Juke's more like Puke's

I went here for a surprise grad celebration for my friend on the 22/05 and I can't express how fantastic my experience was. I'm going to level with you and say I was having one of those days from absolute hell, all my plans were failing, things going wrong, you get the jist. However, the staff at jukes went above and beyond with their fantastic service, great drinks and just overall amazing vibe. They were accommodating and patient even when I probably didn't make their night too easy haha. We most definitely will be back, I've recommended Jukes to all my friends and family all because of your immaculate staff. Keep up the great work guys! 🎓🥰

What was supposed to be a fun exciting birthday for myself quickly turned into a disaster. Firstly I'd like to start with your staffing team they were disgustingly disrespectful on this matter who need to choose better wording and have some knowledge or understanding about fixings. We had to go through a process that maybe moving forward you should work on changing because clearly your microphone guidelines are an easy target for ripping off people who use your Jukes Karaoke facility a simple way of undercover fraud. We had to deal with an unfixed microphone which you literally cannot tell me you did your maintenance job properly, or even got appropriate people to install this stand up microphones correctly, or even got a proper professional installation check list before sending people into a booth where you already know the equipment was faulty and tried to make it the next man's loss and problem by charging us with an equipment damage fee of $200 resulting into your own staff member saying they had to fix the same microphone beforehand on a session that happened before ours. So please explain why we got hit with a fee charge of damaged equipment that was already an issue to begin with. An appropriate business would have closed that room off until the damaged property are fixed before you make it the next man's problem and ripping people off by charging them microphone fees. The fact that I even had to watch your staff member take out the microphone and use the tools they apparently tried to use to fix it with was already a concern. I am a trade person who works with fixings and I can tell you now if I didn't put in a fixing correctly and it's not safely checked I could hurt someone thats my job. The fact that your staff had the nerve to say it's because of my partners weight the equipment broke is absolutely disgustingly that's bad wording for "fat shaming" I asked your own staff to show me how much "weight or force" it must require for one to pull these stand up straight microphone to pull out of the floor and man did we struggle. Your proper fixed microphone in one of your small room didn't even move. Raising massive concerns to your rip off fraud you must be pulling on all your customers hitting them with a microphone fee. (Is it pick a room with broken equipment and get hit with a fee charge your motto) Tell me if our microphone was so well fixed in our room why would it come out? Did my partner just turn into the over night Hulk? You're a pathetic business brand who literally rip people off because you would rather profit the money instead of hiring professional people who know how to work with fixings instead you get your low paid staff to handle your unprofessional work. It is disgusting that you would even charge people for your own cheap business mistakes. Then not only once we left your staffing team have the nerve to call us back after this whole frustrating process and fat shaming my partner body weight which mind you suffers from body weight issues already do they then tell us we never returned there microphones and want to charge us $1000 on top of this. I returned to your Karaoke Bar to show them exactly where we left the microphones and which staff member we handed it too your then unprofessional security refusing me from going in after your own staffing called me. Read it again your staffing team called us back because they failed to look properly and needed to check video footage to see if we returned your $1000 microphones. You are definitely a corrupt business who clearly love ripping off customer commit actual fraud with your shocking stand up fixed microphones which are clearly a way to cash the microphone fee charge. Time to change guidelines and standards because we will definitely be taking this further since your to busy watching video footage that we have no access to and creating your own version of force and pulling fixings apparently through video footage we can work this out.

It's such a fun place! Love the onion rings with the elaborate feathers on top. They have awesome jello shots! James was so friendly and nice. We'd love to visit again!

I was on hold for nearly an hour during my booked session, instagram dmed, facebook messaged, emailed and still had no response for a long time. The website is very confusing and the service has been awful. it was really stressful trying to contact. I dislike giving negative reviews but this experience has been infuriating and unhelpful. i thought we were given a refund further on in the night but wasn't..instead i had to contact the bank for not receiving the service.

Really fun place and had a great time! The onion rings were the best ever! Love the ambience and James, the manager was nice and friendly to us. We were recommended to try Jukes by our friend Jass. It was as good as she mentioned and we would love to visit again sometime soon :)

Had a fantastic night of mini golf and karaoke! The room was so clean and was such a vibe! The music was easy to play and sing along to. A huge shout out to the staff and especially Meg. She was so polite and made our night that much more enjoyable. Thank you for the great night the whole team at Jukes, and a huge thumbs up to Meg.

