Loved the lunch here. Hospitality was great. Country chicken Briyani was awesome. Tasted the same I had in Chennai. Fish fry was A1. Highly recommend.

Spoiled biriyani/rotten smell/$120 gone/disappointment on new year. I wanted to give 0 star for my experience. I have ordered small tray of mutton chukka biriyani on 31st dec for new year. It cost around $120. I ordered for my guest whom I invited for the new year party. I picked the biriyani around 7pm. When I opened the tray around 11pm, I had the rotten smell and complete tray of Biriyani has been spoiled. Since the restaurant was closed at that time, I called next day morning and raised the complaint. They asked me to bring the biriyani back and I clearly mentioned that I am living 100kms away, they said we will do some thing for you either replacement biriyani or refund the money back. I travelled almost 100km from Barrie to Mississauga and gave the full tray of biriyani. After few minutes, they said we can’t give refund for this as we get complaint only from you, not from any other customers. I don’t understand, how come they are so irresponsible and provided this unacceptable reply. At least they should have tell the same through phone. I travelled all the way from Barrie, really I got frustrated with their reply. They should have checked the food before giving to any customers. When customers is travelled 100kms to get the food from your restaurant, you should have provide good service. I am living in canada more than 5 years now, I never had this kind of worst experience from any other restaurants. Good that we ordered chicken biriyani from BBQ tonight (this biriyani was too good till next day evening) so we managed with that, else everyone will be in complete disappointment on new year. When customer is raising complaint, please learn to acknowledge that first and try to response them back politely. Pathetic restaurant, you spoiled the reputation of Anjappar. If it reaches to higher officials, please take this matter very serious. You will get similar review from my friends also since our new year has been spoiled because of you. Also please try to teach your management people how to handle the customers.

Fantastic dinner experience! The host was very welcoming and prompt with the service! The food was good for the offerings in place! Came out quick and hot as well! The parotha was hot and fluffy and very filling! Chettinad chicken curry was the go to meal and it hit the spot! Chicken was well cooked and seasoned to perfection! Definitely a place to go if you’re looking for some South Indian flavour.

The guys managing this place in Mississauga and also the chef/s making food here needs to make a visit to Tamil Nadu to know how true Chettinad style food tastes. Just by mixing some pasted and masala don’t make a Chettinad style biryani. Looks like there is a change in chefs here. They mentioned mutton sukka biryani to be mild but was extremely spicy (I have tasted the mild biryanis in Canada and know what’s mild spice here). They were not ready to take feedback and I had to go and speak with the Manager after asking the waiter staff repeatedly reg food taste and spice. Giving two star ⭐️ because their Chicken lollipop and Chicken wings were good. Overall not a good experience n waste of money, even thou the occasion was for birthday dinner.

I've been to the Scarborough location many times but I only recently started coming to the Mississauga location. The food seems to be of the same quality here, maybe a little better than in Scarborough. Everything was tasty and well seasoned but I'm a little disappointed because the were hairs on multiple plates that we ate from (shown in one of the pictures). This has happened on multiple occasions as the plates and cutlery at the restaurant don't always seem to be cleaned properly. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice and all the servers were friendly. The prices seemed reasonable and I would still go back to this location again, hopefully the plates are cleaner next time lol.

The dining experience fell short as the food lacked any discernible flavors, and the service was subpar. Despite being the sole customers, the dosa arrived cold. On a positive note, the filter coffee stood out as a highlight.

Had mutton curry meals , veg meals , chicken biriyani , chicken lollipop. We used to dine in at anjappar bangalore , and anjappar Mississauga could maintain the same taste and quality like anjappar Bangalore. Nice atmosphere and good service too .

I don't have complaints on taste but their packaging for soup.look at the pic which had mutton soup. This is very hazardous for health. How can someone consume the food with these kind of packaging?

Great food, menu has variety and good for the price. We had crab roast with parotha and tandoori chicken. Very fresh and tasty.

Anjappar Mississauga never disappoints. We are have been a regulars over the past 15 yrs but always keeps the same standard. The Manager Parabahar is very accommodating and makes sure every guest is served respectfully. It's becoming harder to see nowadays in many other new Indian Restaurants. It's almost like they want you to go to Anjappar. Great team and great food.

We had the mutton chukka meals, chicken lollipop for appetizers and also a naattu kozhi biryani. All the dishes were delicious. I would reduce one star only because I feel the menu pricing is not justified for the interior atmosphere.

Ambiance was shady , food was average . Got Idli , mysore masala dosa , mushroom masala dosa and Kara dosa . Service was fast .

Was at the restaurant over the last wknd. Food was delicious (chicken thali) and more importantly the service was exemplary. We walked in at about 9 pm and their closing time was 10. Cause of when the food arrived we easily went past 10 but not once did the smile on Prabhu the manager and Megha reduce, that too after such a long day for them. The service with a genuine smile made the experience a whole lot better. Thank you!
