Absolutely horrific service! The rating is misleading to an extreme limit. Its sad that I thought of treating my mother with an amazing experience after reading this hotel’s reviews online. They charged me 3018.75 SAR per night which is around $815 that is complete rip off. The service they provided was maybe like living in a motel. I would rate this hotel less than zero due to their pathetic staff, stale food and sky high price. Their staff is both irresponsible and unscrupulous. My mother wanted a wheel chair which they brought after a while and suddenly decided to hand it to someone else. I had to fight to have them hand it over to me as we had waited a while for it. Their check-in desk people are quite misleading and inflexible. They stated that the holy mosque needs a particular app and gave us a hard time to check-in because we didn’t have it. I wasn’t asked for any app when I visited the holy mosque. They made me walk to a room far away from the lobby to sign some paperwork. All other hotels just wanted to see my visa but they wanted me to send it to them via what’s app and gave me a hard time when I said I wanted to send it to them another way. Their roof was leaking water and carpets had a foul smell. Their restaurant had big piles of laundry in front of the elevator. Their elevators were packed with people and it sometimes took half hour waiting to get in. I don’t believe I covered it all but on the whole this experience was worse than what I am able to write.

Very bad in-house experience such as wifi is either extremely slow or not working at all. TV didn't work altogether and despite numerous complaints no one listened to us. I mean this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel but these basic services were not proper. Breakfast is just fine. Location is very good specially for ladies going to pray in Haram. For this high price, it wasn't a good value for money.

Cleanliness 8/10 carpet worn out and some parts of the carpet was lifting in some places which can be a trip hazard. Generally clean but there are signs of mould in the bathroom sealants. Service 7/10 Generally helpful just felt at during check-in took over an hour although they did start to give 1 room at a time in different intervals. Prayer mat usually provided within rooms, this time they didn’t have the prayer mat so had to call several times for the prayer mat at which point they said doesn’t the room have it already and informed them no, after which they gave one. Food choices 7/10 not such a wide variety of foods and omelette station had only two hobs working but very slow. Manager for the restaurant was very polite, helpful and staffs (serving staffs generally were very courteous including the room service staff 10/10) at the restaurant were very helpful when I mentioned there’s no glasses for the juices (they served fresh orange juices, not diluted orange juice) or cutleries on the table we sat as most of the other tables either were occupied or not cleaned after guest have had their breakfast. Convenience 6/10 lifts are not huge, and concierge staff were they’re taking luggage’s up and down, for guests who have arrived and departing, which is understandable but maybe they should consider service lifts for that task only. FYI if your not Malaysian or Indonesian your breakfast and food place is on first floor and not on M. You have to come to the ground floor and than take a different set of lift to go to the first floor, unless you’re staying near the lifts which goes to first floor. It’s literally 2min walk to the Haram and easy access to the ladies and men entrances. Hotel does provide an iron and ironing board for those who are curious. Adhan service is not available in this hotel rooms but I believe I heard the Adhan go off in the hall way.

Room was very small. They fitted 4 beds in a 3 bed room. Very congusted quad room. When we entered the room, the air conditioning started leaking and is urgently fixed by hotel staff. Location is fantastic. Right in front of Ladies gate. Room service was great and guys on 4th floor are very humble and polite. It was a comfortable stay.

Location of hotel is excellent. But their rooms need revamp. Toilets are quite small as compared to other hotels in this area. Otherwise this hotelis nice and if they renovate their rooms and toilets it is worth staying. Price tag is a bit higher than facilities.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Hotel Dallah Taybah in Madina, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. The management of this hotel is abysmal, and their incompetence is evident in every aspect of their operation. To begin with, the lifts in the hotel were a complete disaster. They were unable to handle the number of passengers, resulting in overcrowding and long waiting times. It was frustrating and inconvenient, especially during peak hours when everyone was trying to get to their rooms or leave the hotel. The overcrowding issue extended beyond just the lifts. The entire hotel felt packed with guests, making it a chaotic and uncomfortable environment. There was no sense of tranquility or relaxation anywhere on the premises. One of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the food. The meals provided at Hotel Dallah Taybah were consistently cold and unappetizing. It was evident that the kitchen staff had little regard for quality or presentation. It was a struggle to find something edible, and even then, the taste left much to be desired. The outdated state of the TV in my room was another letdown. The screen was small and the channels were limited. It felt like I had traveled back in time to the 1990s. In this day and age, a hotel should at least provide modern amenities to its guests, but Hotel Dallah Taybah fell short in this regard. The wifi at this hotel was a complete joke. It was excruciatingly slow, making it virtually impossible to do any work or even browse the internet. In a world that relies heavily on connectivity, it is unacceptable for a hotel to offer such subpar wifi service. Furthermore, the helpdesk and staff were non-supportive and unhelpful. Any inquiries or requests were met with indifference or incompetence. It seemed like they were doing the bare minimum to fulfill their responsibilities and lacked any genuine concern for guest satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise against opting for Hotel Dallah Taybah in Madina. The poor management, malfunctioning lifts, overcrowding, cold and unappetizing food, outdated TV, slow wifi, and unhelpful staff make for an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different hotel that values its guests and provides the basic amenities and services expected from a decent accommodation.