What started out as a wonderful night with some family quickly turned sour when it came time to pay our bill. I requested a copy of the bill as the initial amount suggested seemed quite high, upon looking I could see a staff tip equating to almost the same amount as the ordered items. After holding the staff to account, it was insisted that it was all a mistake and that I was overreacting. Regardless of whether the tip was added to the wrong bill and was from another customer, or it was blatant theft - I feel the manager's response and way he brushed off how disappointed I was, was outrageous. There was no attempt made to provide a reasonable excuse, except to say over and over again that it was a misunderstanding and a mistake. That's all, a mistake. In a time which is hard enough to get by, this skylarking is something I might expect from a alley way karaoke bar in Phnom Penh not in Crown Melbourne. If you do decide to take your family here, make sure you order through the QR code and not at the bar or risk being taken advantage of.

Really disappointed in the room. Only 3 mics between 13 people. Mic volumes were so low my screaming voice was louder than what the mic produced. One of the microphones on the mini stage kept having feedback problems and high pitch noises so deafening we decided it was better to just turn it off leaving us with only two quiet mics. That mic also was broken and we couldn’t adjust the height, so I had to squat awkwardly while singing. The karaoke machine doesn’t even have an option to turn on the original singer’s voice to sing along with them. Other karaoke places like KBOX are much worth your money, we had like 4-5 mics for all 6 of us. And the prices INCLUDED a drink and the machines had more options to turn on the original singer’s voice Staff came in halfway and started clearing our glasses when we were not even done drinking. Around 4 of my friends didn’t bring ID and weren’t allowed in which is understandable. But I had already paid for them. Disappointed their refund policy doesn’t allow for ‘change of mind.’ It was my special 18th birthday, but it surely didn’t feel very special :/

Accidentally booked an earlier time than intended due to their confusing website layout, tried calling their "customer support" line for an HOUR and nobody answered once, STILL waiting on a response. If I had to describe Jukes to a friend I'd honestly just call it Pukes, their customer service is disgusting... Edit: staff only contacted us after we contacted our bank to cancel the charge

Booked Jukes for my nephews birthday celebration. Customer Service by Hannah & Ryan was absolutely fantastic. We booked studio 9, cool modern disco vibe and very clean. The Bar itself has an awesome atmosphere and we ordered food & cocktails. Bonus that all food was delicious well made & presented. Cocktails we’re absolutely amazing! All staff were friendly & attentive. We all enjoyed ourselves and will be back again. Thank you Jukes Team!

Karaoke place was pretty standard but the bar experience was kinda lacking. They couldn’t do any classic cocktails which was kinda disappointing. The bar gave a very corporate vibe where they only did things that profited them instead of maybe providing a balance of what customers would want and profit. The service however was decent with the staff being pretty friendly.

It was so fun, until we were awkwardly kicked out. We had a reservation from midnight to 1am. With 20 minutes to go(timer displayed on the TV), the lights came on and the music went quiet. We asked what the issue was and they said they were closing. We paid $150 for barely 40 minutes which was suppose to be an hour. The security guard rudely came in our room mid song and said 'get out now, we're closed'. A bit disappointing way to end a hens night! Staff said it is in the 'terms and conditions' but we didn't see this anywhere. Why have a reservation time till 1am when you're not going to abide by it?

Monty, the wonderful human who served us truly made our experience one to remember tonight. He was personable, hilarious, and really knew how to have a good time. His vibe and personality is extremely well suited to this business, and he deserves a dang pay rise. My one criticism? He’s just too much of a good time, and now he has ruined every other business for me, as you just can’t get that kind of service anywhere else. Shine on Monty, you bright burning star of joy.

This Karaoke bar shares the same space with Holey Moley, the indoor mini golf. They have multiple individual rooms that can fit small or big groups and you hire by the hours. The drinks are reasonably priced for the casino and service is friendly too. Unfortunately, the room we were in had a sticky table. There's a limited selection of asian songs and no functionality to turn on the voice from the songs itself, so if no one is singing the room felt quiet.

The security guards on Sunday night 7th were amazing can definitely recommend.

