𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝘇 | 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 Absolutely stunning hotel modern French design. Location even better. Superb stay with access to pretty much everything you want and desire. Our room was fabulous very good character and the pool very nice. Safe parking for our Motor Car with excellent members of staff to help you throughout. In the morning the breakfast service is again delicious and well supplied. The hotel is very ambient and offers selection and seclusion whilst dining. I really like this. Staff exceptional, very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended especially for stop overs whilst travelling across a brilliant country.

Mostly my worst experience in 3/4 star hotels in Europe Stuff are mostly unfriendly and unhelpful sometimes even rude, more than one time you might have to run into reception or room service yelling at you, literally fighting with you! Most of people don’t speak any English You would order something from the bar or the restaurant and it very often comes wrong order or late , if you were lucky it is even both! The hotel has two elevators that are slower than a turtle and they would stop every time in the reception floor even if you didn’t want to. In addition to dirtiness and un-renovated rooms I really don’t understand how can it be a four stars hotel!

Move on! Be aware that the main image is not the hotel. It is above a shopping center in the city centre. Rooms are very tired with stained carpets and grubby bathrooms. Gangs of drunks and youths gather right outside at night and make noise so that you can't sleep at all. I checked out at three in the morning and moved on. Read the other reviews. It's not worth staying here!

Our stay was poor because carpet was stinky, walls were dirty, room was very small and it was over priced for a 3-4 star hotel. On phone they told me hotel will provide parking for free and after check in they said parking is extra. The only good thing was the location. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

It's conveniently located in the heart of Metz. We arrived late in the evening and had to leave with our tour group early in the morning. So no time to check out the city. Rooms were a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. I cannot fault the rooms. There were multiple sockets to charge things. They provided us with a cot for our young son. Beds were very comfortable. Heating took a while to kick in but was very comfortable. The fridge is convenient but the safe was too low in my opinion. My son was able to access it until we locked it to prevent him slamming his fingers in it. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly neat and tidy. Can't really fault it except for the rather small spoons to eat with. Staff were really professional and friendly. They had one of the best baby seats I've ever seen in a hotel in France. Enjoyed our stay and definitely would return. Note: outside may be a rough neighbourhood based on my first impression. As we were disembarking our bus, a drunk guy proceeded to pull out his ... and relieve himself in full view of our group. It was right up on the wall at the bottom entrance. Disgusting!

The only reason I’m giving it a low score was when we booked we specifically asked did they have EV car hook ups, and when we arrived none of them were working, which had a knock on to delaying our onward journey. The hotel was average exactly what we expected.

If you’re gonna stay here soon. DON’T! They have the construction right now from 10-17.30 pm even in the holidays. And they didn’t notice us when we did the booking. Not fair

3 stars maybe on a good day, but..never a 4 star, in my opinion. Many things were a bit off: when we arrived at the hotel (15.20, when check-in starts at 15), the room wasn't ready. Annoying after 5h of driving.. not even sorry at the reception, not an effort to compensate anyway (even with a drink while waiting etc., which is a minimum since it's their mistake).. after waiting in a lobby for 25min we got to the room. The room itself was outdated, sink wasn't flushing properly, toilet was a closet from 1982 with 1-ply rough toiletpaper-wannabe. 4 stars? I think not.. Breakfast was ok, some things were illogically placed, lacked fresh berries/vegetables..ok, but not 4-star standard. Location was good, no getting away from that! Common areas were ok as well, staff mostly friendly. All in all, ok-ish stay, but rooms especially are in need of.sn update!

Staff were very rude, barrier was not distributing tickets previous evening? Was told by the night porter not a problem and we will just let you go through, this info was not passed on to the morning staff, alot of upset customers, staff didn't seem to care. Very poor, never had issues with novotel but the metz branch is definitely a no go for me

I was feeling hot in the room and needed a bit of AC, the old man with a mask said it’s not function in the whole hotel. I went to ask another family in the room next door, and thier was wokring. I never heard a 4star hôtel that don’t have ac , there is no Netflix , there is nothing. Wasted my money for nothing.

My stay at Novotel Metz was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is exceptionally well-located, making it easy to explore the beautiful city of Metz. One of the highlights was the hotel's lovely bar, which stays open until 11:30, providing a great place to unwind and enjoy some evening relaxation. The combination of convenience and a comfortable atmosphere made this hotel a fantastic choice for my trip. I highly recommend Novotel Metz to anyone looking for a delightful stay in this charming city.

This is a really nice hotel that's new and functional. Everything worked in the room. The service was good. Teacattle was included. Air-conditioning worked which was great in a 90 degree weather. Location is excellent. Car parking is extra. Breakfast is extra.

The hotel has an amazing location, the rooms are clean and it has nice breakfast. One of the nice features was the cold water machine in the floor. The pool was a hit for us and the kids on a warm afternoon in Metz. The stuff is attentive and speak good English. Just be prepared that the hotel still really needs refurbishment.

Rooms need an upgrade. Questionable 4 Star Hotel. But perfectly located in city center.

Don’t be put off by its dated looking exterior. This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Metz, and even has access to a public playground in a shopping centre courtyard from its front door, which is safe from traffic. Clean, warm, and very friendly. We’ve used Novotel Metz as our stop off between our two home countries since our children have been ages 0 - 8 so far… they’re so accommodating. Have lovely extras for children (game table, swimming pool in summer, table Fußball, retro arcade games, selection of books, and two MASSIVE cuddly toys to cuddle) The rooms are clean and well equipped. Most rooms have shower, no bath, and have a small step to access the shower. I’m not able to comment on wheelchair access. The food… I have to say we had one of the best burgers ever here yesterday. We asked how it is recommended, and rare was the response. So we accepted… succulent, juicy, flavoursome, incredible. Breakfasts are plentiful. You won’t be hungry. My only negative is that the coffee is very weak for our liking. Not much flavour. Great hotel, great staff all round, excellent food, lovely and clean: very well done!

Very central and helpful staff. Hotel rooms are showing their age. And the ventilation is not great thankfully we could open the window

A nice hotel with friendly staffs, food at the restaurant was good, need more variations though. Cleanliness can be improved. Access to the reception and parking is a bit confusing but all in all ok

the room amd the building seems quite old and moisture everywhere. The water drops from the top of the lobby and the employees are busy to clean it. My sofa bed has bunch of other people's hair and feels not good.

We stayed in the family room 324, which was at the the very end on the 3rd floor. Starting on room 318 the carpet started to smell heavily of urine, maybe from a person or a pet. We complained about it at the reception, but nothing happened to resolve the problem. The room was rather old looking, but apart from the windows that have not been cleaned in years from how they looked, the room was clean and with ritual products in the bathroom (shower gel and shampoo) of which the shower gel was empty.. The staff at the bar and breakfast was very nice and friendly. Location very central. For 200 EUR a night however rather overpriced.

The person working at the reception was a woman who was very immoral and did not answer the customers correctly at all and was not fluent in English at all.

Good for an overnight, parking right below the hotel with direct lift to reception. Next to shopping center and historical center. Hotel is old (70's), but rooms are refurbished, nice bedding and silent room with double doors.
