The menu selection is large with many fantastic Cuban dishes. I opted for the Cuban Sampler and it was awesome. My date had the Crispy Chicken which she enjoyed immensely. Stay away from seats near the next door Ocean 10 restaurant unless you like loud music competing against Havana's music. Our server was occupied with larger groups so it took us a while to get her attention and our check. Payment is taken by server using portable credit card charge device. 20 percent service charge is automatically added to bill and no receipt was provided.

Loved stating at the Breakwater Hotel that houses this great restaurant Fantastic atmosphere, great staff and awesome food and beverages. I particularly loved the service. The manager, hostess and serves were awesome. Loved all the meals including the coffees and desserts.

Atmosphere is nice & the drinks & food look good, but wait until you take a sip and a bite; straight disappointment! The Mojito was watery & the food was extra dry. The only thing that was on point was the water; cool & refreshing. If you just have to visit, only order the Water & take in the nice views! P.S. WATCH-OUT FOR THE AUTOMATIC 20% GRATUITY!!!!

The food was really good! Best black beans and rice we have ever had!! Salmon was delicious! Every time we visit, we are coming to eat here! Look at the pics to see how colorful the plate is. Drinks were good with a stick of sugar cane added for the appeal. If you sit outside, the people watching is entertaining for sure! There is another location up the street by the Marriott in a not so crowded area.

Seating was available immediately, service was prompt and attentive. Food was great, very rarely I can say "no complaints". Great experience, good service, great tasting food. Cuban sampler was my meal choice, try it, you'll thank me later.

Service was horrible!! If I could give negative stars I would. The appetizers were amazing I have to say, but the main course was mediocre. Especially for the price they are charging, my wife could have made that at home. We were expecting something different, new flavors etc. We had to ask a bust boy for water because our waitress was too busy with a large party whom came in after us. Mind you we had a reservation already, another waitress literally had to come over to us and make sure everything was okay. Would not come back to this place ever again, worst experience of our honeymoon on south beach.

Fantastic place and atmosphere. Very friendly team. Had drinks and few snacks at the bar. Loved the service. Would definitely go back there. Show was great, with fantastic singer and dancers.

Last night in Miami for a birthday/Memorial Day weekend trip and we were looking for a good restaurant near our hotel. Stumbled on this spot as we were walking and decided to give it a shot - glad we did. The service was great! Our waiter was extremely helpful in his entree descriptions and recommendations, along with suggestions for drinks (size, flavors, etc.) He was also very attentive, patient with us taking a minute at times to make a clear decision and just friendly overall. With his recommendations, the food & drinks were excellent! We each got the larger sized mojitos in different flavors, which worked out well for us to have enough each and collectively. And our entrees were delicious and such great portions! The food came out hot, the sauce and spices of the food made it so tasty and the portions were so big - we each took some back with us. I was sad they didn't have the Tres Leches for dessert, but I got the Flan instead which was very good. If you find yourself in South Beach and are looking for a spot with good food, check this place out!

The food was pretty good, but the beans were hotter than the meat, and by hotter, I mean the beans burned my mouth, and the meats were room temperature. I had a platter with a little bit of everything beans, rice, ropabieja, lechon, and chicken it all tasted good, but the chicken was dry. For drinks, we had pineapple mojito it wasn't theat good tasting. My friend had the guava mojito, and that one was really good. I told the waiter I didn't like the drink, and his solution was to pour piñacolada mix into the drink witch I tasted but didn't drink. we pade $17 for each drink. The server was a talker and it took forever to get our check because he was socializing the other guy cleaning up the tables kept telling him to bring us our check it took a good 40 min to finally leave, and it wasn't evan busy

We've been in Havana 1957 (s) a few times and always liked them, but it was our first time in this relateviley new Ocean drive location, 4 blocks away from the other in Miami Beach. Food is delicious: ceviche is surprisingly good; try the guacamole con masitas, the perfect Mex Cubiche combination; and of course my fav Havan Chicken. Service is super kind . But most of all, we ENJOYED the Friday night show (It also runs on Saturdays). Oh boy, it was beautiful and so fun! We danced the night out with the performers! Excellent musicians, a beautiful singer with a beautiful voice, and two graceful dancers that put everyone to dance. DJ music afterwards to keep the adrenaline flowing and slowly relax. Perfect spot for the perfect latin night.

