This place was such an exciting and stunning find. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so cute and classy. We were celebrating a birthday and we were so grateful for our gracious server, the photogenic venue, and the relatively cheap but rich in flavor food.

This was our third time here and we were very pleased. We love this place. The food was great. The drinks were on point and the service was excellent. Our waitress kiki was the best. Very helpful when trying to decide a sauce for the ceviche. She helped me choose exactly what I was looking for. We definitely will be back and will continue to bring friends and family here.

Great location and good is great. Tex Mex food and it did not disappoint. The tequila flight is worth it. All the shots all generous and the tequilas are excellent. There is a pool table and we had a blast having cocktails and playing a few rounds.

Chelas located in front of Main Street in Miami Lakes. Has in door and out door setting. Service was great along with the atomosphere. Food was better then I expected.

Stopped by for Happy Hour to grab a quick small bite and maybe a couple of cocktails because truth be told the HH menu looked decent and I needed to kill some time before a dinner reservation elsewhere. The issue wasn’t to be seated even though it wasn’t super crowded but the waitress ruined the experience for me because not only did she take 20 minutes to come get my order but then she seemed annoyed for some reason, obviously not my fault, and kind of in a rush to get my order and disappear yet again and that’s exactly what happened. The lobster tacos came out pretty fast, in all honesty and they were ok. Same for Tommy’s margarita which was actually good and refreshing but that was that and the woman ditched me again. I was trying to understand why she was rushing and disappearing when the joint was all that packed for God sakes so I can only assume she’s even worse later in the day. Anyways, no patron should be treated like that and even the hostess asked me if someone had already taken my menu and when I told her what was happening she acted as if that’s something common with that waitress so that says a lot. I’d like to come back and try a few other menu items and possibly sit and enjoy some of the live music but I’m a bit apprehensive for a good a reason, we shall see.

I went for their Taco Tuesday and the tacos were GREAT! Our waiter Ines was super attentive and got our food out to us very orderly and quickly. Loved the Spicy Margarita as well, will definitely be returning for another Taco Tuesday.

Good 🌄 Mexican food in Miami Lakes. Live music in bar area. Lounge sofas and chairs corner. The chicken quesadillas were very good.

Excellent service! Food and drinks were amazing! Great happy hour prices. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere inside and outside was perfect. Kiki was out waitress and she made sure we were taken care of. I'll definitely be back!

It's exactly what was missing in this area!! A big, fun, beautiful Mexican restaurant with an unusually friendly staff, gorgeous decor inside & outside. You can even dance by the bar with a DJ playing great feel-good music. There's a separate Party room with long tables, which I have my eye on, because I want to go there again for my birthday! Creative Mexican dishes are on the menu, which is so refreshing..and speaking of refreshing, their signature drinks are INCREDIBLY unique & delicious! Prices are commensurate with the area, not super cheap but not over the top at all. The staff is super fun & they all look like they love working there. Lots of "Instagram photo ops" throughout the restaurant..even in the bathroom!! Everything is spotlessly clean. You leave there with a great experience and wanting to come back again & again!

We celebrated my niece’s birthday with a lunch at Chela’s. We were able to bring in our own table runners and flower vases to set our “Selena, Tex-Mex” theme. It was a big party so we did have to wait a while before our food came out. Our server was patient but many of us had to repeat our order multiple times or remind her of our order. Anyway, I was impressed by their food: from presentation, to portion, to taste; it was all pretty good! I love the restaurant’s decor and enjoyed the ambience. Outdoor seating is just as awesome. I don’t think they have a designated parking area. I parked at the shopping plaza next door and thankfully was not towed. I will probably come back to try their “cocteles”.

First time here. We are new to the area. Glad I came on a Tuesday. The $2 tacos were super tasty, I had 5! Kiki took very good care of me and recommended the guacamole and chips. A-MAZE-N’. I’ll be back.

