I was charged $1,400 randomly days after my stay, when i was charged an up front fee of $750 on the day of the stay. I’ve been trying to talk to the manager but haven’t been successful. There are also failed attempts to charge my debit card on file more than a handful of times. I would highly recommend you stay away from this hotel! I am looking into legal action for this matter

The hotel suite was WONDERFUL! Nicely decorated, quiet carpet, 3 TVs, 2 bedrooms, plenty of clean linens. Wonderful breakfast variety of delicious foods. Very nice, safe, underground parking. Clean customer laundry room. Kitchen area "cute" and functional. Was impressed by personalized TV "Welcome."

These rooms are spacious and clean. I loved having the full kitchen available in my unit. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. While you don’t have access to quite the same amount of amenities of the more fancy hotels, this place definitely offers a really good value. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here with big tour / group and highly recommend it. While it's amazing for longer stays with the kitchens, I would love to stay here again even just for a night or two. The whole staff was lovely, the location is great, and PAM the manager was one of the kindest souls I've ever met. Thank you for everything!

Dominic has the best customer service I have ever experienced. He makes you feel like a celebrity, treats you with dignity. And will literally invent a solution to any problem. His discernment is unmatched. He is the single reason I have stayed and this property for for more than a day. I promote the property to friends, family and business partners. You have a customer for life.

The General Manager (Pao Vue) is a gem - he very graciously completed a check-in for us when our reservation dates were mixed up. A “very class act” - we appreciate you good sir.

We spent a special night out staying here for a weekend getaway and it was wonderful. Special shout-out to Leketa who provided top-notch service, offered an upgrade to our room, and secured early check-in for us. Leketa was so friendly and helpful to us, we were so appreciative of the amazing service!

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast.....we stayed on a Friday night...so breakfast is 7-10 am. There were many other people in the breakfast area when we went down at 9:30. Many of the hot food dishes were empty and were never refilled - there was gravy but no biscuits, 2 pieces of sausage left .....The gal working started taking things away at 9:50. She "kicked" one person out of the area at 10 - he was still eating! Very dissappointed in this as we have stayed in Marriott properties before and have never experienced this.

We reserved a room with a queen size bed, but it was actually a double. Their were guests outside of our room talking and laughing loudly until we called the front desk.

Stayed here two years ago, staying here again for work. Not one single change was made during the slow times in Covid, it’s the exact same deteriorating Towneplace that I remember. This is my favorite hotel that Marriott has, I stay at these properties all the time. 9/10 it’s the same layout, same modern look and amenities. This one is clearly older and it’s age and poor maintenance had begun to show my first time here and has only gotten worse in the two years since. Avoid this one, you have better options at this price.

Stayed here for a few days and I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable hotel experience. - room smells (or tbh the entire hotel smells) - the sink in the bathroom doesn’t work (they moved me to a new room and the one in the new room doesn’t work either, but whatever) - gym is p small with only two treadmills available Hotel staff is p friendly though so that’s a plus

Basic, clean rooms with an above average breakfast but lacking in amenities and in need of a refresh. Windows let in every last sound from the street and the standard queen beds pose a problem for taller travelers.

We haven't stayed yet – we will be this weekend (luckily!) – but wanted to share appreciation for the helpful staff! After making a reservation for the wrong dates (the date on which I was booking, not the actual dates we're visiting), the staff was quick and helpful to transfer the stay credit to our intended visit. We were impressed at their willingness to help correct a mistake that was clearly on us. Thank you!

Dominic at the front desk goes above and beyond his job! We had an amazing experience and working Dominic made it even better. Service industry is so tough these days and we know good help is hard to find, but Town Suites really lucked out by hiring him! THANK YOU!

I just witnessed the staff of this property deal with one of the most irate guests I have ever seen before. Their professionalism was unmatched. They provided multiple solutions that were rejected multiple times all while managing noise complaints regarding the irate guest at the same time. There were multiple attempts to literally wire, tap the staff by recording them without their previous expressed written consent. Every night of a hotel stay won’t be perfect but I’m very happy to know that the staff working that night knew how to de escalate situations very well.

The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, but this hotel needs an update. It definitely shows some wear. My last day I had a late flight back to LA and arranged for a late check out. Apparently nobody informed housekeeping. They banged on my door at 9am. Not happy about that. Underground parking is a plus especially if you stay here in the winter. Would I stay here again? I think that I will spend a few more dollars next time and stay in a hotel that's a little more up to date.

