Hosted my daughter's baptism there just recently, can't say how amazing this place was. Not only was this place absolutely breathtaking. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was excellent our server Jason was just a gem and the manager was remarkable. Basically everyone that works there is extraordinary. I'll be sure to host many more events here.

Otherworldly and Heavenly experience from head to toe. We did a couples full body scrub, facial and head massage.........have never experienced anything, anywhere remotely close to this 3-1/2 hours of bliss with Aneta and Crystal. They were fabulous. Lisa was professional and welcoming from the very first contact and we felt isolated and completely safe in our own retreat. My first time here but definitely not our last!!

I can't express how happy my family and I were to have my bridal shower here! The service start to finish was impeccable, even throughout the booking and planning process. The facilities are also very clean and modern. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

My second last time the there was for Wedding which was wonderful in every regard. Sadly my last and final time there was this weekend. It started off poorly and got worse. When we booked our overnight I didn’t realize there was a getaway couples special where a $100 dinner credit is issued. The front desk said that the manager won’t let us have it because that’s not what we booked. (?) Our room was dirty and not made up from the previous patrons. We went back to the front desk. The clerk wanted to see the room for herself so my husband had to go back and show her. We had to wait almost a half hour for another room and were told it would cost us more because it was a king room! We could discuss it with the manager tomorrow if he was in. Our room was pathetically small. The bed occupied almost the entire room. We had to ask for soap. We were assured there was wine glasses in the room. There wasn’t. We were also told that breakfast came with our stay. The next morning, the new clerk on duty did not honour that and said she’d have to ask her manager who wasn’t in. The only consolation we were given was $20 off the bill so we didn’t have to pay more for the king room . The quality of the food and the waiter service at dinner were the only redeeming qualities of our stay. Other than that, our stay was horrendous and we won’t be returning. We had hoped it would be ‘our place’ to stay because we had our wedding there. It would seem, that from our recent experience, that this place only caters to banquets and large functions. They care little about couples staying there. I would never recommend to anyone to stay there. It may look nice at first impression, but their customer service is sorely lacking. It’s not worth the money. We have stayed in enough places that we know terrible and good service when we see it. Never again.

This spa is an absolute gem in Mississauga. The staff are warm, friendly, and above all amazing at their job. I treated my mom to do the full 60 minute body massage, body scrub and scalp massage package with staff named crystal. It was fantastic. I recommend asking for Crystal as my mom said she was caring and ensured she received an excellent experience. The icing on top— the spa has an adorable cabin feel. (Pictures attached!)

My husband and I had our wedding here in December 2022, and we can't thank the staff and the managers enough for our incredible experience! The planning and preparations leading up to the wedding were wonderful, both Faye and Maurizio took their time to answer all our many questions. With all of the last minute changes to guest lists and set-up that we made, they ensured that everything would be what we hoped. The day itself was wonderful. The staff were very kind and helpful, and Maurizio took wonderful care of us that entire evening! There were more last-minute changes during our reception, and the staff were incredibly professional in handling everything that came up. The food was delicious and the building was incredible, our guests loved it so much! I highly recommend booking your wedding here, the Inn is such a unique location, especially for a winter/fall wedding. Our guests loved that they could stay the night at the Inn as did we. We will definitely be coming back for a night in the future. Thank you all so much for an amazing wedding!

What a beautifully designed hotel and restaurant. My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here and our experience was exceptional. The service was absolutely phenomenal! Jason was a great person to interact with and he really made us feel special. The food was also quite delicious and everything was served to perfection. Very happy to have this gem in our community.

I had my bridal shower here and I cannot express my satisfaction enough! The room was beautiful and clean. The staff were nothing short of fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. I received so many compliments on the whole event. Very pleased with everything they had to offer!

Beautiful, comfortable bed and cozy room. They gave us a free upgrade to a king room which was very much appreciated. These was no carpets which is great as we don't like very much in hotels. High end bathroom pieces, very clean and courteous staff. Will visit again for sure. Highly recommended.

I loved photographed a wedding here (images are prior to the renovations)! The team was excellent and very helpful. The grounds are well maintained for your couple, family and wedding party photos. Beams in the reception space make for a unique and cozy atmosphere. Look forward to working together again!

Went here today for a bridal shower and the venue is amazing! Loved the food! I got the salmon with vegetables it is to die for! Tried the chicken and it was so moist and tender! Servers were very pleasant, the manager was very welcoming. Will consider for future events!

