I really enjoyed it here, sat in the grounds, with my thoughts. Watching very dedicated respectful people come and go. Great tile work in the ceiling, and a lovely orange tree happily stood in the grounds.

I wanted to visit some remains of the Ottoman Empire. Sadly we haven't been taught much about them in our History books (which come from Britian) british O levels system. I found few traces of Ottomans and their value systems, uncorrupted pure Islam. Few books in English published by the government were very helpful and up to date with current problems of the Muslim ummah. It is a bit sad to see alcohol and urination after we go out of the mosque (perhaps from last night's hangouts) but it would be nicer if public respect such places, keep them free of filth and maintain their cleanliness within the vicinity. Sad to see lack of ulema in the area,I hope we new about some scholars or suffies in and around the mosques. Best regards 💕

Pleasantly located just back from the old town and running close to the open market is a beautiful ottoman mosque with lovely gardens and pleasant ambience. The Murat Paşa Mosque is an Ottoman mosque in the Muratpaşa borough of Antalya. It was commissioned by Grand Vizier Kuyucu Murad Pasha in 1570 and is covered with a high dome upon a ten-corner frame, with the inscriptions on its inner walls running all through the internal facade in a ribbon while presenting the most beautiful example of the Turkish-Seljuk art of calligraphy. The altar next to the marble pulpit worked with reliefs is a simple construction. The last congregation place is covered with three domes rising above pointed arches of colored stone on four round columns.

MashAllah, tranquility and full of satisfaction when I prayed there while visiting Antalya. Near Murat pasa tram station located is this masterpiece from Usmani era. Small mosque and I wish more worshippers visit to pray here. Nice imam masjid there with sweet voice. I would love to visit this mosque if I ever I get opportunity to visit Antalya.

I never went inside, but I've spent a few early mornings walking around the garden and listening to birds singing. Serene and beautiful nail that sticks the neighborhood to the sky.

Probably the most ancient building of the town. It was made back in 1220. Unfortunately, congregational prayers are not offered in the mosque which is a shame. Nevertheless, a well preserved historical place worth a visit.
