No wonder why franchises food taste are guaranteed. Wonderful food except I found a hair from there.. how unlucky me. Whenever I go to restaurants, hair is only found on my food!!!!!! When I told two waiters about hair no sorry, just took my food back, and I even saw one waitress was laughing with my dish. Seriously I do not understand what is funny. Anyway, foods were very good in my opinion. Even though foods were Served very quickly and one of my prawns was very cold like stayed in the fridge for ages. And burger buns were very cold as well. Maybe they don't know burger buns supposed to be warm. It wasn't busy at all, but they were understaffed or needed better staff. I will still give you 3 stars because my noodle was good even though no apologize for finding hair on my dish, and service very poor to forget our icecream even we had to ask twice. My boyfriend would love to give -2 stars if there was option. So meet in the middle, overall 2 stars. I think my score is very generous

I went to this place with lots of expectations last week and ordered a plate of Hokkien Fried Beef Hor Fun with Gravy 濕炒牛河 (Wok fried beef in thick flat rice noodles with choy sum, ginger, spring onion and soy gravy. Green chili pickle served on the side; $18.50). For a restaurant situated on such a prime location, it could definitely do better. When I was inside, two things stuck me - the dull decor and a slight damp stench emanating from everywhere. Post ordering, I was shown to a table, which bore the marks of the previous diners; meaning it wasn't cleaned properly and it smelled. After waiting for around 10-12 minutes, the dish finally arrived. I've mixed feelings about it. It looked just as in the menu. For the first couple of bites, I couldn't understand the flavour. The beef pieces were ok, but could've been done better. The noodles themselves were actually good but the most interesting thing was that there were pockets of flavours throughout the plate. It didn't taste uniform throughout. Also, no salt and pepper on the tables. I wasn't satisfied with the whole thing. Their other dishes might be better, but I'm not sure if I'll be visiting this place again.

The food comes out really quick - but not in a good way, my chicken chop was lukewarm at best so clearly not cooked to order, disappointed as Pappa Rich was much better in the past. Really hard to get any service with staff standing around not paying attention and the whole place just needs a good refurbishment, like the menus look so tired now With so many Malaysian restaurants around please try to take this constructively to improve !

Nice mango drink with lychee pieces inside also. The chicken curry was mild and enjoyable, not too spicy to blow your head off.

Rice was perfectly cooked. Food tasted good. Hainanese chicken tasted good too. Chicken portion were small compared to the menu’s picture. Not a fan of chicken soup it came with. But overall was okay. My all time fave is Roti, very soft but crispy too perfect with sambal. We ordered Milo for drink. Taste very different from store bought, like it. Staff were very polite. We could see they were trying there best to make everyone’s experience better. Service was very slow. It took 15-20 min for the food to arrive mostly due to low staffing. Thank you for your effort wait staffs. 3 ⭐️ due to lack of proper management.

Visited this place on a rainy day. Seemed busy comparatively. They got plenty of seating outside as well as inside. The place definitely needs an upgraded. Very outdated ambience. Ordering similar to other Papparich outlets. Food was alright.

Ate Dry Beef noodles with Beef Balls, Tripe, Beef Tendons with White Radish soup today at PappaRich QV Building. Service was fast and the staff very helpful. The dish costs $19.50 and is very delicious. Tastes authentic. The restaurant was full and very comfortable. Will be back. Appreciate how the staff and management bend backwards to give the customers a good experience

I ordered Nasi Lemak with beef rendang. To be honest, my expectations were very high so when I saw my dish and tried, I felt that the flavors were quite milder than I had in Brisbane. My Malaysian colleague ordered Asam laksa and he seemed to enjoy it very much. Maybe I picked the wrong choice. The 3 colour tea was yummy.

Big shout to the staffs who allowed me to wait for my colleagues whilst they’re getting busier. The food is yummy however my crispy chicken was served cold reason it’s no longer crispy. Wish they could accept bookings. Cheers!

I did order chicken rice, chicken satay, prawn dumpling and roti. Everything were nice except the prawn dumpling as they use a frozen one which is quite make me disappointed. Roti was very good with a strong butter aroma.

Quick and friendly service, delicious food for those who like it spicy, or not (me), generous servings, unique cool drinks and desserts, comfortable surroundings. Good value. Outdoor dining area looking onto QV Square.

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always wearing a smile. The food was not only delicious but also showcased the culinary expertise of the chef. Overall, a highly recommended dining destination for those seeking both excellent service and great-tasting dishes.

