We went here while we waited to check in into our hotel. The host was friendly and were seated quickly and that's as far as the good goes. We waited a good while before our waitress came to even to ask about our drink order. While pretty the drinks weren't very good, the steak sandwich was super dry and more bread than anything else. The appetizer sampler was at 50/50 but oh man was that meat on the platter so dry and chewy we couldn't finish it. There are many locations so maybe this one is the one to avoid.

Great food and service! Warning: their website did not have up to date menu and I am listing the items with general names and not the actual names. We tried the Flank steak dinner, Cuban Burger, American Burger, Sampler Dinner, the whole Cod? I believe, and Platanos. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was so nice and explained everything to use when we were ordering as well as explained the plates when she came out. The steak was soft and flavorful. The fish pieces were fried to perfection then complimented with this delicious sauce. Would not get a burger personally as all other food was so good but the burgers were tasty too! Downside was this meal with 4 alcoholic drinks was over 400.00 and for everyone who was mentioning the service tax that appears to be 20%.That money DOES NOT all go to the waitress and you should still tip on the bill. 7.5/10 because of the price for food in comparison to other places in the area.

A truly amazing restaurant, food is beyond delicious and so filling. The cubano sandwich was so juicy and all the flavors really bonded well with each other. The Havana sandwich could use some work like incorporating some sauces to to make it not so dry but it still was good. The mango mojito was very refreshing with a perfect alcohol-sweetness ratio. The lemonade was overwhelming refreshing and so good!! They way they hand you the check is so adorable too, handed in a small coin purse is so unique and awesome!

I The service could be improved as it took 15min or so to give our order. When we asked for the waiter they said okay I am calling him but no one came. I was there for the lunch time. Both the outside and inside of the place was lovely. I preferred the inside because pf all the decors. Make this place your next visit!

We absolutely LOVE this location! The service is amazing, outside seating is great with great atmosphere, and most of all, the food is so craveable! We visit every time we're in Miami and I dream of coming back all year long!

Automatically added 20% service charge and paying machine asked me for TIP. I had to press no tip despite I paid 20%. Food was not good, they brought me it 1 min after I have ordered it. I assume it was already prepared and not fresh. Waitress was nice

Our first night in Miami Beach with reservations at Havana 1957. Our drinks were fantastic and the super combo dinner with Cuban sandwich was delicious. All the roasted meats on the combo along with the stew from the combo was crazy tender with lots of flavor. The service was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Stopped here on our first day in Miami and the food was fantastic. I got a plate of rice, beans and chicken and my friend has the beef bowl. We shared ceviche which was exquisitely dressed and slightly spicy, and they brought us plantains to snack on. Altogether, would def recommend!

Update: All good with the food, service and decor, but I hope the owners of the restaurantes will read this and do something about the behavior of flowers sellers. Three of them, in different moments, one man and two woman came to our table on a very aggressive way, (and terrible smell) they reacted bad and rude, almost insulting us when we said “no, thank you”. One woman even cursed us and the man, when I was about to bought the flower, he reacted bad saying that he is old school and never sell flowers to a woman, it was super awkward intimidating situation, looks like mental health issue. I know people need an income, I have nothing against it, but this behavior or the approaching to the tables should be regulated. Also a magician came to the table too, he was educated, but kind of pushy and make us feel uncomfortable. The whole thing disrupted the dinner and our conversation. I never had that experience before on this area. We took our Nashville friends here for a Miami Cuban flavor, they like it a lot, everything was good and tasty. Good service and atmosphere.

This is a great restaurant; super vibrant on an evening, and busy in a good way that makes you feel excited (and hungry). Food is wonderful - definitely recommend the beef guacamole or ceviche for an appetiser. Go with the pork for your main - it blew the other options out of the park. Some of the juiciest, flavourful pork I've ever eaten. They also have a good selection of drinks - nice mojitos and bespoke beer options.

Probably one of the most overrated food We’ve had during our Miami trip. We were excited to try a new cuisine but the food was below par. Below is a breakdown of this place: - The Amazing - Dining on the street and the lighting was beautiful, & we enjoyed it. The Mojito cocktail by the pitcher was perfect and kept us buzzed throughout the meal. - The Good - The truffle Yuca fries was really good. And so was the service. - Below par - Both the Entrees were pricey and for the price your expect a great meal. The CAMARONES AL AJILLO GARLIC SHRIMP didn’t have much flavour in it. The POLLO HAVANA 1957 was just the biggest disappointment. There was nothing to like in it. The rice, beans and Plantain was good tho. I’d recommend go there for the drinks, vibe and appetizers. And that’s about it.

We heard a lot about this place on vacation so we decided to try it out. This was one of the best Cubans I have had by far. The staff was super friendly. Area was pretty cool. Definitely Recommend

If you're looking for an authentic and affordable Cuban restaurant in Miami Beach, then you have to come here. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious, hot, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I had an awesome experience here for lunch and with their light setup I want to come back again for dinner.

Had an early dinner here on a Tuesday the week of 12/20/21. Food and drinks were amazing. Our server David was awesome, super friendly and attentive. We ate out doors which was great only negative was a pan handler who came up to us while we were eating asking for money but he left quickly and didn't return. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a delicious Cubano sandwich (the pickles were great!) and a hearty chicken soup and they were great. Fast service and attentive staff. Keep in mind there's a 20% included gratuity. The atmosphere is cozy and the terrace is ventilated (great for the hot summer days!)

We had the cuban sandwich here 2 years ago and remembered it was very good, so we tried it again. The taste was as good as we had in our memory, but not the price. We did the takeout, and paid $23 just for one sandwich: $18 + 20% tip that's automatically added even for takeout + tax. In nyc at least you have an option to add the tips but not in Miami. So tourists, be aware!

