When I saw the beautiful pictures of the hotel online, I was impressed and immediately booked. However, when we arrived we were utterly dis-appointed. I will list the pros and cons of this hotel. Pros: 1. Great central location in South Beach, that is walking distance from the beach, restaurants and clubs. 2. Affordable room cost. 3. Continental breakfast provided. 4. They allowed us to leave our bags aftee checkout so we could go for some last minute shopping before our flight. Cons: 1. Hotel is dated and looks nothing like the pictures posted online. 2. There are no elevators so you will have to haul your luggage up and down narrow flights of stairs. 3. Shady characters hanging around the common area at all hours, smoking. 4. The room we got smelled stale with cigarette smoke and the sheets had visible stains on it. 5. There were minimal towels and no extra sheets as we requestes so had to walk to the lobby for that. 6. Our room wasn't cleaned, we had to request that as well. Overall, the hotel is poorly managed. I would not recommend a stay there.

The room was super cute and clean. The building was so beautiful. Everyone was friendly. They only gave us one towel which was odd , since they knew the room was for 2 people. We did see 2 bug, but we were in south FL so it was no big deal. I only wish it was disclosed clearer that they didnt validate parking, which I paid 100.00 extra for . It was hard to find since theres a mexican restant in front of where the address is .

NO PARKING! The room was so incredibly dirty. It was so dirty that my friend walked on it for a few minutes and the bottom of his were almost black. -Gross weird stains on headboards and walls, and doors, etc... -AC barely worked. -Cockroach in bathroom. -At 1130 pm the "security guy" tried to open our door and was surprised to see us. Hubby had to tell him yes we paid and yes we were sleeping! -1 towel for 2 people...is not enough. -No accessible outlets, the one us the bathroom didn't even work! - Front desk would not answer the phone despite numerous calls to get help with directions! - And to top it off hubby went to take luggage to the car with our friend and Housekeeping DID NOT knock, walked in on us using the restroom!!

The pictures of the rooms on the website are very deceiving. Rooms are dark and dingy. Hallway had a smell of pot resin embedded in the walls mixed with mold and mildew on the carpet that seemed to be covered up with powdered carpet freshener. The room itself had a urine smell. Floors in the room were sticky. I don't even want to think why. I slept on top of the sheets because I was concerned about what may be underneath the sheets. Could not check out fast enough in the morning.

BEWARE: The worse hotel you can imagine. By far the absolute worse I've seen in my entire life. Gnats flying everywhere, touching my face while I try to sleep, no light in the main room, lifted/ broken tiles in the bathroom entrance which I constantly tripped over, beyond extremely dirty and disgusting bathroom. I can go on and on. They're scammers. We were charged multiple times. Pic online are nothing like what you get. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This was by far one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. I don’t even know where to start. It is just a shame why there is no monetary system to catch scammers, such as this hotel. I paid To stay in a place with the mildew, smell, dirty, broken walls, broken sink, broken shower, and so forth and so on. I thought I was taken advantage of and the money I gave for my stay was money that I have lost. I am putting this review for the ones that I want to book to stay in this hotel because I don’t want to be a victim like me don’t be fool By their price and their pictures or else you will experience the same experience I had. Anyways, I had the worst experience and got my lessons out of this, while I am going to a clinic to be treated for the bedbugs.

Absolutely disgusting, photos are not at all accurate. Bags of trash at the front entrance surrounding the vending machine. Extremely unprofessional, arrived early and asked they would hold/check are bags and they just to us to leave them in the shared lobby, no claim check or anything. People could just walk off with our bags and nobody would know but us. Honestly surprised this place can still conduct any business like this.

Last week My stay was amazing myself and Three girlfriend's from Europe only one thing the tall black cleaning lady looks at us each day as if she hated us we was really afraid of her. We didn't want her to clean our room because we would say hello and she wouldn't say anything but look very bad at us.. maybe she was a racist against white people

Horrible hotel! Not even similar like on the photos. Everything is dirty, old… smell is horrible. Full of weird ppl. Loud… Like in the horror movie. They told me that I will receive a refund, witch I never did. Because I was cancelled a reservation the same second I got there. Never again!

Upon arrival hotel was not clean as it could has been. The room was very difficult to breathe in. I woke up to roaches all over my food. The owner called me a liar. I had to walk the manager to room just to prove I’m not a liar. After they seen roaches they gave me 30% off room

Our first room I discovered a roach in the closet. We moved into another room and I found bugs in the bed. Another thing the photos are not like the actual room. I found hair on the towels in the bathroom. Hallways smells like cigarette smoke. 0/10.