Had Papa fried rice noodle with prawn and chicken for lunch. Food was great but the receptionist English was hard to get with her strong accent.

Poor service, staffs are inexperienced and rude. Their apologies were not genuine when i gave them my feedback on the spot. The female staff kept cutting me off saying she'll report this to the chefs. She didn't care at all when i told them i was going to write them a bad review. She replied with a "okay!" Their menu advertised sunny side egg for the chicken chop and it came out as fully cooked egg ring. When i complained to the male staff...he says they only serve cooked eggs. He asked if i wanted a refund and i should've said yes (not knowing how poor the customer service was later on). I asked for a lemon to squeeze my plate of food and the male staff gave me lemon slices. You couldn't just tell me that you guys dont do lemon wedges and that if i was okay to use lemon slices or you'll cut me one if i really want one? You should've interacted with me because i didnt have to have it and you just made yourself look silly. I may be whinging over an egg and lemons but customer service and honesty is important. This is what makes customers come back even if your food is average. We're here to pay for what we ordered. Don't sell us something we don't want. That's it. I regret eating here so much. Will not be returning to this place anytime soon. Thank you for reading.

Bean sprouts with dried fish was a little too oily. Sago with pandan pudding and Gula Melaka was delicious.

The dishes all turned up randomly with four people at our table receiving mains at different times, not too bad really. But the entrees all arrived after the mains and the chips arrived after we finished the meal. The meal I had was essentially just noodles and beef DRENCHED in a beef gravy. They were swimming.

You come here for the good food and the food is great! Staff are friendly but run off their feet. They need to employ more staff to serve everyone. Loads of people waiting and the staff struggle to take orders, seat people, serve the food delivery chaps, clean tables and take payments.

We visited this restaurant recently, arriving at 8:30 PM, well before their 9:30 PM closing time. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. The staff seemed unwelcoming from the start, rushing us to place our order due to the impending kitchen closure. While my 2-year-old was exploring the menu, a staff member abruptly took it away, displaying a lack of patience. Placing my drink on a chair prompted another rude interaction. I acknowledge my mistake but found their response unnecessarily condescending. Throughout the meal, we felt uncomfortable as the staff continuously stared at us. My suggestion would be for the restaurant to consider not accepting customers within an hour or two of closing if they find it challenging to maintain a welcoming atmosphere during that time. Improving customer service and communication would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Food were great and arrived in a timely manner. However, the restaurant remains so cold inside during winter because they had to keep the door open. Unsure what made them do that but it was a really uncomfortable experience. Would not recommend during winter. I hope you can take on this feedback and make some changes.

Been going to PappaRich QV since University 12 years ago. Food tastes consistent with Malaysian dishes and satisfies our cravings when we're away from home. Even during pandemic the food quality is the same. Highly recommend the chicken laksa.

I’d always thought Pappa Rich was a pizza place so I was pleasantly surprised that it’s in fact a Malaysian restaurant. Woo hoo - my favourite food. On a Tuesday at lunch hour, this place was busy with diners and takeaway. The menu is extensive and although dishes are often repeated throughout the overly large printed pages, the photos will make your mouth water. I ordered a Pappa Fried Mee Goreng (with no seafood), an iced fresh lemon honey drink and plain roti. You write your choices on a notepad and that’s sent to the kitchen. My lunch was on the table within 10 minutes and certainly looked appetising. Alas, there were prawns in the Mee Goreng. Fortunately I’m not allergic, I’m just not a seafood fan. So please, if you have an allergy, make the staff aware. Eating out has become more expensive and at $28.90 for a lunch it’s time to reconsider my dining choices. At least I was so full I just had fruit and yoghurt for dinner at home that night. Notes: staff were great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Kids welcomed. Good portion sizes. Good accessibility for all diners. I look forward to exploring the menu in the future. #thewanderingreviewer #papparichmelbourne #papparichaustralia #papparichqv @papparichaus #meegoreng #malaysianfood #malaysiancafes

Visited PappaRich in a party of four. Good selection of foods with vegetarian options available. Staff brought out one dish very quickly but then the rest took quite a while and we’re all very staggered, with the last meal coming well after the first meal had been consumed and then the dumplings came after the main meals had been served. We also were given another table’s food and not our last meal so everything was a bit all over the place but flavours were nice and food was all enjoyed. Just could have been a better serving experience. Surcharge on a Sunday is also crazy to me. If you can’t afford to be open normally on a Sunday maybe don’t be open. Don’t make customer pay for more if you’re only going to give average service.

