Happy to visit the Center. Appreciate the intentions to have the spot at the key point of Addis. It’s easy to get it. Unfortunately the building’s finishing design is so poor that it can’t accommodate the weak and elderly. I never see such steps in any building. Plus the finishing is so poor and the materials are so low grade in every aspect. Otherwise I was impressed by the pictures and tools displayed in the museum.

I really had an amazing time, I've learned a lot, the compound is incredibly awesome, several trees, i had a nice walk. The only thing I've to comment in here is about the guides in there, because I haven't seen none, and since I don't speak the language, I had difficulty in understanding some of the arts presented.

Very unique center in terms of originality and cultural authenticity. I recommend this Musem and the Library to anyone interested to learn about Original African cultures

Oromoo was a race found in Ethiopia and near by countries. For them this cultural centre opened- mainly for their well-being.

Composition of museum, library, training center and conference halls the place is full of rich heritage of the oromo people. Very inexpensive to visit the museum and very friendly staff were there to guide. Although I wish I could have traditional Oromia cousin, the cafe serves decent typical dishes with a reasonable price. Some functions like toilets and trash bins are almost inaccessible.

We tried to visit center but we had an issue upon entry. Once we got padded down and passed the armed guards we walked towards the main entrance. Halfway to the main entrance we were approached by a man who asked us for our Id's. The man did not have a uniform nor any credentials so I instinctively asked if he worked at the center. The man became immediately irate and aggressive that I asked that simple and logical question. I don't just hand my passport over to just anyone especially someone with no visible credentials . The man asked why I asked him that question and I told him the obvious.  He created a tense and awkward situation so we decided to leave. It's unfortunate because we were eager to visit this Ethiopian gem.