Terrible hotel. bad service and terrible rooms. No hotel should state they are 5 star unless they have something to hide. You do not see Hilton, Fairmont, Raffles state they are 5 star. You just know they are! This is not a 5 star hotel guys, don't be fooled. The bathrooms smelt of sewage. the wooden floor was all chipped. the walls were grubby and chipped, the wifi was so bad it was not funny, especially when you have 2 kids to keep entertained. This was not fixed even by their IT manager. The best is. the view from my window. PRISON. you can see the slats. What's that all about? Guys look at the pictures attached. Both Managers on duty were irresponsive to my needs.

At first I was a bit hesitant of the hotel. But I was pretty blown away at the service. The people working at this hotel are incredible. Each of them have their own story of who they are supporting and how they got here. But the level of service they provide to ensure your stay is comfortable is magnificent. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Literally a stone's throw from the women's gate for the prophet's mosque. The only downside was the room size. We had three single beds in a room that is typically only for a double bed. So there was little room to move. But we were there to maximize our time at the mosque and Medina in general. In hindsight I would've booked 2 rooms for three people. But I will be coming back to this hotel inshallah.

One of the best hotels near the Prophet's Mosque. The rooms are quite spacious, all the staff are also nimble if you need anything, the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets, drinking water, tea, coffee and others are done quickly. Eat three times a day served with a buffet, overall the taste was good. During five days there, some menus were not changed so I was bored with the taste.

I am currently staying at this hotel. We are a group of 14 people with 6 being children and 2 in wheelchairs. I must say we are having an incredible experience with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in in the whole of Saudia Arabia. Extremely friendly staff. (Unlinke most other hotels in saudia Arabia). Room service is fabulous, rooms always cleaned thoroughly, once again unlike other hotels we have stayed in. Lifts and other places are always seen being cleaned. Staff go over and beyond to cater for any needs. We have a large group of children. The children asked for chips. Within minutes chips were provided for the children. We are extremely impressed with the outstanding service. Keep it up and we will most definitely be visiting again Inshaallah. Highly recommend this hotel for both the cleanliness and excellent service. We have seen for ourselves as to why this hotel has the best reviews on all websites. Such as travel advisor and booking.com.

This has been one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Before Covid (a couple years ago) this hotel was top notch. But now (2022), they’ve excelled even more. The cleanliness, mask mandate, service, and it even smells so good here. If it was possible to give more stars, Dallah Taibah definitely deserves it. Thank you to all the staff and everyone that works here. You all made our stay a memorable one.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. We had contacted the hotel prior to reaching the location. They said they had rooms and will accept online payment via our travel agent. When we reached the hotel, they had 3 hustlers at the main entrance who didn't formally work for the hotel but were clearly in on the whole thing. The hotel refused our online payment and asked us to pay in cash - which we had to give out of our spending money. Then the 3 hustlers asked for money on top of the cash payment because they said we can't book unless they are paid. Obviously when traveling with family, we had no other option but to give in to these sneaky, gross demands. Because otherwise we didn't know if any other hotel would have availability + cost. After the extremely off-putting start with the check-in, we were taken to the welcome lounge to have some snacks which were horrible. It was like they were cooked 3 days ago and left in the pan. The rooms we asked for were two 3-bed bedrooms and one double bed bedroom. One of the bedrooms we got was originally had 2 single beds but they had forcefully fitted a third one in there. Which meant there was literally NO SPACE to place luggage, pray or even walk. We had to ask them to remove one chair so one less place to sit. The AC and light controls were hidden behind a lamp. No hooks behind the bathroom door to hang clothes. A broken window that didn't close and had cold air coming in constantly. The bedside lamp was fluctuating. NOTHING from the beginning was good or right about this. I'm never EVER coming here or recommending anyone to come here!

I made a reservation with them from America and they messaged me 2 days before my flight “Based on the occurrence of an emergency situation beyond our control, we deeply apologize to you, but the reservation will be canceled and the reservation amount paid by you will be refunded. We hope you will accept our apology and thank you very much for your understanding and trust in us Best Regards.. Reservations Department/ Fatima” There are no other hotels available and I’ll be stranded because the lack of their capability to keep my reservation.

