Restaurant specializing in serving fresh fish and seafood dishes with also raw bar options, and a great cocktail menu. We ordered the catch of the day which was a super fresh red snapper that we were able to choose freshly from the ice bath, Jason our waiter did a great job explaining the menu and also preparing the cooked fish for us to eat, we really enjoyed the food and left very satisfied.

Absolutely delicious. We had a very boozy brunch. The staff was so patient and lovely. We ordered tuna bowl, lobster roll, and some other stuff I forgot. It was all delicious. The outdoor side gets warm easily because of the sun. Watch out for smokers. A lot of the customers are smokers unfortunately so sit indoors if you want to avoid them.

This place has the BEST freshest fish 🎣 in South Beach!!! I absolutely love coming here for the snapper which is a whole fish iced in a bathtub for your being pleasure and roasted or fried with sides of arugula, and pickled veggies, de-boned at your table. 🥰 Everything here is delicious and fresh. Cocktails are specialty and eclectic. Always an exceptional and satisfying dining experience here! 💯

Come for the smoked fish dip and stay for the amazing drink, fabulous service, and every other thing on the menu. After being up since 4am we left the airport and drove right to this gem for a much needed nosh and libation. Although it was chilly we braved the outside and are grateful the waiter braved it with us. The inside is amazing but when you come from snow you choose outside when you can. Everything we had was fresh and perfectly prepared and came straight from the kitchen to our table without chilling (pun intended) in a service window. If you are on the fence make the leap and book a table.

We came early to enjoy happy hour drinks and small plates. Then, we had to stay for more! The sweet corn spoon bread was amazing! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Our server was attentive and the staff was very friendly! It was our favorite restaurant while visiting Miami for 3 days.

This was our first time visiting— definitely happy we found here. The food was delicious!!! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The appetizers came out pretty fast, they were also amazing! Our waiter Denise was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and funny! He recommended some amazing items on the menu. We highly recommend here!

Great food, drinks, and service! We ordered the oysters, coconut shrimp, fish dip, & whole crispy snapper, with a side of asparagus. Everything was fresh and tasted good. It’s about 10-14 mins from the strip, but worth the drive as the quality of food is much better than what is offered on the strip. They also have a nice happy hour, the “hotel nacional” was a nice refreshing cocktail.

Had a lovely brunch here. Started with the tackle box. I wouldn’t get it again, the oysters were a little sad and not fully shucked from the shell but everything else was really yummy! We loved the pork belly bacon, fish sandwich and tacos. The ceviche in the tackle box was great, next time I’d just get that instead of the whole box though it was a fun experience.

I had been trying to attend this place for a long time, finally I did...for happy hour in a feel like 118 degrees. I arrived early Sophia was my server bartender very polite and kind. I tried several items from the happy hour menu. I loved it all. Then Roberta took over again a sweet kind nice server bartender. Great experience, great food...great people!

Found this restaurant while searching for places to dine that are celiac and gluten free friendly for my husband! They have a ton of gluten free options and my husband could dine without worry! Not to mention the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating! I noted celiac on our reservation and they immediately recognized it when we sat down to eat. We shared the corn bread with lobster and just wow - incredible. I had the scallops for my entree and they were amazing. The eggplant was insanely good. My husband had the local catch & coleslaw! Great place to dine if you’re in the mood for seafood!

Great place! Relaxed and casual atmosphere that delivers great food. Riley, our server was amazing and helpful. Loved the whole Fish options and preparations. We also enjoyed the spoon bread, scallop on the half shell, and the clam chowder.

Okay so I came here off the strength of multiple "best of" rankings lists for restaurants and was thoroughly let down. Oysters were paltry, clam chowder actually a random soup, shrimp and grits some salty amalgamation that was still too salty even when remade with sauce on the side. The highlight of the place is the service and happy hour drinks. Would only return for drinks unfortunately.

I moved to Miami almost 3 years ago, and I have been going to Stiltsville since the very beginning of my arrival here. It has been wonderful every single time, and I usually go twice a year. However, my most recent visit was to be noted!! NEW SPECIALS, NEW FISHCARDS, and THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE SELECTION OF SEAFOOD IN THEIR ICE TUBS AT THE FRONT!! YALLLLLLL!! I soon found out from my server that there is indeed a new chef there and he really is doing the most, in the very best way. I’ve always loved this place on previous visits, and I always left more than happy, but honestly you can find whole snapper, salmon, or tuna on literally any other menu in this city. When I’m paying a decent amount for my meal, I like to be offered something no one else is offering on their menu. This is the reason I only frequented this location a few times a year, however that will change now! The service is wonderful, but I wanted to take the time to really call out the back of the house for testing themselves creatively for my enjoyment, and I’ve been talking about my experience non-stop ever since I left, and I will be recommending Stiltsville fish bar to anyone looking for a unique dinging experience. If you haven’t been, TRY IT, and if you have been and haven’t been recently, RUN BACK!! Trust me, you will be so happy you did.