My room was not vacuumed, stains on sheets after wash roaches in the dining facility, in the bedroom. next-door tenant play music till the next morning I didn’t sleep at all the first night. The next three nights were the same, except there was no music they need to police up the common areas it’s filthy! if they would just police up their areas And provide pest control and do housekeeping I would give them four stars.

*Beware of this Hotel* 5 night stay Location was good. We got catfish. Pictures on the website are not the same as what the hotel looks like in person. From day one we started having issues. We killed one or two roaches every day. Key card had to get reactivated every day. Front desk was not 24hr. They do not have breakfast even though it says "Breakfast Included" We had a bad storm one night and the ceiling started leaking from the ceiling light. They put us in another room to sleep for the night but never bother to check the room to see if any damages. Didn't even bother to ask if everything was OK. Overall, they suck and need to be shut down or fined. Do not do what I did and ignore the negative comments because I did. I don't like leaving any negative comments but this place is not what it looks like.

Nice outdoor lobby to meet fellow travellers, great location on South beach close to the water. Rooms are meh but they have the basics. Will come through here again.

Arrived early and requested an early check-in, was told not available at the time and to check back later closer to 12. They eventually did accommodate the early check-in however I must say the staff did not make me feel welcomed, not unwelcomed either but not welcomed. Do not expect an overnight attendee needed to use the restroom and the lobby because my son was using the restroom in the room and the bathroom was locked, the security guard informed me that is locked at the end of the night when the staff goes home and he was given no key for access to registered guests that was indeed an inconvenience. The continental breakfast offered was less than appealing the layout of the items was not inviting at all so my family and I did not eat breakfast there. The location was great. If I return to this hotel it would be because of the location only at this point.

Dirty rooms. One towel in bathroom. No blanket. Only 1 sheet , no volume on TV. Front desk guy very rude. Entering in the court yard it was dirty. Stained up furniture. Vending machine was taking everyone's cash.great location that's it!!!!

Okay for starters, BED BUGS! Like actual bed bugs cowered crawling on the bed. The tub was brown, the hotel staff and owners were rude. I still have not gotten a refund it’s been almost two weeks. The hotel is dirty, like very very very dirty. I truly would not recommend you stay in such an environment.

The Manager Dave was unbelievably helpful. The rooms where clean but dated. Its a $110 hotel room 2 blocks from the beach. What more do you need. We have been back 5 times

Don’t waste your money!! Garbage is cleaner than this place! They don’t care about false advertising, they still charge your for cancellation! Clean air can’t be found but weed is definitely all over the entire dump. Rooms are falling apart, probably you can get a cleaner street to sleep on than this awful place!

Warning to Everyone that comes here to this roach motel! There’s way better places on south beach than this place. Dirty towels, Dirty linen. Dirty rooms. When I got here there the A/c in the room didn’t even work. The owner is the worst attitude and likes to threaten people to call police when they want there refund. The owner also part of his employees threaten little kids. This place isn’t kid friendly or safe for anyone due to how the owner and staff treat people.

If you book this hotel, you won't like it but stay anyway!! They will not refund you and they'll hang up in your face if you press the issue over YOUR OWN MONEY. THE MONEY THEY OWE YOU! Stay there & get your moneys worth. Ask for extra towels. Ask for the breakfast buffet. Ask for new sheets twice a day. Put them to work and make them uncomfortable. Give them the exact amount if you use cash because they'll take the difference and make you "wait for the manager get your change". I'm not the first person this has happened too and am even considering getting a lawyer for such disgusting behavior. But this is their game. They know people are only visiting and have to return back home, wherever they're from. I for one am a college student and I just wanted to have a good birthday. I worked hard, saving my money just for a bunch of lowlifes to STEAL it. It's been over a year and I still haven't received my refund of $800. On my birthday last year myself and my friend went to visit Miami and I made the worst decision by booking at this hotel. I barely wanted to stay the one night at the hotel but we couldn't get a new hotel til the next day. UPDATE: My dad went to Miami to visit in April and I had him stop at the hotel and the guy sitting at the front desk he refused to cooperate. We asked him for a cash refund, we asked him to refund it back to the same card and NOTHING. He later called the police on my (African American) dad for simply asking to speak to manager or Hotel owner. (I was on the Google Duo and heard the entire conversation).