This was my 2nd time in this hotel and my families 3rd. We were highly disappointed by the service, customer service and room size. Unfortunately, they have start cuting corners converted triple into quad rooms, we requested for connecting rooms in advance through our travel agent but they refused to give rooms together at check-in instead they have given us rooms at different floors which was very unprofessional, staff specially the lady lady manager was highly unprofessional and ot accommodating, bathrooms gives older look and feel, smells a lot. It is one of the hotels which was known for its service and hospitality but unfortunately, it is losing its charm.

Overall an amazing hotel. Only drawback would be it's quite a walk to the rawdah. However that walk can be done from inside the mosque. Best part is its very close to the women's prayer area. Another problem is lift. Getting lift during or after prayer time is impossible since there's only 3 lifts. This ofcourse can be avoided by leaving the hotel early and coming back a little late.

The only place I went to was the restaurant as I am not staying in the hotel so I am not very familiar with how the hotel works but from what I have heard they aren't very good at handling rooms and often exchange rooms without asking. The hotel was overall crowded so we had to use the emergency stairs or else we would have to wait for the elevator for a long time as mostly groups stay in the hotel. The food at the restaurant is fresh and tasty so I recommend going to the restaurant however the hotel itself is a no for me.

Title: A Culinary Delight and Outstanding Hospitality at Dallah Taibah Hotel Rating: ★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of staying at the remarkable Dallah Taibah Hotel during my visit to the Prophet Mosque, and I must say that the experience exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's exceptional buffet meals and the outstanding service provided by the restaurant manager, Mr. Abdul Qadir, supervisors Mr. Shaf, Haji, and their dedicated team truly made our stay a memorable one. Let's start with the culinary experience at Dallah Taibah. Every day, we were treated to a feast of mouthwatering dishes at the hotel's buffet. The quality and variety of the meals were simply outstanding. From traditional Arabian delicacies to international cuisines, the buffet catered to a diverse range of tastes and preferences. The food was always fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavors. The hotel's commitment to maintaining the highest standards in their culinary offerings was evident in every dish we savored. What truly set the buffet experience apart was the genuine warmth and hospitality exhibited by the restaurant staff, led by the remarkable Mr. Abdul Qadir. He was not only an exceptional manager but also a true connoisseur of fine dining. Mr. Abdul Qadir ensured that every guest's dining experience was nothing short of perfection. His attention to detail, courteous demeanor, and eagerness to cater to individual preferences were truly commendable. He went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere and made every guest feel valued. Assisting Mr. Abdul Qadir were supervisors Mr. Shaf and Haji, who exemplified professionalism and passion for their work. Their impeccable organizational skills and ability to anticipate the needs of guests were remarkable. They, along with their dedicated team, worked tirelessly to ensure that the buffet was always replenished, tables were promptly cleared, and guests were attended to with utmost care and efficiency. Their presence and attentive service added an extra layer of excellence to the dining experience. Beyond the culinary aspect, Dallah Taibah Hotel also provided us with a comfortable and luxurious stay. The rooms were tastefully appointed, featuring modern amenities and a soothing ambiance. The hotel's location in close proximity to the Prophet Mosque made it incredibly convenient for us to fulfill our spiritual obligations. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the premises were top-notch, reflecting the hotel's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. In conclusion, my stay at Dallah Taibah Hotel was truly unforgettable, thanks to the remarkable buffet meals and the extraordinary efforts of the restaurant manager, Mr. Abdul Qadir, supervisors Mr. Shaf and Haji, and their dedicated team. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unparalleled culinary experience and exemplary hospitality during their visit to the Prophet Mosque. Dallah Taibah Hotel has undoubtedly set a benchmark for excellence in the industry, and I cannot wait to return for another exceptional stay.

Stayed here for a few days before taking off to Mekah. Have to say, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is near the Masjid al-Nabawi, near a lot of shops and restaurants. Rooms are not that spacious but it can fit 4 people in my case. The service is great, very welcoming and nice too.

Great location, clean rooms nice furniture, good service, good breakfast. Would recommend with one caution: on our entire floor almost everyone was in a recurring locked-out situation because of the bad access locks for the rooms. Before reserving as then to permanently replace the locks. They would continue to send technicians which did not fix the issues. A lot of unnecessary trips to reception from your floor. Location is great for shopping and to Haram.

It's an absolutely amazing hotel. The service is 5* ++++. The location is really great. It's very close to Gate 25 for the ladies. The size of the rooms and bathrooms are a little small. However, the cleanliness of the place and quality of the service provided by the hotel and management make up for it. Parking is 60riyals per day. Their amazing service goes right onto the point of departure, where they bid you farewell from the parking lot with bottled water and some sweet treats.

Location, rooms, and service(especially) are superb. The only point of criticism which I would like to point out is the bathroom in our room; I felt that the bathroom did need a Change of tiles and lighting. Wonderful hotel, and excellent staff, and very fast service. Highly recommend their chicken pizza.