This was my first time at Stiltsville. I was part of a group of 10 and Kevin did a phenomenal job taking care of all of us! He has a warm, personable personality, was constantly on the ball, got all of our orders correct (including my ridiculous food allergies) and he checked in on us multiple time. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone…and even request to sit with Kevin! (Although I hear Dennis is great as well! 🙃🙂.)

Kevin was phenomenal. He helped us pick our fish and the chef prepared it wonderfully. Atmosphere was top notch, and cocktails were tasty. We enjoyed their conch fritters and plantains, octopus, grouper etc. Everyone was friendly and really great. This place is definitely worth checking out!

My son and I drove down from Jacksonville and had dinner here. We were absolutely not disappointed! I got the tripletail, and he got the grilled octopus. Outstanding! Our server Kevin was great with his recommendations and his personality. The general manager came over and introduced himself, as well. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We absolutely WILL return!

THIS JAMES BEARD NOMINEE served some of the best food we’ve had in South Beach. The spoon bread cornbread ( called soufflé by our waiter) was topped with lobster salad & creme freche. The mahi was superb. Plantains with smoked purée & smoked chorizo were rich, not unlike a spicy desert. Watermelon salad was fun with pickled onions & cures.

Thank you Rocio for your amazing service today! You were welcoming and attentive and we appreciate the diligence that you and your Chef showed regarding managing my long list of allergies - thank you! Great food presentation!

Had the Hogfish, and it did NOT disappoint. They came out to the table to carve it, and after trying some, I’ll say that that was the tastiest thicker white meat fish I’ve ever had. Also had the Stone Crab claws for appetizers. Lucky for me they were in season. One things that was tough is that they were out of oysters, but understandable. I would recommend this place if you like great seafood.

Fantastic visit for dinner for three with two non seafood eaters. We had the fried chicken and cheeseburger, which were both divine. The spoon bread is a must - like a buttery savory bread pudding. Our seafood eater had the grouper, which she’d never had before, and was thoroughly impressed by how delicious it was. Coming from the Rocky Mountains, Stiltsville gave us a whole new appreciation for “local catch”. Even the two land lobbers took part in the smoked fish dip. Cocktails and service were great. Mellow but beautiful space with fun seaside music.

All I can say is YUM. The whole experience was wonderful, they squeezed us in and we got an amazing server (Jennifer) who made our whole meal into a local food experience! The flavors are unique, they have great local beer and it’s a nice pretty quiet getaway from the other side of Miami Beach! This should be a must stop if you’re coming to visit!

The ambiance of Stiltsville Fish Bar in Miami Beach was upscale casual. The dining room opened to the patio, perfect feel after a warm day at the beach, showered and fresh for the slightly cooler evening air. The service and music were good. The food was GREAT! It was the best meal I have had in a long time. We were visiting from Denver. We started with cocktails and the Conch Fritters, both good. I had the Escabeche and it was phenomenal! My spouse had the Grilled Octopus. He really enjoyed it, but wanted a little more chorizo in it. Overall, this was a great choice, and I will definitely be back next time I am in Miami beach. I highly recommend!

A 10 out of 10. Coconut shrimp, the fish wings (oh my gosh!), the octopus and the roasted whole fish….. we went to many beautiful places on this trip, and this was the best!! Service and drinks were awesome too. Fish picked fresh form the ice tub!! Do not miss this!

Many friends have recommended this place but it was a tremendous disappointment. Service was just terrible; servers were much more interested in talking with each other than serving customer in general no wonder on a Friday lunch time it was extremely empty. Now I know never to believe Yelp review’s. Some dishes were really good while most couldn’t even bother taking another single bite. Go elsewhere to spend your money!

Good food and good vibes. We enjoyed our meal and specifically enjoyed the fish dip. If you're going to get an appetizer this is a must try. The cocktail list was unique and well put together. We were disappointed that these shrimp and grits we're out by the time we ordered but we still enjoyed our main entree which was the the miso scallops.

OMG! Loved this cozy and beautiful restaurant! I am definitely coming back! Informal yet super chic ambiance. Our grouper could not have been fresher and more delicious. The fish dip is definitely a must! Served with the best home made potato chips. This is definitely my kind of place. Our server was super friendly and extremely diligent. Well done! 💯💯💯🐠🐠🐠. Thank you!

Javier, Maykel, and Kevin our server of course were absolutely phenomenal. Such a pleasure to indulge in great service and have the pleasure to meet the cook! We were delighted the food is awesome. I recommend the fried red snapper (go within the 2.5lbs) it is divine! The ambience is amazing and relaxed. Service is key and quick. I totally recommend this place; do not be misled! Little restaurants like this are what keep the industry going! Thank you!

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!!