Incredibly FUN night! We laughed until our faces were hurting! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs, they joined in our singing and were so efficient. We were running late and they rescheduled us and then we went back for another hour because everybody was having so my fun! The Karaoke rooms were cleverly designed and music was playing in the bar as you wait. Be seeing you again and keep up the great work. Thx Jaydon and the Team! All the staff, from the security, the guy at the piano and the bar people, to the decor and the little kareoke rooms were sensational. It was like , we were actually, long lost friends and they were welcoming us back. It was my first time there, and i will definitely be telling everybody about what a rockin joint this is! We had a fabulous night, thankyou Juke's!

I recently discovered this place and have been 3 times in the last 3 months. Exhaustive song list, easy to use and search for what you want. The room price along with the food and drinks are reasonably priced. There’s some great cocktails on offer and entertainment in the bar on a Friday and Saturday night if you don’t want the night to be over. The staff are great, super friendly and often very happy to belt out a tune while they’re providing room service.

My daughter wanted to do karaoke for her 16th birthday. We booked at Jukes and the staff were so friendly. My daughter then had to shift the day and they were so accommodating. The venue is clean, modern and very vibey. The rooms are brilliantly decorated and immaculate. The technology is also very good. It was such a great experience from end to end

Really great customer service and friendly staff! Went late for our 8-10pm booking and they were really accommodating and despite closing at 10pm, gave us an extra 15minutes till 10.15 so we could get the most out of our session :) really cosy and clean rooms as well!

The layout of the place was vibrant with colour but the mic quality was cheap, sound system average, not great sound proofing...

Staff were really rude, 2 males (I think one was manager) and one with long hair. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to be dismissed and treated horribly. Rooms smelt horrific, would be nice if they used air freshener.

Riley is potentially the most iconic human being to walk the planet. They instantly made us feel welcome and, upon request, sang all the rules and instructions to us with a voice only Miss Mariah could compete with. Will go back just to try and befriend this legend.

Jack was an absolute legend, the best bartender I have ever had. He deserves at least $10 more an hour. Literally amazing. I love him. Seriously give this bloke more money.

Had an absolute blast at Juke’s karaoke! The rooms are awesome, filled with fun props and cool decorations. Not to mention the huge list of songs available to sing your heart out to! The staff were so friendly and accomodating. There was an issue with our room’s screen and they promptly moved us to a new working room and gave us free shots on the house! Couldn’t be happier with our experience. Definitely recommend for a fun night out with friends!

Me and 4 other friends visited the other night for karaoke. Super unique venue, amazing music and good fun all round. Ellyn was super accomodating, friendly and a great hostess. She made the night extremely enjoyable and we wouldn’t have had such a great night without her. Will definitely be coming back again soon :)

Wanted to give a big shoutout to Mac (Matt??) who had the best customer service we’ve ever had. He was so friendly and went out of his way to get us a karaoke room for our sons birthday who loves singing. He made my son feel so special, even sung a duet with him when he said he was nervous. Can’t say thank you enough- he hasn’t stopped singing Frozen since we left but my husband doesn’t do Hans’ part of the duet justice quite like Mac did. An unforgettable night, will definitely be back.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and had the most amazing experience from a lovely young lady named Meg who was on her second bar tending shift. She was courteous, kind and friendly. Lots of people skills and took the time and energy to engage in conversations and made the effort to go above and beyond. Could not recommend highly enough! Will definitely come again!

A fab evening! We were in Studio 10 with 9 people - room for a dance as we sung along but not overwhelming. And we had a great little view out of the window. We had a stage too which was great fun! And the wait staff were also fab - singing along each time they delivered drinks to our room. I can't wait for another excuse to come back.

Amazing place, employees are very welcoming and warm especially Razz, Monty, Locky and Jack! Karaoke machine was very user friendly and very spacious. The drinks were very cute as well, they have rubber ducks! What’s there not to love?!

We attended Duke to go to their karaoke rooms and escape room. The entire experience was so much fun all of the staff are very engaging and polite. Only negative is they won’t serve you a Cosmo ha ha they have a small range of cocktails and it’s a unique fun experience

We had such a great night here on 9/12. Firstly, Meg (our hostess) was fabulous! She was fun, accommodating and knew exactly what needed to be done - she needs a raise. The music selection was fabulous and mostly extremely current. The bar staff were fun and efficient, even when busy. Great drinks and food.