You will love it here! And you’ll love Dominic! He’s the front desk guy and honestly he makes this hotel phenomenal! I’m sure it’s hard working in this industry! After all, people are away from their homes and experiencing comfort away from home is a tough assignment but Dominic went above and beyond to bring comfort to my families stay! Thank you si much! I hope he sees this!

They took such good care of us. If you're lucky enough to check in when Dominic is at the front desk, you're in for a treat. Such a warm welcome, and he did everything he could to make us comfortable. This was our second stay, and we will absolutely come back.

This location has a staff member that needs full recognition for how amazing he is and how far he goes to make your stay comfortable. His name is Dominic! And he worked at the front desk! He went over and beyond to accommodate my needs. He recommended some amazing food venues, he helped me bring my belongings to my room, he was very kind and extremely informative! I enjoyed my stay every day that I was at this hotel! The food was great, the housekeepers were thorough. I will be staying at this hotel again! Thank you Dominic !!

Rooms were very clean and comfortable! Thank you to Ashanti for going the extra mile to grab my forgotten item from my room I was in,(202). Staff all weekend were great! Will book here in the future.

This place is falling apart. Our biggest complaint were the key cards and doors. We have a dog so we have to go out quite often. All doors are locked and you have to use your key with a magnetic strip. We didn't put our keycard by our phones or any other credit cards yet they never worked. We had to get new keys 2-3 times a day every day and we were there 8 days. We had the front desk staff try our keys too and they wouldn't work for them. We saw other customers have the same problem. One of the staff said they know all of the locks are failing and that the owner is spending $100,000 to replace them but is waiting on parts from China. Ugh. Very frustrating. Also, when we first got into our room it smelled of strong urine and there was a big fan running to dry the. carpet. We had to have housekeeping spray some carpet deodorizer all over and open the windows. They tried but it didn't help much. We didn't have any water in the kitchen sink at all so the repairman had to come and fix it. The towel racks are all about ready to fall off the walls, they are just barely hanging on. The place was pretty dirty, we used our cleaners and cleaned the best we could before moving in but it's really hard to clean when things are crumbling in front of you. This place needs a complete remodel. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. We feel bad that they have to try and hold the place together while the owner just rakes in the dough and they have to deal with all of the customers. We will say that the breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at a Marriott property.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience.... exactly what I need for a quick trip into MSP. Greal North Loop location with plenty of good bars & eating establishments very close by. Also, very quiet & much safer over in this part of MSP compared to the downtown area... especially on weekends. The manager on duty (Evelyn, i believe) was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. And, a pretty solid breakfast offering every morning is included....

I don't often write reviews but this stay was particularly bad. The staff was incredibly nice but not very helpful for these issues. The free wifi was hardly existent in my room (0.012 megabits per second). Tried to upgrade to the premium wifi, and it was impossible to get the selection modal back. Front desk had to call the hotel's internet service provider but it never ended up working. I needed to use the laundry room but couldn't because the only way to purchase quarters was with cash. I should've been able to purchase quarters and detergent with the card I had on file. Sheets on the bed had a stain on them and the mirror in the bathroom is chewed up somehow, like someone clawed the frame wood apart. The carpets in my room smelled like sour feet. Hard boiled eggs at breakfast were sour. Not a fun surprise in the morning...

Good location. Room was clean. Bed was ok. Shower in room did not drain well. Breakfast ok at best. Asked hotel for room service daily. No one serviced our room the entire time we were there. Shared shower and room service feedback on checkout. She ensured me we would get some bonus points for the inconvenience. Did not receive any. Don’t promise something you won’t deliver on.

Yes it is showing wear, but maybe not ready for update, just some paint and a handyman. One elevator was broke during our stay, but there are two. I really like the underground parking option. And I really like the pool table in the lobby, too bad the sticks are all broke. So it's either nice and over priced or priced right and needing an update, it depends on your level of pickyness. Rooms clean, breakfast more than enough, we did not use the pool or gym.

It feels a lot like home... Kitchen is nice size & for me the near downtown location is perfect. I have 2 little dogs (trained & well behaved) & they are welcome here. There is a nice area for dogs to do there business. My dogs are happy with our stay as well.

Got this place for my boyfriend and I plus my brothers and I wanted a place that offered separate rooms for that. Was perfect! My boyfriend said, “this is bigger than some of the apartments I’ve lived.” And he fell in love with the bed immediately. Loved the little kitchen. My brothers loved the pool and gym room. I wish the breakfast was better but was still better than other hotels I've been. Mostly wanted an egg option with no cheese but I get that most people like eggs and cheese together.
