Sorry to say , the personnel was good and the breakfast area was good . The room was not four star ,, it was in line with the cheapest hostel . Non closable doors . Strong smoke odor in the room , falling of paint and rotten doors in the bathroom. Extreamly “thin walls “. The Hotell promised that the manager will call me to discuss ( she wasn’t working the days I stayed). I have waited to write this review but know it had been too weeks and no contact … so bad

The reception and bar staff were super! Friendly accommodating and a credit to the hotel. The bar and restaurant is beautiful with modern seating and artwork. Due to an error i was upgraded, the room was not as nice as the website. It did not match the quality of the rest of the hotel but it was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, fresh orange juice and cooked breakfast but for me was missing mushrooms and beans. :) Still a super place for a stopover or to discover the beauty of Metz.

The hotel was pretty good, but it was cold in the room and even with the heating on during all night the room was still not really warm. The food was arranged for a big group (both dinner and breakfast), so I understand it was less quality than usual. However I expect some better food quality from a 4 stars hotel. I mean...they gave us pasta without any souce.Just raw pasta or rice with meat. Still a good experience after all

Disappointing, the whole hotel looks outdated, outside and in, the rooms are alright in size but noisy / thin walled, we got to enjoy the sound of the other guests doors starting early in the morning. Inexplicably the hotel had no hot water for the duration of our stay, no notice in advance or at check-in, apparently some maintenance ran longer than expected. The bed was made poorly and the bedlinnen has several holes. The bathroom is just about clean but not well maintained. The rates however are still up with decent hotels in the city. The two things going for the hotel are the location and the paid parking behind the hotel but that doesn't offset the disappointment.

If driven from the UK to north iraq 3 times now, so i have a huge experience in hotel stays , this place is adequate, but hugely overpriced! Great breakfast, ok standard room , but beware of the photo on Google, it's not a picture of the hotel! Or even the view from your window! Room, breakfast and parking was €150 , iv stayed in way, WAY better hotels for a fraction of this price.

Well located hotel but expected more from a Mecure. Room was OK, had a kettle but plug position mentioned it had to be perched on a chair to use. Staff at reception were lovely and the general vibe of the hotel was excellent.

A reasonably priced hotel with excellent room appliances and very good service. The breakfast is excellent and the staff always considerable and accommodating

Very conveniently located: just a couple of minutes from the historical downtown with all the little streets with the restaurants and shops yet in a very quiet corner, where your sleep won’t be disturbed by the town’s busy nightlife.

Confirmed booking 6 weeks in advanced and they cancelled my reservation the day of arrival 5 hours before check-in..

Spent a night here during long journey and felt totally happy. Bedroom comfortable and clean, but also very quiet. Reception very courteous and helpful. Restaurant good with friendly staff, rich and varied breakfast. In particular, the chairs in the restaurant are the most welcoming chairs I've ever experienced! Kick back, relax and enjoy your evening. A definite repeat.

This is a wonderful hotel - newly renovated, very nice and helpful staff, delicious buffet breakfast and convenient restaurant with great food. It's a very short walk from the station, and all the main sights in the town center are walkable. Parking is very reasonable and on-site at the rear of the hotel.
