Look at my photos, I had a scallop appetizer and SIX, ONLY SIX pieces of nigiri sushi, including an incredibly overpriced $18 piece from Japan. They automatically add 20% service charge, I'm from Manhattan NYC and nobody ever does that for one person sitting at the sushi counter. Add one beer for $8 and my total? $99! I'm very sorry but it was absolutely NOT worth nowhere near that much money, it was totally overpriced. Outrageously so, and while the taste was good, it was no better than countless other similar places that cost less than half the amount that I paid.

The last time I heard "irasshaimase" walking into a restaurant, I was in Japan. Really nice touch. I went to Toni's twice while on a long weekend in Miami, and I give it a thumbs up. Pretty respectable. Fairly extensive menu with a good balance of east and west - a nice selection of traditional nigiri as well as more western rolls, lots of appetizers, a variety of kitchen entrees. I'd hovered between giving a 4 or 5 rating, but the 5 goes for having uni from Japan on the menu. It is hands down the best stuff and a real treat when you can find it. Service was prompt and friendly, and the crew behind the sushi bar is very efficient. I like the location too - a couple blocks removed from the buzzing nightlife of Ocean Drive, but still easy to walk to. Good overall vibe; has some upbeat music in the background but isn't at all wild and crazy. I'll likely be back if I'm in South Beach again!

Such a gem. One of the best sushi in South Beach. No frills just good fish. Even though it’s in the heart of South Beach on Washington you feel like you’re in a different world. I can’t believe I discovered this place after living here for 3 years! Authentic and delicious

Toni's Sushi is extremely friendly and the staff immediately greets you with smiles. The menu is diverse, and includes all sorts of sushi to try. I highly recommend you visit this institution and ask for recommendations and try their specials. Don't be shy about enjoying some of their amazing sake options.

Awesome food, great atmosphere. The sunken seats provide a unique experience and privacy. A+ for presentation, freshness and taste.

I've been a loyal, frequent customer for years and the sushi is solid. However, I placed an order tonight and at the end uber eats asked if i wanted to order truffle salmon for $9. Sounded great so I did. This is what arrived!!! 1 very tiny sushi. Spoke to the manager, expressed that this was a joke / misrepresentation yet she wouldn't budge. Will never order from them again.

Great sashimi selection! Very delicious! Hamachi kama was deep fried, not grilled as the menu stated but they took it back without complaint. Excellent service.

We had Sushi Sashimi for two. The fish was fresh and nicely presented. The waitress was attentive. Gratuity was listed in the bill. I don’t like that because it is not proper and professional to do that. The hostess had an attitude.

Ok the California roll typically is just something I get if I'm not feeling sushi. It was the BEST! Never had better sushi and even the staff was like the best I ever seen. They were always filling up my water and got the sushi out to my table way quicker than I thought was possible.

Celebrating something special? DON'T COME HERE. I'm so incredibly disappointed. I made reservations a week in advance. I got there early and ordered dessert in advance, asked for candles and for them to sing happy birthday. The server completely forgot, rushed the bill over, HANDS IT TO THE BIRTHDAY GIRL & never said anything. Ruined the whole night!! Will never come back here.

I love a restaurant where there’s ambiance and you can still hear each other speak. This might make me sound old but it’s no fun going out for dinner if you can’t even hear what someone is trying to say. Loved Toni’s

Loved the fried soft shell crab and the crispy sushi. Sadly, I have to deduct a point for the ponzu sauce for the crab, because it was way too salty, with too much soy sauce mixed in. I asked for a lighter ponzu sauce but they didn't have it. If they did then this crab would have been perfect. I also got the tuna avocado salad. I expected a leafy salad with tuna, but instead got a tartar of tuna + avocado with 3 leafs on top. The food itself is good but not great, again the main problem being the sauce is too soy sauce heavy.

First time dining in after many delivery orders. It’s fabulous both ways. Impeccable service, delicious food, great prices. It’s our new Sushi spot. Susanna was our server and was perfect! Professional, personal, tended to our 2 year old. Highly recommend

WOW! My meal at Toni's was exceptional!! I really enjoyed the fast service and the Norwegian roll was fresh and tastful. The Thai Doughnuts was not available so I went with the Fried Cheesecake. It was interesting eating warmed Cheesecake!

Terrific food, service, wine list, and price! I always enjoy dining at Toni’s and the addition of the sidewalk dining area ensures that I may continue to do so while social distancing. Also, very dog friendly. Definitely one of my faves!

Delicious! The Spicy Hamachi was so good - texture was soft and just a bit of spice from the Serrano on top. The Chirashi was also amazing in flavor and texture! Service was prompt and attentive and our waitress was very helpful with recommendations. Would definitely return and recommend!

Truly exceptional sushi. Been there twice on my vacation in Miami Beach and will come back every time I’m here!

Back again for the second time over a year later and this place is still amazing. The miso Chilean sea bass and lobster roll are amazing. Service is great and place is very clean. I will return and recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience. Some of the best sushi I've ever had in the country. All the dishes and sushi were delicious and well presented. Be sure to check the daily offer menu, lots of things you don't find by the coasts. Went on a Friday night and it was not too busy. Wonderful staff too

The service is excellent and the sushi is amazing!! 10/10 would recommend. The chirashi roll was my favorite. But all of the sushi that we tried was great. The salmon belly with truffle oil was delicious as well! The only thing that wasn’t incredible was the waygu gyoza. But the sushi itself earned the 5th star.

Glad we chose this place to dine. The truffle scallops are a taste that I want to experience again! (: Our server outdoors was AMAZING. I wish I remembered his name, but you will know who I am talking about.
