybe when it’s warmer lol.

The house is well maintained with a rustic feel. Very nice surroundings. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. Keep in mind it functions like a Hostel, and rooms are where you share the house and rooms are close to each other. We had booked the one room that has more privacy but there was an issue with the booking and They ended up accommodating us in two rooms inside the house which wasn't ideal but fine. Highly recommend for adventurous type.

Lina and Victor were absolutely amazing hosts and clearly took massive pride in cultivating a wonderful environment for their guests. Bring layers – it’s a little chilly sometimes, but they were really accommodating with portable heaters and extra blankets. Breakfast was lovely, and the town was really convenient and easily accessible, with everything you’d ever need. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you for looking after me!