We booked Jukes for a Saturday night birthday bash and it was pretty fun, although we didn't realise upon booking that the time was 18+ so we had to leave behind a younger (16 yo) guest (we had a hotel room they could hang in so all cool). The staff were lovely and they bought drinks (ordered via app) quite quickly considering how busy they were. The chicks toilet floor was as slippery as hell and it stunk. But you're going for drinks and singing (not loos) so you'll enjoy it if you love amazing cocktails and bad singing!

Great place if you have a group of 9+ adults. The room was really big and it had more than 2 microphones which is great. Drinks selection and food was up there. Would definitely come back. Would recommend to book 4 hrs as 2 hr slots are never enough for karoke.

So much fun! Me and my friend came for a last minute late time karaoke and we managed to get a room! They had a great choice of music, unfortunately no anime openings thought .10/10 would recommend, will totally bring more people next time

A great way to bond with friends. Vex was a great attendant, they were so kind and made us feel really welcomed. Everyone who brought us drinks was friendly. From start to finish it was a great experience with all staff.

Adding as a reply to Jukes Kareoke. It's a bit disappointing to hear that you know the wifi is an issue and will cause disruptions. You are a business that provides Kareoke. And if you can't correctly because of a known issue, that's just not right. ________________________________ The staff were fantastic. The rooms were cool and the atmosphere was nice. However the Kareoke heavily relies on the internet working and it just dropped out all the time. It was minutes waiting for songs to load. Searching songs took forever. And we had the whole system cut out multiple times. Unfortunately the set up is just unreliable with the current program and internet issues in crown. The staff were lovely though and we could either get a refund on an hour, or Kareoke for another hour. The selection of songs was a bit lacking as well. There were a lot of songs missing from artists. And if you were looking for any K-pop, K-pop, anime songs, it was super lacking. Overall a nice place, but has some major technical issues. Drinks were cool though.

No matter if you're a beginner, a pro or somewhere in between, there is something for everyone to belt it out. Songs can be searched up by name and results come back almost immediately, and playlists are available to get started. Pick some, or even play all of them, you'll still have a blast! The main draw to this venue is by far the atmosphere, you just can't get any better than the splashy themed rooms and bar! Here's the best part, this venue also accepts karaoke vouchers from Holey Moley, because this venue also has Holey Moley next door! So if you really want to double the fun, Holey Moley is right there waiting for you to tee off. And don't forget, the staff are friendly as always, with Alex (HM Pro) in particular giving me the best 1 hour karaoke experience possible! Once again, I thank the entire Holey Moley and Juke's team for making my belt out the best possible experience. Thanks once again, from your ever loyal Fun Pass holder DNC52.

Very cool and clean rooms for private karaoke. Drinks service was quick and accurate. Staff are friendly and approachable, especially Vex, whose vibe elevated the night.

Went to Jukes for my birthday and was hoping for a fun night. We got there and already the place seemed chaotic with no clear line of where to check in. We arrived early (as advised) and assumed we would have time to order drinks for the room and possibly even select songs. Instead, we were immediately taken to our room where the timer was started. The app was having issues, so we ended up losing over 10 minutes of our session just trying to order drinks. The drinks didn't end up arriving until over half way through the session so by the time we finished karaoke we were still on our first round. The rooms themselves were average. A couple of hat's thrown on a couch don't really create much of an atmosphere. There's also no backing tracks (which in fairness they had advised on the night), which meant it was pretty awkward for a majority of the songs. That combined with 2 mics, a mic stand and a couple of tables didn't really create any kind of unique experience- honestly a Spotify playlist in your shower would be more of a karaoke vibe than this place. On top of everything else, having the thermostat set to 22°c in such a tiny room when you're meant to be dancing and singing is insane. We didn't order a sauna! Overall, left feeling rushed, sweaty and disappointed.

The atmosphere was great, staff are super friendly and a fun time was had! The only thing that could have been better was the karaoke song choices available (we were hankering for some Bonnie Tyler "I need a hero" and some good old Paul Kelly!) But I understand that it comes down to licensing and stuff. If you're into karaoke, then this is one of the nicest places you could go!

Had a great night here. Staff are lovely, rooms are clean and there is a massive selection of songs. You can also order using the machine in the room so you don't need to leave the fun to go grab drinks/food from outside, you can have it brought to you! Prices are super reasonable as well. Will 100% be returning.

Had an amazing time. The rooms were great and they had a huge selections of songs to sing that were easy and quick to find.

For $19 per person per hour it was great fun and with a large spacious room and a huge variety of music including bollywood songs! Highly recommend this place, service was great and drinks were appropriately priced for Crown.