Choosing the Glenerin Inn for my wedding day was the absolute perfect decision. We held both our Islamic ceremony (Nikkah) and Walima here on the same day, and it was truly the best choice we could have made. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The venue itself boasts a beautiful aesthetic that served as the perfect backdrop for our pictures. Minimal decor was needed, as the natural charm of the Glenerin Inn speaks volumes. What truly sets this venue apart is its incredible team. From the coordinators we worked with leading up to our wedding, to the receptionist and waitstaff on the day of, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They made the entire process effortless for us, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day without any worries. One of the most remarkable aspects of the Glenerin Inn is its commitment to offering Halal options. As a couple wanting to uphold our religious values, we felt incredibly fortunate to have found a venue that not only accommodated our needs but exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend the Glenerin Inn highly enough. From its stunning setting to its affordable options and, most importantly, its team of kind-hearted professionals, this venue truly made our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you to everyone at the Glenerin Inn for making our day absolutely perfect

We had our daughters wedding there on June 16th. Can’t say enough great things about Glen Erin Inn and their staff. The renovation is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and love the bathrooms. All our guest enjoyed themselves! The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. A big thank you to Faye for helping make my daughter and her new husband a day to remember!

Had our wedding at Glenerin - it was perfection. Lovely historical building, friendly staff that looks to accommodate your needs, top-notch food. Enjoy having dinner here every so often. Again, great food and very friendly, obliging staff. Just a fantastic experience every step of the way.

A lovely little oasis in the suburbs. The service was really great. Very polite and sweet unlike many other places we have been to. Everyone from the check in staff to the servers were so wonderful 👏. The rooms are nice and modern. The decor is lovely and they have such a peaceful back terrace where you can have a meal or a drink. Nice walking trails as well. Only wish they had an elevator for the upper rooms so you don't need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Other than that, this place is a gem.

My husband and I got married here on Oct 21st and had the pleasure of working with Faye and Randy. In the 11 months leading up to our special day, catering manager Faye made the whole process feel like a breeze. The day was so perfect and we got endless compliments on the food, decor, staff, and rooms. Randy was our point of contact on the day of and ensured all our needs were met and was very friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic, location is beautiful, rooms are clean and modern. We will be back!

Love the hospitality. I travel for business frequently and I feel like a welcome guest at the Glenerin. I've been treated so well we've booked our quarterly mtg as well as season party with the Glenerin.

We held our wedding at the Glenerin Inn and it was the best decision we could have made. This place is basically high quality/great value for a really good price. All of our guests were so impressed with how delicious the food was, and the quality of the liquor. The bar selection was incredible. The venue was stunning, rustic, and perfect for a winter wedding. Especially with the fireplaces on and the hanging chandeliers. There’s a ceremony room, a reception room, guests rooms, a spa and a restaurant, so this place is definitely a one-stop shop for a wedding. Faye and Maurizio were so easy to work with, extremely responsive, attentive and professional. We didn’t have a single issue with the venue. We also stayed in the bridal suite which was very spatious - and the bathroom looked beautiful! This place is perfect for a small wedding and the food is a standout

If you're looking to have a special occasion reach out to Maurizio & Faye! They will treat you like family! We couldn't have asked for better consults for our wedding! They were amazing with each guests dietary needs.

We stayed on Sept 23 at this place. We were given the room #218, a room that is a size of a king bed, and the ceiling so low that you have to hit your head to make it to the washroom. The management decided to give this room, despite they knew there was a wedding. It's just located close to all the action, and the music / door slamming (+ it's next to stairs) went on and on till 2 am in the morning. Such a poor organization. Did you think whoever you gave that room would ever come back?

We had our company gathering at Glen Erin. Food was good. The party room was spacious enough for the number of people we had in our gathering. There was some confusion about the pre-requested food items for some individuals. There was no arrangement for the sound system, had to bring our own. It was a bit strange considering that there was a projector screen but no sound system. Location was good. Easily accessible.

This is a lovely Inn and has many pluses to it. It’s obvious from other reviews that refurbishing of the rooms has happened (at least in the carriage house), because we had lovely rooms. The staff seemed to be pulled in every direction- the check in and check out was extremely slow, with many interruptions for one receptionist. The receptionists seemed very awkward in handling and prioritizing her tasks. While 3 people are waiting to check out, she was having to take calls for other staff to find chairs, etc. It seemed that the computer was painfully slow and I wasn’t sure why I would have to produce the same credit card to check out, when it was already on file. Many hotels don’t even require a check out to be done - an email is sent. We were convinced by a very nice staff person that we should stay and dine in the restaurant and she claimed the steaks were the best anywhere, and the 6 of us decided to dine there. No fault of hers, but my steak had to be sent back twice to get a medium rare steak! The one salmon dish was very over cooked as well and very underwhelming vegetables. Again, the waiter went out of his way to make it right and we were comped three desserts. It was obvious there were many functions happening, but it seems that staffing and better software/customer training for staff would be helpful. We did enjoy our stay for the most part.