Pricey for Malaysian food but I have to admit we were impressed with the service. They had 3 floor staff to cover the entire restaurant on Labour day Monday. Service was good, all the staff did their best to be polite and smiled even though it was incredibly busy. Food tasted great. I enjoyed my Nasi Lemak and my partner enjoyed her Asam Laksa. The dessert was ok but nothing outstanding. Price is on the dearer side for Malaysian food to be honest. But if we’re pushed for time and want Malaysian food, I’d come back.

Been here multiple times in previous years as it’s an easily accessible place that’s great for groups. Although service is generally fast, the taste of the food is average and the prices are a bit too high for what we get.

PAPPARICH, Melbourne 📍🇲🇾 It was my first time trying the Nasi Lemak burger from @papparichaus and it sure did not disappoint! The last time I had a Nasi Lemak burger was from maccas in SG 😊 I’m so thrilled we can now find one here in Melbourne from tomorrow onwards for a limited time! 😍🍔🙌🏻💕 . For those keen you will be able to order a Nasi Lemak burger with a side of crispy chicken skin from ALL stores across @papparichaus from 29th March - FYI it’s a crispy fried chicken burger🍗 , Cucumber slices, Peanuts, anchovies, spicy sambal, delicious fried egg, combined in a soft bun. 🤤 prepare for a mess but a super satisfied tummy!! ❤️ . We also ordered the Char Kway Teow (good ‘wok hey’), beef rendang roti canai, chicken satay skewers, crispy chicken skin and their Hot Teh Tarik & Lemon tea 🤗 Very yum & comforting. The Teh Tarik Boba Soft Serve is also a must try. No photo because we ate it so quickly 😆 will get one next time. .

Service is pretty average. Food is not as good as I expected, would rather go to other Malaysian restaurants before I go here again. Serving size is not that big for the price. The atmosphere inside feels like you're eating in a fast food court rather than a restaurant.

The Nasi Lemak Burger is back. Jam packed with flavours from the sambal, and you can't go wrong when there's fried chicken, fried egg, anchovies, peanut and cucumber sandwiched within. Get the crispy chicken skin on the side to complete your meal. Do try out other Malaysian delicacies such as the Chicken Satay and Seafood Pao Fan too, and of course quench your thirst with Papparich's Delicious Concoctions.

Food is good and value for money. Ultimate Asian comfort food! Prata was soft and freshly cooked and not bland. Beef rendang was super tender too and the curry was just the right amount of spiciness.

Menu is surprisingly more varied than the Highpoint branch. Service was pretty efficient and food was delicious, good portion as well. I would consider coming back more often.

PappaRich offered casual Malaysian/Indian-influenced meals at reasonable prices. The food quality had been relatively consistent over the years and so was the efficient quick service. My favourite was the hainanese chicken rice paired with congee.

Very happy with our meals. We ordered the nasi goreng, fried chicken and fried egg, and the pappa chicken rice. Both delicious meals, full of flavour. I highly recommend their drinks as well. We ordered the ribena melon and mango mania. Very refreshing and tasty.

Enjoyed the drinks, dumplings, butter and kaya toast, and the Wat Tan Hor (was okay), but the chicken rice left a lot to be desired. Particularly the rice itself managed to be overcooked but there were several grains that were still hard. The soup that accompanied the chicken rice was okay. I recommend the veggie dumplings. The service was fast, waited like 10-15 minutes and the entrees came out, soon followed by the mains. The service was pretty nice too :)

We went there few times and the food always good but for the price we expect little bit better with the service also plastic cup, no water bottle is a minus.

Simple but excellent quality and taste! Good value for money. Great place to try a wide variety of Malaysian cuisine. I tried roti Telur with Curry chicken with Pappa Mocha + Icecream, and I must say that food tastes delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and professional staff. I would come back again.

Good food and fast service. Waitstaff were fast. However we order OJ, the quantity was half of the glass was bubbles only. Not a reasonable price to be paid.

Malaysian cuisines at its very best! This place stands out when it comes to variety of flavourful dishes straight out of the kitchen of Malaysia. Their authentic Chicken Curry is a must try and so is the Nasi Goreng Fried Rice combo. The Milk Tea was amazing.
