I’ve been to this cafe throughout the years as I live nearby, but I always found the service slow and sloppy and the coffee just meh, so I tend to avoid it. I heard they’ve renovated and because I was around the corner I thought I give it another try. The place does look nice, but the service and coffee haven’t improved a bit. I ordered a double cortado and had to wait like 5 minutes for service- ok, I can wait. The lady at the bar seemed either very novice or some sort of intern- she misplaced the cup and most of the double shot went down the drain. She didn’t notice and so I made her aware. She said she would add a bit more espresso to my cup but ended up adding too much - triple cortado maybe? The cherry on top was that I got my coffee served in an ‘office coffee corner’ style plastic cup, stained from the leak. So, I ended up loosing time, having an overpowered coffee that I didn’t ask for and burning my hands as I went for a walk… so much potential, but alas, for such a priced coffee, I won’t be coming back…

It’s a relaxed coffee place. Nice for reading the newspaper on the couch or to get some work done on the laptop. Service it’s ok. Decent coffee and delicious sandwiches although I found them a bit overpriced even for Amsterdam prices

This newly renovated cafe is to die for! I want to meet whoever owns this place so I can give them a high 5! Amazingly super friendly service, fantastic coffee, and the interior - just wow!! It honestly feels like someone invited you into their home for a coffee! Definitely a place that makes you want to put your feet up and people watch for the rest of the day ☀️ Extremely well executed concept (excuses the pun!) I’m not sure if it’s just me but the girls behind baristas behind the counter could have just walked off a cat walk! Everyone was super good looking and so friendly! 😏 Did I mention the coffee is delicious and the presentation is 10/10?!

Very busy at the working day morning, the fashion design and furniture. If service and drink can be better then will come back again.

Burned espresso and the flat white tasted weird, we through our coffees to the garbage outside and went to another place. Also they had to come back to recheck our orders after we paid. Amsterdam is not a place where you drink a bad coffee with so many good roasters in town

Elegant, simple and classy Cafe. We had the freshly made croissants, coffee and freshly squeezed juices. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend gem on a corner street.

A few minutes walk from museums area. Relax and good atmosphere. Staff really nice. Good cafe to spend sometime there, especially outdoor during sunny days.

Two stars to give them the benefit of the doubt. Walked in on a Saturday morning at 8.45, so: door was open and one customer was already having a coffee. Mr. hipster moustache didn’t bother to greet us, no “good morning” or even a simple hello, just said: we’re not open yet. Come back in 15 mins. With employees like that, you don’t need a lockdown to eff up your business. Took our business to Le Pain Quotidien on the Schuyt, where they’re always friendly.

Nice place to grab a coffee. Unlike some in the area, it does offer a place to sit, and with a really original layout. It’s a little uncommon to order in the receiving desk without seeing the coffee machine. Coffee is ok, little bit burnt to me. Small cup is really small, the large one would be a typical normal.

They know what specialty means in specialty coffee. Great taste, good vibes, amazing coffee and genuinely good people. They help and service with care!

Coffee was really good and good selection one cakes and sandwiches which were all very tasty. Small cozy space though but we fit in a family of 5 comfortably. Highly recommended.

Absolutely horrible vibe with rude baristas... We weren't welcomed when we came in and were silently stared at. When asked for a normal coffee we got a question in an annoyed manner "But doable or single?!" - how americano can be doable though, you tell me. The only two good things there are: location and desserts (the best honey cake in Amsterdam). If the owner ever reads it - please, hire better and friendlier staff! It impacts your business so much!

Cozy coffee place with great natural sunlight during the day Inside is really nice and cozy and service is fast A bit on the pricier side and cappuccino was small

The place is newly decorated and it’s just gorgeous. The service and atmosphere were excellent as was the coffee. I highly recommend.

Interesting concept but I didn’t get it, does the concept change every now and then? Why do they use paper/plastic cups to serve coffee? What’s the link between Chanel and coffee? Questions questions. Maybe that’s why I’ll go back.

Absolutely stunning coffee ! Highly recommend this Cafe for a perfect oat milk latte, kind and lovely service from the staff, and a wonderful atmosphere all around. My husband doesn't drink coffee, and they had amazing protein shakes that he loved ! It couldn't have been more perfect. For a coffee shop to offer not just amazing coffee, but also additional options that are high level for non coffee drinkers - major kudos to this place ! Best coffee in Amsterdam.

Really great coffee just outside vondelpark! Can be busy due to the high quality pastries and excellent coffee. Highly recommended.

Nice place to grab a drink and relax in Vondelpark. The carrot cake is also tasty

Nice little coffee place. With good-quality coffee and baked goods. Super sunny and bright room. They are unorganized with how they handle the orders and process them which leads to some confusion.

Nice coffee but limited seating space so had to get a take away.

Good coffee and really great service. I needed to stay a little after closing to use their wifi and they were very accommodating.

Protein shake was having a taste of the spoiled fruits. It was also very hot in this place. Airco or few big fans are highly needed here for the warm weather

Good coffee and friendly service. Lots of fresh treats. Beautiful but small spot next to the Vondelpark!

CoffeConcepts is a tiny enjoyable cafe in Amsterdams’ museums district, only a few steps away from its nearby lush park, which can be your next stop should the cafe be too crowded to host inside. I wanted to try one of their protein shakes, which they offer on a variety of milk options to choose from and I have enjoyed a generous slice of honey cake (which luckily was not over sweet at all). If you are visiting on your own, finding a spot at the upstairs table is a great option for some good old people watching. The staff has been kind and efficient despite the large customers presence which at times can widen the overall experience. I do not seem to recall many interesting options besides cakes and croissants, which makes this a 4 and not a 5 ⭐️, but I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

The coffee is good. The service can be better, and more efficient, but definitely the ladies there are super nice. I also had matcha latte and a cookie, but those can be definitely improved as the matcha was all to the bottom of the glass, and the cookie was a bit burnt

I was there with my partner in October before making a visit to the Stedelijk Museum. They only had one employee both manning the cashier and making the drinks, which is already a bad sign—no matter the size of your coffee place you need two people behind the counter, one for orders and one for making the drinks. The employee was clearly already overworked and overwhelmed and a long line was forming all the way outside the shop, then I had to watch an older woman who I assume is either the owner or connected to the owner pick up a piece of paper from the overflowing trash bin, go up to the employee and complain she wasn’t emptying out the bin often enough. How do you expect a single person to clean the floor, take the orders and make the drinks? This place takes one star because treating your employees properly and providing them with a healthy and safe work environment is the first bar to clear, then we can start talking about the decoration or the quality of the coffee.

Iconic coffee store on a global scale !! Right next to the Vondelpark, and close to some of Amsterdam finest boutique stores. They elevate in more than just (their own) coffee, I highly recommend their sandwiches, juices 🥤 and sweets and the 🆕 interior looks absolutely amazing !!

👍 A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Don’t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