Excellent service from Humberto Fundora. Amazing food had the special for the night Mar y Tiera (surf & Turf) flank steak cooked Medium well, grilled organic Lobster Tail, grilled shrimp served with Morro Rice & sweet fried Plantain. And medium Guava Mojito from the bar. Wonderful Music, ambience and friendly staff!

We found out about this place from our Uber driver when we asked for a great Cuban cuisine restaurant. This restaurant was perfect and in South Beach! Enrique was our waiter and did a wonderful job! We’ll come back the next time we are in Miami!

The menu said the Cuban sandwich was award winning but I would disagree. The pork was so dry and hard in big pieces. There was mustard and cheese but the sandwich still tasted very dry. Would have appreciated some green sauce along with it. Yuca fries were good but there were only 5 fries.

Humberto fundora was our waiter and he was absolutely fabulous! And our food was as well! I had the fried Red snapper and my husband had the Cubano sandwich! We both had the original Mojito, everything was fantastic! 😋 everything about this area we love, the vibe the restaurant everything ❤️

Perfectly decorated interior with a small stage for live music. We had the Hemingway Special and the Havana Especial. Both tasted fine, but were boring and underwhelming. The Havana should have had maraschino in it, but I suspect it was left out. We ate the appetizer assorted croquettes which came in a 4 piece - 1 each ham, cheese, cod, and chicken. They were just okay. For lunch we shared a Cubano sandwich. It was perfect. No flavor overwhelmed another. The bread was crispy then melted away. It really was in my top 3 Cubanos ever. Worth the visit for this sandwich. The waiter appeared less than interested in waiting on us. But let's face it... South Beach adds 20% service charge to your bill automatically. They're getting a full tip regardless of how they serve you. Is this a disservice to the customer? Perhaps.... what are your thoughts?

Havana cuban was very fun with lovely food , a great place to watch Miami in action and not as expensive. This is Miami and you definitely need money to visit and have a good time. We got a pitcher of mojito because it was easier to share.

Service was quick for a party of 8. The server provided recommendations for drinks and even encouraged not to order a more expensive cocktail, which seemed bizarre. The chicken was delicious and peeled right off the bone. They did inform us of the 20% gratuity and how it is shared in-house with everyone.

The food was delicious , drinks amazing , ambiance very nice, music was a vibe and service was ok. I’d only wished we had another day extra to return here. The cubra libre was fire and we were full, plus the desert!!! was super tops! Loved everything about this place

The food was as delicious as I heard and it’s really worth the hype. I ordered the truffle fries, and the signature roasted chicken with plantains and rice. Such a perfect combination. It’s also a little tangy! The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant a solid 5-star is because the waiting time was too long. I had to wait around 20 mins before a waiter was assigned to me to take my order. I think they need more staff in this branch. It’s also a bit on the expensive side. But when it comes to food, all in all it was fantastic.

Service was Great. Loved our Waitress, didn't catch her name though. She kept the drinks coming and checked on us regularly. I got the "Cuban Platter". I also Forgot to tell her it was my Brother's Birthday ! Was having too much of a good time. 11pm was our reservation, right after a Marlins Game

Had low expectations on this place but anyways wanted to give it a shot. I was surprised with the vibes, unlike other places around its not just the performance oriented, rather customers can jump in and dance along whenever they like. The dancers were very friendly and always welcoming and involving everyone around. Drinks were expensive but worth it to spend for the performance.

Wow. I was not expecting much being in the heart of a tourist area but was I ever wrong. The food was spot on and I mean really good. Try the Cuban sampler to get a portion of chicken, pork, and steak. So good. The mojitos were good and they offer three sizes to save you money if you know you want more than one!

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!! Not a single piece of minced meat, only raw pasta and poured with tomato sauce. How?! How can this be offered?!? After that, my stomach hurt all day. ..But the most i...