Love the ambience! We had an excellent dining experience, the food & drinks were delish compliments to the Chef!🧑‍🍳 We had the shorty, garlic shrimp, chipotle chick tacos and frozen passion fruit mango margarita. Our waiter Miguel was awesome, great service with a smile. This is our new goto spot for Taco Tuesdays and live music on Wednesday nights. Highly recommended!

Mexican restaurant with great food and ambiance! The food is amazing and the music gets you moving. Our server Suzie was a star! She knew what to recommend and had such a warm personality. If you’re looking for a quick yet tasty bite, the appetizers are a hit!! We ordered the Mexican Chicken Wings, Mini Short Rib Empanadas, and Churros. For drinks we really enjoyed El Boilmaker and Bajapanty 🤣😂

What an amazing experience! The food and staff were incredible. We had the smash burgers and fries and the fried mahi tacos sooooooo good. If you’re in Miami lakes definitely give it a try you won’t be disappointed. We’ve been to happy hour at the bar a few times and it’s really a fun time.

Great place! Love their Taco Tuesday promotion. Three lobster taquitos are delicious and you cannot go wrong with their margaritas! Kath is the best! Sit in her section if you can. Been here a few times and will definitely come back again!

Best Mexican food that I’ve ever had ! Beautiful atmosphere and awesome staff. Kat is one of the best waitress, very kind and respectful. One of the best places in Miami Lakes, it’s a must visit !

I've been to Chela's a couple of times as a spot to hang out as opposed to partying. The inside is more for the "nightlife" vibe while the outside is good for friends and family to chill. Great atmosphere all around, and versatile too. The area is also very nice. Food is solid! It takes a while to come out, but it's worth the wait. The beer selection is nice too, but a bit limited. Service is good, but can be a bit slow given the amount of people there. Overall, a decent hangout spot for an evening after work.

Mariano Marrero, yes had to make sure we got the last name cause he’s the main reason we keep coming back, was amazing yet again. Outstanding service, attention to detail and super welcoming, this guy knows how to guide guests perfectly. You need more people like him in this establishment, people that enhance the experience and are able to help you whether it’s a men recommendation or upcoming events. For us, who live in the neighborhood, this is special, it’s great to have places like this we can walk to on our community. PS. Give Mariano a raise or paid vacation cause honestly, he’s an MVP. Sorry for the bad pic but it is a pretty dimmed light establishment.

This place it’s amazing!!! They organize great parties the ambient and atmosphere it’s fantastic with great vibes . If you are looking for a place to eat authentic Mexican food , have fun and dance the whole night . This is the right place and prepare to be spoiled by their great service . Totally Recommended

I went there last weekend with my cousin and had such a lovely time. The place and ambience were so cool and different. Our lovely server Jae took really good care of us by making sure our needs were met. She explained the menu very well and gave recommendations. I’d love to go dine in again with her fun attitude.

The place is very nice same with the atmosphere. The DJ was a nice touch to the place. BUT !!! The only thing that my partner and I enjoyed were the drinks and the appetizers. The main courses such as the pork & Short rib tacos were extremely salty 🫨, The lomo saltado was also very salty and very small pieces of steak. The churros dessert also recommended. The Esquites & Mexican wings appetizer is a must, it is very delicious.

Great atmosphere and good quality food, a good menu selection and realistically priced - with good happy hour and daily deals. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend Chela's if you're in the ML area!

I had order the tacos and got three different kinds, they all had great flavor. Also had gauce and chips, both were delicious. The music was too loud and we were outside. One of servers had it turned down and then 30min later it got turned up again. The server even agreed it was too loud, they had a hard time hearing our order. But overall good food and nice outdoor area.

Great food, good music and awesome vives! A splendid combination for a wonderful night out. Awesome date night spot. The place is huge and the out side seating is very cute. Our Server was super friendly and she had terrific recommendations for all of us. We will be back soon.

I’ve been here twice so far and this place is really awesome. The Tommy’s Classic is definitely my favorite drink and the employees really make you feel like family. Great place to hang and get some drinks, better than the ale house next door for sure! Haven’t tried the food yet but I saw other peoples plates and I can say it looks good
