Today I took my 2yo daughter out for lunch and we went to Jack Astor's here on Argentia, and as we entered the restaurant we stumbled upon the most incredibly, most beautifully Christmas decorated restaurant I've probably ever seen! It was awesome, and of course my daughter loved it! We shared chicken strips and fries, and the server was very friendly, quick with the order, never bugged us too much, and the food tastes great! I was very pleased with everything, highly recommend this location!

I stopped in for some nachos while my car was charging across the street, I really enjoyed the patio environment they have setup. The team was all polite and our server was great, took our order very quickly. The chicken nachos were excellent compared to other restaurants. I tip my hat to the management team running this location.

My birthday..... First time visiting this location was a charm. (Our usual is Dundas street, Mississauga)The decor is very charming, with bar, dining room, tvs framed art and lots if lights and mirrors to set the tone. Our server Ron was friendly, entertaining and professional. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which arrived hit snd very tasty... an appetizing sweeter tomato sauce. I indeed the Curry chicken which was extremely unique that it wasn't the usual soupy sause-y curry on white rice, but quite a sweeter curry on sticky rice, light sause on shickrn strips, cucumber slices, shredded carrots, fried tarrow strips, all adding to a texture explosion, very enjoyable and unique. The head chef Tania was kind enough to introduce herself to us, which was a very customer friendly experience. Overall, this location is operated exceptionally well. Congrats. Just a little faux pas... our $25 gift certificate was entered by our server Ron, but only discounted our almost $50 bill by the price of one entree, $24.79 instead of the full gift value.... 21cents is not an issue, but maybe a system check that needs addressing. Would surely recommend this location, the food and all the staff.

First time at this Jack Astor's location. I came to visit a friend nearby and we decided to gather here. The establishment was very clean and well maintained. We were assisted by a wonderful lady at the bar area, and I, unfortunately didn't catch her name. She was super friendly, polite, and very helpful. (This was yestarday Thursday Sep 28th 2023 around 4 pm) Kudos to her for marking our visit, even more pleasant. The food was awesome, and they do have a great Canadian beer selection... not just the regular american's terrible beer! 🍻🍺🍻🍺 Fully recommended 😉😎🤟🏻🍁🇨🇦

First time here. We got Memphis Steak, Holly Smoked burger, and the mushroom burger. I got my burger with the gluten-friendly bun, I felt the bun was too thick and not very fresh Other than that the burger was good. The truffle fries were great. Regarding the service, overall it was good but we waited over 25 minutes for our meals and the restaurant wasn’t busy either. I’m not from Canada and comparing this place to good burger places in the US I would say this was a bit pricier than expected.

My Holy Smoke Burger was very good. Really good bun and nice beefy tasting burger. Wish it had a little more bbq sauce on it and the onion straws. Fries were on point. Very crispy, served hot but not greasy. Both drinks we had were very good but for the price could have used a splash more alcohol.

It was a Sunday family outing. And we are so glad we went to Jack Astors. Time well spent. Food was delicious. Service was 100%.

The swrvice and atmosphere are great. The food had a few misses.. but Wanton Nachos were awesome and so was the garlic bread. However. The nachos were quite a small serving for the price.

Went for beers and lunch with the guys ordered a pitcher of beer and some food. Usually a pitcher of beer pours 4 glasses unfortunately the server was only able to pour 3 and 1/4 glasses so we had to order another round and when we got it the pitcher was full of head when it settled still only 3 glasses. When asked about it they say it's standard for only 3 glasses per pitcher. The food was okay but the fries were old and cold.

FIX your TVs!! The 3x3 tv screen has some TVs with discolouration and dark black spots. You bring in a lot of people for big sporting events but yet have very bad TVs Came to watch the super bowl. Previous years they had drink and food specials for Super Bowl but nothing this year. Bar side was completely booked with reservation signs. You would think that they would have enough staff for this event. Only had one bartender and one waiter for the whole section. The bartender was our waiter and even though he tried his best…our drinks weren’t being refilled quick enough. Management should have had more staff for this event. Food was decent.