Ordered the roasted chicken it was so delicious. The meat falls off the bone with this tasty gravy sauce. Very Authentic cuban food like the Croquettes that were very fresh. Morning vibes are up in the area. Totally recommend if you really love Spanish cuisine. Not so much if you don’t like crowds watching you eat your tasty meal with envy.

Ugh, ordinary dish and salty addition!! Also be careful the price of the service is imposed at 20% not included on the card. In addition, the manager made an ironic remark to us because we left a little less than a dollar more than the 20% imposed. To avoid, there is much better a little further on the same street!!!!

My top go-to Cuban restaurant in South Beach! Food and drinks are very delicious! Customer service and prices are great. Love the location as well. I only gave my visit 4-stars because I didn’t like where we were seated, but overall the outdoor is excellent.

The best meal I have tasted during my stay in Miami. Great atmosphere. Impeccable table service. Good music. Thank you! Only remark, the happy birthday music was too loud. We were surprised each time. Without that, it was perfect 👌

This is a great option for cuban cuisin in South Beach! The food was very tasty and flavorful in this restaurant. We ordered some Stuffed Green Plantains with Shrimp and some with Chicken. It was delicious. I loved the ones with Shrimp but I didn't like the Chicken. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The waiter was very attentive and friendly.

Our service was excellent. The Cuban Sandwich is HUGE and the roasted pork is delicious! I like just a but more mustard/pickle flavor to accent. Fantastic crusty Cuban bread. We ordered plantains which were perfectly caramelized. Empanadas were nice, but more of a barely half stuffed novelty, depending on what you are used to.

Our experience was fantastic. Located to the right as you enter Espanola Way. Food was incredible. Tamale was the best I've had. My husband loved the Cuban sandwich. It's a must. Our waitress Laura was very sweet and attentive. Atmosphere is perfect, right on Washington and in the middle of all the excitement of Miami's Española Way. Thanks again Laura. I will definitely come back.

At the entrance of Española Way, an encounter with the old Cuban and the future. My favourites: classic mojitos, croquetas, tostones, masitas de puerco and black beans soup. Great atmosphere and music. Love sitting on the patio side facing Washington ave to enjoy the street and restaurant ambiance. I have never had a problem during my visits, and the staff is very welcoming and eager to make you feel at home. During this last visit enjoyed meeting the supervisor Pablo and our waiter Dayron. Thank you for the extra sugar cane the chicken soup treats. We will be back.

What a fun experience! We had dinner there at about 8 PM on a Saturday and it was very lively. There were three different people celebrating birthdays so their loud fun birthday music came on to celebrate each one. We dined indoors and I got the guacamole and pork. My husband got the sampler plate with a little of everything. We loved it all. Highly recommend it. The vibe was really fun especially with all the old photos and all the walls. Very fun ambience.

Absolutely wonderful! The food is scrumptious, the bartender is a genius, and the waitstaff is beyond helpful! Their classic Mojitos will mellow out anybody, their Cuban Sandwich is plentiful and delicious. If I didn't live 1000 miles away, I'd visit every week.

After seeing a tik tok of this place I added it to my list of places to go try. I would rate this place as ok if you need a place to eat. Nothing crazy good or anything I would write home about. The empanada starter was lack luster. I had better from a shop at the airport. I was craving a Cuban sandwich and this did not concur the craving. So you may ask why such a high rating. Well there was nothing wrong with the food. It was clean fresh and well cooked. Just not what I expected for a Cuban restaurant. The service was great no issues but I won’t be returning as the flavors of Cuba where not present.

Nice little cozy Cuban restaurant at the corner of this popular intersection. It is a rainy day so we sat inside which has about 10 tables. Very cozy. Cute bar at the end. Menu has sandwiches, bowls and traditional Cuban fare. Food is high quality and presented very nicely. It also tastes ok and fresh. Had overall good experience but can’t give it a 4 star more like 3.5. We stopped by at lunch time which was very busy but likely because it was pouring outside. Service is efficient and fairly fast.

Super yummy Cuban food with my favorite side—maduros! (Sweet fried plantains). I’ve been to Cuba but would not consider myself an expert in the cuisine, but this did seem very similar to meals I ate there! This is in a pretty touristy part of town so I’d guess it’s usually busy. We were seated immediately but were seated outside, which wasn’t ideal as it began pouring rain right as our meal ended. Try for an inside seat 👍🏻

Best food, drinks, ambiance, music and service. I’d only wished we had another day extra to return here. The mojito and steak was super tops! Loved everything about this place

Delicious Cuban meals, we had the signature chicken dinner and the Cubano sandwich with Nueske's smoked ham, from Wisconsin. Both meals were excellent. Service was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our dining experience.

First off, Romel is as awesome. He was very helpful in choosing drinks and was very friendly. He was beyond great. Food and drinks were delicious but service was top noche. Will definitely be back next time in South Beach.

It’s a great restaurant for those Cuban and Latin food lovers. For those not familiar with Cuban and Latin flavor, it is a great way to explore. I love their quality, presentation and service. Would def recommend it to friends and family visiting Miami. Reserve a table and allocate time to find park on the street. Girls will get you a table as soon as posible. Great environment surrounded by restaurants. This area is supervised by police 24/7. Def a 5 stars

Manuel was a terrific server. Kind and prompt with mojitos! Which, were the best we’ve ever had. I really enjoyed my crispy shredded chicken, white rice and black beans meal. Havana 1957 will be a repeat when we return to Miami!
