Most important thing is that it opens at 7 o'clock. The coffe is good. It serves different cakes. It is very interesting that there is a big table where you stay near to different people who read newspaper on real paper

Excellent coffee, good amount of baked goods. Wonderful interior space with both an upstairs and downstairs seating area. Friendly staff who were very patient when our children could not decide what to order. Public bathroom on the lower level as well as a free water dispenser next to the counter. The carrot cake was by far my favorite of their baked goods.

Classic Italian espresso making place, cool espresso machines that give an artisan vibe on extracting espresso from it. Had a nice time working here as freelancer with their staff.

Cute cafe and the egg tarts were yummy. Reason for the low rating is because my friend came to order coffee and was told that because the dishwasher was broken, we'll be served in Togo cups instead. That's fine. We stood around chatting and after a while, we noticed our drinks and tart wasn't ready and this was close to 10 minutes, but saw people order order and leave, but where's ours? My friend inquire and was told that the order never made it from the till to their order screen, so it wasn't made. So the staff stood there and couldn't figure out why 2 people that ordered continue to stand there standing? Obviously common sense was not there. Unfortunately, we never came back during our stay from around the corner and frequented another establishment instead.

Good coffee, good ambiance, friendly staff. Aside the coffee, they have other great beverages. Thanks for the chocolate cake ✌🏾

The shop is BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous lighting and a comfortable space to sit and enjoy the vibe. Pastry offerings are diverse with croissants, cakes and breads. I chose the custard tart - it was fresh and filled to the brim with delicious creamy custard. The coffee was smooth yet bold. It instantly revived me and energized me to continue exploring this wonderful town. I loved all the photos of beautiful people enjoying coffee and I also loved the mini shelves where we can place our dirty dishes. The espresso machine and grinders are all beautiful and I left thinking that there are many aspects of this shop I would pilfer if I were to ever open my own shop. They control the vibe by stating no laptops on the communal table so that people can actually commune! Laptops can be used upstairs. I wish New York coffeeshops did this because a bunch of people using laptops changes the whole vibes into a cold workspace. Here people are interacting, laughing or reading! Totally warm, human and nice 💜☕️

Very comfy place for us take our breakfast near out hotel. We ordered the green smoothie with spinach and Avocado, homemade applepie, lemonpie and chocolate croissant. Everything was delicious at very reasonable prices! Very kind stuff! I hope we'll be able to come again!

In my opinion, the best coffee house in Amsterdam. Excellent quality coffee, served at the correct temperature, never burnt. The selection of pastries is also fabulous and to a high standard.

Not recommended if you want to work. The wifi didn’t work. I used my mobile data. I worked on the ground floor of the cafe for about two hours on my laptop. Just before leaving, a waitress told me that laptops are only “allowed” on the first floor and I should remember it for the “next time”. This could’ve been communicated much earlier instead of when I was about to leave. The waiters had seen me working all this while. The waitress unnecessarily had an unpleasant interaction at the end. There won’t be a “next time” for sure.

Great atmosphere, perfect for a short pause as well as for a long reading/writing session. Coffee is great while food could be improved.

Best coffee and cappuccino I ever had in the Netherlands!! Also the cakes are very good. I also love the place, really cozy, perfect for a break on a Sunday afternoon or also to work/study. Super recommended

Tried a coffee pause in this place and honestly did not convinced me, especially when you can find such a remarkable coffee place a few meters away on the same street. Such an impersonal treatment by the “pretty faces” behind the bar and it took a long time to be served; time that I had to be standing waiting for my order next to the counter along with other customers as the the orders piled up.

Coffee very good, but pastries really not good. Tried 3 different things, and all either dry or eggy. At this price definitely would not recommend.

The chai latte was lukewarm and had barely any taste. Towards to end I noticed all the chai spice syrup was lying at the bottom of the glass, not the greatest experience.

Expensive and bad coffee and untrained baristas who don't know how to foam milk or pour decent art. Very dissapointed.

Really really cute coffee shop to enjoy some nice time, vintage style interior, good coffee, various cake choices, very nice slagroom truffel.

Lovely venue. I used to come here often and the coffee was great. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore, e.g. milk foam is too bubbly and airy. Staff seems quite inexperienced in general (sweet people tho), hopefully this will change soon :)