This place could be a blast. Unfortunately in our case we found that drinks service to the rooms is super slow, and the staff just don't seem to care. We booked a room for an hour before closing (I paid - it was more than $300). I ordered a beer tower at 35 mins to go, and it was delivered with 7 mins left and barely a murmur of apology. Sure enough we get kicked out of the room 7 mins later with half a beer tower later and they want us to hand it back half full and head out so they can close. I suggested to the manager on duty that we could either come to an arrangement on a partial refund since I k ow they are a word of mouth business or we could not and I'd leave without incident. They chose the latter, which unfortunately speaks to me of the attitude here. It's a shame, because I took some awesome photos to go with this review, but I'm not going to post them or the original review I had planned. Be aware that this place condones slow service, and seems happy to rip off a customer who pays good money for service. It's a bloody shame.

Awesome, lively, thoughtful staff. Great service. Cool, funky atmosphere. Fantastic karaoke room with 2 hand held mics and 1 standing mic on a podium. Delicious variety of drinks served in funky trophies and disco bowls. Was the highlight of my hens! Even got a complimentary cocktail, a personalised note and vouchers for holy moly nearby.

Awesome service value drinks

We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money and how lovely and attentive the staff were here. A small group with mixed experience, and perhaps older than the average clientele, we were made to feel at home right away, with Sam at the bar making us feel comfortable to order anything and Lachie inducted us into the room like a pro. I don't know why we didn't have huge expectations for the place, but we had one of the best nights out in a long time thanks to Juke's and their great staff. Prices weren't cheap but weren't absurdly expensive either and we didn't feel any pressure to purchase or add extras to the room -although we were quick to book an extra hour! We'll have to try some of the food next time. Well done to the team at Juke's!

Absolute amazing experience here for my hens night!!! First of all the staff were all just generally happy friendly people not one was unhappy!! Secondly the staff all looked after us as a big group and were very accommodating!! And thirdly for one of the staff ( guy wearing the red sequin blazer) was so nice that he offered to walk my mum to the taxi bay to make sure she got home safe!! Hands down best experience ever!!! Thank you so much we will definitely be back!!! ??❤

This place is amazing, the atmosphere is bubbly. The staff are really fun and the drinks are really amazing, if your the kind of person that likes bars like this (fun, loud bars with great live music and whose staff don't take themselves too seriously), then this is a must go, would give 6 stars if I could

I experienced a hired Karaoke experience through Juke’s and loved it! The service was timely and there was enough food and beverage for the whole group. The ‘music box’ is easy to use which meant we were able to get the most out of our experience!

Good staff and prices - few cons: microphones not loud enough (at least in Studio 8), limited selection of Chinese music and the UI just not as good as other karaoke places (limited options/tv only shows lyrics with no music videos etc, no option to upload your own music)

There were 9 of us, we booked for 9 am and the room was not available until 9:30pm, it was small compared to other karaoke I have been. The price was expensive at $19 per hour per person with no drink including. There were only 2 microphones in the room which wasn't enough for a big group, also the volume for the mics were too low. The song list was limited and the lyrics were incorrect/ incomplete for most of the songs we chose. We booked for 2 hours but the system stopped after 1 hour and we had to call the staff, and had to re-select all the songs we had in the playlist. I didn't like the mocktail I ordered. Probably won't go back again.

Cool karaoke rooms

On a bit of a whim, we decided to check out Juke’s after a game of Holey Moley next door. I have to say, we were so glad we did! Given that it’s the busy Christmas period, we were a bit worried about our chances of getting a booking for a karaoke room, but to our luck we scored a room. I haven’t had fun like that in ages! The rooms itself were amazing, and the attention to detail was fantastic. Having the ability to order food and drinks from within the room was brilliant. The food and drinks were great and all of the staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly bubbly even during the busy Christmas season. All round amazing! I will definitely be back here to celebrate my birthday with friends in Feb!

Mitch and Holly made our night fantastic! They went above and beyond to keep us entertained whilst they were fixing some technical problems with the TV. They even gave us free drinks and let us play mini golf whilst they were fixing everything up. They made what could’ve been a disastrous hens night a blast!

We had my sister's hen's night here. We had Sarah tending to our function and she did such an amazing job and really helped make the event run smoothly and made sure we were looked after She was just so lovely
