Expensive, pricey, but still a good burger. The price for an Outback Kangaroo Fillet is $36, Fries are $7, sauces $2/each, and a bottled beer is $13. Would I do it again, no. Was it satisfying, sure was. The staff are super friendly and I had a good time but It's too pricey for anything other than a one time deal. Don't buy your beer here.

Our tour guide recommended this place. We came a bit skeptical but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small but service is efficient, friendly and fast. We had the kangaroo and crocodile steak burgers, they were freshly prepared in front of us and with great ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Exploring Melbourne today I have stumbled in to a quaint little burger bar, Metro burgers 🍔. I have enjoyed great hospitality from the owner and his staff along with a delicious wagyu and bacon burger. If you are in Melbourne CBD looking for a decent burger, this is definitely a top pick.

Emu, kangaroo, Crocodile, Platypus… and can’t do for chicken. All on offer here at this cozy little burger joint. I went for the crocodile burger with chilli jam. Delivered quickly with fries on the side. Interestingly the crocodile was cooked to perfection and does taste awesome but I felt the chilli jam took away some of how good croc meat is by itself. The burger was sensational though and we could all eat a little more crocodile. And kangaroo mind you. Feel like a burger? Forget Grilled or Hungry Jacks and come here instead.

I was looking for a good burger, and I was not disappointed! I walked in planing on getting a Southern fried chicken burger however I heard costumers talking about how yummy the lamb burger was so I decided to give it a try and I was blown away with how good it was. The lamb was extremely fresh and tender pieces that melted in your mouth and cooked to perfection( the chef asks how you like it too!) It was well worth the price and the portion was large and I struggled to finish it but I had to because it was so yummy!

We tried kangaroo burger, wagyu beef burger, southern fried chicken burger and sweet potato fries. They used kangaroo steak and the meat was incredible tender which really surprised us. Wagyu beef burger was also impressive, they cooked medium-well. The service was friendly, very good experience.

Best burger in Melbourne❤❤ the bun is very fluffy and the wagyu beef patty is cooked medium well, super juicy! Also amazed by the delicious crocodile burger, the chili jam inside matches so well. This is a tough rating.... The burger was great! It was one of the best ones O have had (and i have had a lot)! The only marginal improvement point was that the meat could have been more on the pink side but that's personal taste. The rest was spot on, everything! The place itself is in a stylish little alley and the service is great too. The reason for 4/5 is the price. A burger (a great one) and a soft drink should not be over $30, sorry guys, that you will have to adjust in my view. I will be back!... Unless my financial advisor or girlfriend finds out about the price.

If you want to try exotic meats local to Australia in a burger- a really amazing burger come here! The chef is a brilliant man from china who makes every burger with finesse of fine dining! The only down side, fries were over salted. But he will change that if you just ask for less as you order. Come check it out. (Closed on Mondays.)

Being American, I usually consider the bar to be on the floor when it comes to burger joints in Australia, yet some places (like the all too popular Grill’d) somehow tend to always get it wrong. Metro Burgers is decidedly not one of these bastardised burger joints, and whilst being wholeheartedly Australian inspired, with beetroot and crocodile (!!) on their burgers, they manage to keep the spirit of a classic burger joint. I got the Metro Wagyu Burger with bacon, and my boyfriend got the Metro Supreme. The bun was perfectly toasted, but still incredibly soft, the patty was juicy, and the bacon was perfectly crispy without being too tough for the burger. I think this is one of the best burgers I have had in my life. However, the best part of Metro Burgers isn’t even the burger - it was the top tier thickshake that I got along with the meal. Topped high with whipped cream and sprinkles it was a classic milkshake, another thing that most Aussie joints tend to get horribly, horribly wrong. Overall, I was very pleased (and a little surprised) by the quality of this place - another W for DeGraves Street.

I've never tasted anything nice like this! Metro burgers have the best meals in town as well as the best (most polite and patient) service. I was very hungry and very-very cranky (walked around the city for 2 hours looking for decent food, telling myself that the last place on Earth this should happen is Melbourne, for God's sake!). And suddenly by magic Metro Burgers caught my eye. A lucky day!

Was here last night, and oh my lord! I have not had a burger this GOOD. And my partner & I eat burgers a lot! We both ordered the metro supreme and... Just delicious! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! Oh and before I forget.. the shake... If you're thinking of ordering one, stop thinking DEFINITELY order it! It was like my childhood 💗 no one makes shakes like that anymore, no one!

Stopped by to have the Emu burger and it's was delicious! Every bite was perfect! Does not come with fries which is a bit disappointing (probably the American in me) but worth it nonetheless! My travel rule is to not go to the same place twice but I will make an exception here, hope to be back to try the kangaroo and the gator burger! The place is smaller than I expected but not bad at all! It is in a nice like alley street with a nice sitting area to people watch! (If you're still hungry after there's a donut place right across the street!) My waitress, which I forgot to catch her name, was friendly and on point! Can't wait to go again! (Fingers crossed!!) **Went back for the Kangaroo burger!! Again, was not disappointed! Great service! And even better food!

We visited Melbourne city a couple of weeks ago and my daughter remembered a corner burger joint we visited a good 5 years ago, when she was 5 . So, I suggested we go for a walk and see if it’s still there and she said yes. We orders a kids burger meal and I ordered double Pattie burger and fries. Had the veggie burger and it was cooked to perfection and the bun was perfect to hold it all together! Chips were well cooked and seasoned! Defs recommended and want to return when we can

Cosy little burger joint. Tried the metro burger. The meat is really juicy which makes a good combination with the soft bun and all the other ingredients. Chips are not overly seasoned with salt. Good for grabbing a quick meal before heading to a concert in the Art Centre.

Metro Burgers you've done it again. Another mouthwatering, flavoursome burger. If burgers are your thing, then you have got to give these guys a try. The bun is soft and super fresh, the lettuce crispy, the burger is cooked to perfection, it's juicy and full of flavour. The sauce is just enough to tie it all together, for what is just an all over tastebud explosion.

Came to this restaurant specifically to try the kangaroo burger, left amazed. The burger was superbly made, since it was my first time trying kangaroo meat, it resembles the taste of beef, with a hint of a gamey taste, texture wise it was a bit stringy but tasty and juicy. Will definitely recommend if you're around the area. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about this place was 5 stars. The atmosphere was so comfortable and inviting, the service was fantastic and the food was some of the best I’d ever had. You’d be an idiot to go anywhere else for a burger
