Fun
stopper:
During
the
briefing,
the
provider
has
you
sign
a
declaration
that
capsizing
with
the
jet
ski
costs
$250
(due
to
alleged
damage,
which
is
not
true!)
and
that
you
have
to
pay
horrendous
costs
for
even
the
slightest
scratch,
such
as:
$250
per
inch
fiberglass
repair
plus
downtime
during
repair
at
$395
per
day.
The
tour
guide
had
no
interest
and
didn't
take
the
booked
tour
"Venetian
Islands
(total
of
6
islands),
Hibiscus
Island
&
Palm
Island"
with
us,
but
only
half
a
lap
around
Star
Island
and
then
just
let
us
drive
freely.
The
“tour”
also
started
5
minutes
late
and
we
had
to
hand
the
jet
ski
back
5
minutes
before
time
was
up,
so
it
was
only
50
minutes
travel
time.
The
jet
ski
already
had
a
broken
rearview
mirror
and
while
driving
a
red
warning
light
and
a
warning
sound
came
on,
which
according
to
the
tour
guide
we
should
simply
ignore.
Instead
of
just
“blocking”
the
deposit,
the
tour
guide
booked
the
amount
and
I
only
received
my
deposit
back
a
few
weeks
later
after
asking
twice
via
email.
But
since
there
were
now
two
“real”
bookings
instead
of
unblocking,
I
also
suffered
a
loss
of
around
10
euros
due
to
exchange
rate
fluctuations
and
transaction
fees!
In
the
end,
the
“tour
guide”
cheekily
wanted
an
outrageously
high
tip
($50
to
$60
-
and
that
for
a
booking
price
of
$139)
for
his
lousy
service!
This
provider's
online
booking
system
is
not
working
properly
because
they
overbooked
our
tour
and
we
were
informed
too
late,
so
we
initially
went
for
free
(with
an
Uber
=
$30
unnecessary
cost!)
and
had
to
go
again
at
a
later
date.
By
the
way,
the
on-site
station
only
consists
of
an
old
box,
a
few
old,
broken
chairs
and
a
parasol.
There
are
no
changing
rooms
to
take
off
your
wet
swimwear
afterwards,
no
toilets
and
no
parking
spaces.
An
hour
of
free
driving
is
also
available
cheaper
from
other
providers
-
even
without
paying
a
deposit
and
with
parking
spaces
and
toilets.
We
would
definitely
not
book
there
again!