Their staff service is the best. Specially of you are taking a family 👪 with kids and you need something like toilet paper or food or cleaning or laundry they will response to you very quickly. There is a switch for water heater, you have to turn it on if you wnat warm water. In the middle if night we wanted something eat and everything was closed outside, but the hotels inner kitchen was open and they took our order. Breakfast was great, our package had breakfast in it. We did one laundry as we didn't want to pack smelly clothes in the suitcase, the price was reasonable and in one day delivery. When the cleaning staff came we wanted extra toiletries as we had kids, so that's was great too. Just one thing is that, the room may be bit smaller than the Mecca hotels, and if You want road/street views, talk to your travel agent prior to booking or the reception desk when checking in to give you, it may cost you extra during peak season. From the Masjid boundary it's only 3 mins walk from the hotel lobby.

We've had the most amazing experience in Dallah Taibah when we went in Feb 2019. Be it hospitality, service, response to request, room service or food...it was just too good! The food... breakfast...was the most amazing spread ever. It's not just about variety... but the taste... it was simply superb. They have seperate breakfast buffet for people from different countries... to cater to their tastebuds. The restaurant staff kept checking if we needed anything. They asked if we were happy with the food and if there was anything missing... they arranged for it immediately. The reception was very welcoming. Staff always smiling. The overall experience was too good. If there was a chance to rate it 10 stars..... I would.

Stayed here for 6 days, wonderful friendly staff. Nothing was an ask for them. Ideal if you have a family as the women section is close by. Only downside is they need to update the room keys. Lovely people would like to stay here again

Always expensive. In washroom water splashes while taking a shower although there's a separation glass door 🚪. Very close to the ladies entrance for the mosque . Room good. Reception staff very helpful , courteous and polite . A warm welcome with drink/ tea / snacks are appreciated. Housekeeping is very efficient and available.

It deserves a high rating, the location is special, the reception is great, the cleanliness is excellent, the cleaning staff is excellent, dealing with any problem is very fast and finding a very fast solution. In general, the staff and workers, from the smallest to the oldest, are treated in a classy and respectful manner, and I did not find it in any hotel I stayed in until this moment. They only need to strengthen the internet network inside the hotel.

The hotel is amazing, the stuff is exceptionally good, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast has very wide range. The house keeping staff was very efficient. The only downside was the lift, you’ll have to wait sometimes for more than 5-8 mins to get in the lift.

  • 5/5 Kashan P. 1 year ago on Google
Very unique experience. They stress on service which is usually bit rare in the hotels in the area especially the bigger chains. Offered Arabic coffee and fruits in the room at check in. Asked every now and then if everything was good. Rooms are quite decent. All in all good option and value for money.

I love everything abt this hotel. From its staff, to food and location... only thing they need to improve on is the lift system.... too slow.. had to resort taking stairs... which is good too..but not all the time

stayed here for 5 days 4 nights.. comfortable room & has complete facilities. the location is only 50 meters to Masjidil Nabawi.. many shops under the hotel such as clothing stores, food & mini market.. food that suits the taste of Southeast Asians. At night you can go to Medina Street Food which is located 20 meters from the hotel to try the food of Medina people. recommended👍🏻

Hello, I am trying to book two rooms and the number does not work, so I started with email and a point came where I almost agreed on booking but wanted to see if they could negotiate on price but I was told they are not available any more. They instead said they "Executive" are available. I have checked online on the website and it clearly shows me they are available. It looks like they are up-selling. I am unsure how the hotel itself would be if their phone does not work (can live with that) but booking people are not being honest even though pricing is higher compared to another 5 star hotel right close to it. Management should look at it! Thanks. Regards, Samir Idris

Not a good experience at all. Power cut for extended hours is understandable but having no back up plan for guests and leaving them stranded in dark suffocated rooms is not acceptable. The reception staff was not helpful at all, blaming the issue on electricity department but not even having a flashlight to provide to the guests. No light for guest rooms but apparently the lobby and restaurants were fully functional with bright lighting.

Good location. Generally good cooperative staff. Good food. Front desk staff is not very well informed but they try to cooperative. Very small area for w and shower. My room on second floor was very convenient for breakfast access and exit fm the hotel. Sofas in the lobby need to be replaced as their cushion has lost its utility. Shahd al madinah hotel next door is a bit cheaper with better lobby seating n coffee shop. But generally Dallah Taibah hotel is very good.

It might be a 4-star hotel, but gives you more than 5-star treatment. You get their attention, hospitality and love. Quite diverse staff. You can easily get around and get things done. Our 5 nights stay was amazing in the mid of a busy season, and they handled it smoothly.
