Attention!!! This place has changed a lot and not for good, been going since March 2021 and it’s getting more crowded since got famous and the venue it’s perfect for tourist, unfortunately services it’s extremely poor, waiters don’t care about service because they know the place gets busy, worst of all it’s their bad attitude. Food went from great to bad and poorly served, same with the drinks. So think twice if you care for service and quality, there are better options in the area.

4 stars out of 5 just because we waited 10 minutes before being served. We have a great time here. It was our last night in Merida and it was the best spot to wine down and relax after our trip. The staff is great and friendly. I would suggest seating in the outdoor area by the front door. Inside is a bit crowded and noisy.

Food exceeds expectations, creative and fresh for the price. Lots of vegetable options, grilled veg with mushrooms and sprouts, salads with colorful baby greens, etc. No AC, powerful well-placed fans drive away hot air as well as any insects. Nice full bar with local beer, too.

Very nice little place with good music. I had an hamburger that was excellent. I would go back if I'm ever back in Mérida.

Loved the vibe of Casa Chica. It felt kind of “fresa” but it wasn’t super expensive. We got pizza’s for $90 MXN and $130 MXN. Service was great and the pizza’s were delicious.

Nice place, foods ok, no AC, and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They lack on staff n the ppl they have are reaaaally rude. The guy at the bar was nice at the beginning but after a while coming back to remember him our orders he got annoyed and pretended he didn’t speak English at all. Same with the waiters. Openly ignoring us, no shame. Three different ones kept on forgetting what we ordered and instead of apologizing they just pretended we never did. I’d never come back if they don’t make any changes.

This is an Italian restaurant with a Yucatan flair.. From the outside and when we were seating inside it had the feel of a 20-something bar (pub food, strong sweet drinks, loud music, basic table service). BUT WAIT! I ordered the chicken pasta with pesto sauce; outstanding. Pizza was very good also. Negroni's were as good as most in Italy. Waiter was very attentive and played along w our gringo spanish. Music was a loud but we could still talk. Locals were coming in as we left.

Nice place to have drinks. Has a front patio that you can sit and enjoy your evening. Food is so so. Little pricey for the amount you get. Service could be a lot better. They seem tired. I believe they need to hire more people to attend the customers.

The place is chill and it is nice it has AC. We went there for a few drinks and those where very underwhelming, food wise we only got papás bravas and those were good.

Perfect for a relaxing afternoon apperitivo. They have a nice selection of apperitivs, the coffee is good. They offer a selection of plant milks for vegans (almond, soy). There is a great indoor space that gets you away from th traffic and noise of Montejo Boulevard.

DO NOT GO HERE. It is definitely an instagrammable place, but you do not want to go here if you require any food at all. Our food took more than a whopping TWO HOURS (mind you, this was a simple burger and club sandwich), before we cancelled our order (partly because our waiter suggested it), only for us to get charged the full amount of what we had consumed. This place and the kitchen in particular is a complete abd utter failure. The cherry on top was the absolute sour face that was supposed to be the hostess, who gave us a death stare on our way out to top it off. She has no business at all doing that job. The only redeeming factor this place posesses was the waiter, who was very nice about it all.

We needed a break from the intense afternoon heat and Casa Chica was a perfect oasis. The place wasn't too busy in the late afternoon so we were able to pick a seat right by a huge fan. We both ordered from the "Spritz" menu, in an effort to cool off and the 200ml drinks hit the spot. My partner and I both ordered a burger. Hers was the portobello, and mine was the beef. Both very tasty and not too heavy. We really liked the (perfectly) lightly toasted house-made buns, and the potato wedges were tasty too. The staff was very excellent and patient with our limited Spanish. The only word of watching is to expect above average prices (but that's also the neighborhood). As a lunch place to beat the heat, Casa Chica is great!

Surprisingly good breakfast: ranchero eggs with black mole and papaya juice. Dog friendly, great service

We had bad service. I don’t get the hype about this place. It was empty and late and we could not chose our places. We left after 20 minutes since nobody came and took our order. Felt like we were disturbing to staff who were sitting at the bar talking to each other.

POOR SERVICE!!! Delays in taking orders and forgetting to take the order from one person in our group of 4. The waiters tried to take away my food and drink before I was even finished... They were pulling away dishes and wiping down the table while we were still seated and trying to finish our meals. They say this place is open late so why the rush at midnight. The restaurant was not full at that time. We had an indoor table which was horrible, with waiters tripping over each other (and bumping into our chairs), throwing bits of food on the floor as they cleared tables... Very uncomfortable eating experience. We even saw our waiter exit the men's washroom adjusting his pants and fastening his belt! I wonder if he washed his hands. Will never go back there!

It's a super cool place. Not a lot of space though so may need to wait outside. Drinks are varied. We had guacamole and just wondered about its consistency. I'd still go back.

The burger was absolutely perfection... Chipotle aioli, guacamole, bun to meat ratio... Gouda cheese... Wow

This was our first stop on our vacation to Merida, and I'm so glad. The waiter was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The location on Paseo de Montejo is easy to locate. The interior vibe is sexy and laid back. The drinks and food were very good. We will definitely be returning!

😐 Beautiful setting, very helpful and excellent staff. Their menu has just about every dish for which the Yucatan is known. So this might be a good first stop for you to get an idea of what food you will find on the rest of your trip. Our food was just OK. I would not recommend this restaurant if you...

👍👍 Excellent! I ordered three of the pastor tacos. My wife ordered two chicken tacos. Best we've had in a very long time and we're loaded with meat. Two classic Margaritas each. Both were tasty and potent. I wasn't done so I ordered two of the bistec (steak) tacos. Also yummy! We will definitely go...
