Tiny bathrooms, tiny shower, ancient lift, no disabled access, lots of stairs, very cramped. We paid €75 night which is OK but I'd gladly pay more if it means I am comfortable and not cramped, especially in the bathroom. I don't care how wonderful the breakfast is, there are hundreds of places nearby where you can go eat. This place is fine for students and backpackers but if you're in any way disabled, or taller and wider than average or have very young children then I'd go for something a bit more modern. Walls are thin too.

We had a one night stay here at Hotel Le Mondon in three seperate rooms in July 2023. The rooms are really small, worn and not very clean. Stains on the matress and the walls in room 202, dirt an sticky surfaces in room 212, and a really dirty bathroom in room 207. The bathrooms are more than tiny, a grown man can hardly fit in there. The service in the other hand is fine. Everybody is friendly and kind. So, if your budget is not that high, and you don't mind the flaws, that are definitly undeniable, it might be ok, for all the others, think about booking at another place.

Nice relatively cheap place directly at the the beginning of the city center, sight seeing starts out of the door. 10min walking from the main train station. Rooms could be cleaner, breakfast is okay but boring and every day the same.

Price compared to quality it's okay. No airco only ventilator. Friendly staff.

It was ok. The entrance is not beautifull, looks not clean but in the end it's perfecf.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel, good room, clean, good breakfast, but cyclists be aware: the hotel doesn't take bycicles and there is no public safe cycle storage in Metz, which put us in a difficult situation. Find out before you book wether there is a storage for your bike!

Middle of Metz, easy to reach, rooms are good, breakfast very nice and I like the pre-ordering of bread in order to reduce waste. Staff friendly

From this hotel it was easy to walk to the city and railwaystation. For a carparkingplace you have to walk about 10 minuts. Nice help in the hotel.

Travel and live in France for more than 4 years, seldom have breakfast with hot food served in local hotel like this! Words can’t describe how touched I was when I saw these crispy bacons.. Happiness overload.

perfect stay Clean hotel, close to the station

Very nice hotel and great for tourists! Great location, not too far from the train station or the city center. Felt very safe, clean, welcoming. Rooms were a little small with not much space for bags, however contained most normal amenities. Also free breakfast included, however very small dining room so had to bring the food back up to our room.

They made us pay 70€ on website and 70€ on arrival. They told us the online payment was a deposit but now 2 weeks after I stayed there I have still not been given back the money! The bathrooms are very small and rooms very hot at night.

Descent but old. Very friendly staff and a bit too down to earth. On a hot day and opening the window while sleeping won't be a good idea cause of the buzz of the street below. Breakfast was good and descent. Beds and clearness were basic.

Friendly hotel. Good located in the city. Clean .Nice view. some remarks on the room: The isolated (extra window) inside did not open caused by construction failure , and the drain of the shower did not function well. Almost caused a flood. Breakfast good.

We really enjoyed our one night at this hotel. The location was great! Room was small but cozy, bathroom was outdated but very clean. The bed and linens were excellent. For a 90 euro hotel we were very pleased.

My first impression from the Hotel is good. Directly at arrival they were surprised I was staying for a complete whole two weeks. Well, I find that surprising as well, the good thing is they gave me a room upgrade because of this, well done. The twin room comfort is spacious with two big and comfortable beds, which is of course important. There is a small desk, a cooler/mini bar and a relaxing chair which I believe can me transformed into some kind of a bed. The room and bathroom is refurbished, you can see that, it's clean and tidy but it feels still a bit outdated. Not an big issue in my opinion, because the shower is good and the mirror is for a change not too low! (I'm 2 meters tall ;). The breakfast is good and to avoid spillage they provide you the bakery produces you order the dat before. They have scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, hams, different kind of cheeses, granola, yoghurts, coffee, tea, cookies and last but not least, pancakes! I was lucky the weather was not too hot, because, by far the biggest con of this hotel: no airconditioning....

I had a nice time in this Hotel. It is quite well located since it's in between Train station and city centre. Staff was very friendly and cleanliness was excellent. I missed A/C in my room; in summer the temperatures can be too high, specially in last floor rooms. Opening the windows might be an option but there is water fount and a main road right in front of the hotel so it is really noisy.
