Very nice museum over the collection mesdag and his wife has. More than I expected. Heel mooi leuk.

Very nice collection of paintings and art from various artists. Bring your reading classes (if you need any) because the beauty is in the details. Normally this is not my cup of tea but this collection combined with the atmosphere of the museum and the surroundings made it very enjoyable.

This museum was the Home of Mesdag, the famous painter and art collector who creacted the Mesdag Panorama painting. The building and the garden is next to the Peace palace and is well maintained. The collection itself has some excellent artpieces that even Van Gogh praised. A great hidden treasure of a museum.

Lovely and impressive collection of paintings. Definitely worth the visit. You will be overwhelmed with impressions. It is also in a beautiful old home with breathtaking views.

Very nice small and interesting museum most certainly worth a visit

Wonderful collection of paintings from the 19th century, inclusief paintings from Mesdag and from his wife. Also lots of other paintings from the"Haagse School" and from the Barbizon painters. All of them in a beautiful building, inclusief the former home of Mesdag. Also lots of other beautiful things, vases, gobelins, ceramics, all from Mesdags own collection. Highly recommended.

Nice collection with interesting painters. Lots of nature and marine representations (as expected) with a few original once like the Mancinis. The house itself is also quite nice with a very beautiful view on the Peace Palace and some background on the Mesdag couple.

The room decorated with ancient tapestries is impressive. A carefully selected collection reflects the house owner's taste.

Underrated gem! Lovely art, beautiful garden, nice staff.

Worth visiting! Small enough and big enough for a rainy Sunday. However, the volunteers at the desk were the most miserable beings I've ever seen. Miserable sour and unwelcoming faces with zero expressions. Not apt for facing the public. I would have preferred to interact with a hologram or a cardboard cut-out.