Attended a Christmas party. Beautiful elegant place. Service was excellent. Buffet lunch had good variety. It is not really a walkable venue and parking is an issue for larger groups.

  • 1/5 Cheryl H. 4 months ago on Google
BEWARE OF THEFT this stay was for Christmas shopping in the city. Between the hours of 7pm and 10:45pm, someone entered the room and took only one item from a large bag of presents that were bought earlier in the day. We are thinking they were hoping it wouldn't be noticed that it was missing until we were home, which is what happened. If you have a portable spy camera, you may want to bring that with you when you stay at this hotel.

Such an amazing venue ! We attended a wedding here in the fall and it was fabulous and we hosted our own wedding here on Dec 31 2019 and it was perfect. Food and service all amazing. The staff worked with us and accommodated everything they could. Let’s us do our own sweets tables, upgrade wine, rearrange the room exactly how we liked. Super happy with them. I hope your business is still going strong even through the pandemic. It’s such a wonderful spot. Especially with the hotel rooms on site. Many people said they felt like it was kind of a destination wedding with everyone being able to stay over.

We had our intimate wedding at The Glenerin and was BEAUTIFUL! It was very stress free since the staff took care of everything very carefully. Also, Faye was so patience with us and answer all of our questions. Apoorva was in charge of our night and everything went smoothly. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to celebrate more ocassions here!

Quaint little hotel that is in desperate need of upgrades. Our room had a musty smell and really odd wall angles, the lock/door was difficult to open. Bed was comfy but the heavy winter duvet in August was a hassle. In room coffee was quite good but no stir sticks or creamer supplied. The grounds were lovely and close to nice walking trails. The front desk staff were indifferent/apathy level high. This place could be great with a bit of refreshing. The old carpets and worn look are depressing. They also need to add things like USB ports for device charge. (The clock had an old iPhone/iPod dock)

We had our wedding ceremony and reception on August 14, 2021 with family and friends. We were the first event since the closures in March 2020. Faye ensured our day was seamless and special in helping us prepare and organize. Apoorva took care of minor details and made sure things were on schedule and performed in a timely manner. Norman helped to check in our guests and the bridal suite was ready for us. We did not need to worry about a thing on our day except to enjoy the company of our guests in a lush outdoor setting and the quaint Credit Valley reception room. The service from the staff was exemplary. In addition, their connections with some of our vendors (plush Flowers and Maximum Music DJs) made our day beautiful and one to cherish. Thank you so much for your herculean efforts in creating a beautiful event during a pandemic for our friends and family. Vanessa + Carson Shaw

Good Morning, Maurizio I just wanted to thank you for yesterday. Everyone commented on what a lovely place the Glen Erin Inn was to host a celebration of life for mom and how wonderfully accommodating that you, yourself were when our estimated guest count expanded significantly. Thank you also for the non alcoholic beer you were able to provide for myself. You are indeed a most gracious host. Sincerely, Brian Burnett.

After weeks of planning a romantic getaway for my husbands birthday. A well deserved and long awaited getaway. The day finally arrived, As we checked into our room we were greeted by a bedbug, yes...I have very clear photos of it!!! We immediately left and informed the front desk. I was extremely disappointed and distraught but kept my composure. Spoke to clerk at front desk and showed photos. It was very evident that it was a bed bug a very large one at that..it must have been feeding for a while. Needless to say we highly recommend that if your are planning a special event at the Glenerin Inn be very careful and beware of BED BUGS!

Attended a meeting in the Evans Room. Great staff and venue is beautiful. Even though there was another event in the other room we didn't really hear them. Just wish the bathrooms were bigger.

Very cozy and comfortable hotel. My family attended a wedding last night and the room we stayed in was well maintained and had a nice view. Function hall was enough for 50-70 people and also was well maintained, it got this country side vibe which is a plus and its really good for wedding celebrations. Food was great too and their steaks are cooked to our liking. Also, their staff are very welcoming and accomodating. They made our stay like home away from home.

A taste of heaven! I could easily do this once a month for the rest of my life. Such a beautiful retreat in Mississauga. I was taken there for my birthday last year, I had never had a massage quite like that before in my life! Also, as a male - the facial and pedicure was a first for me as well. I was totally blown away by the service that was received. The ladies who catered to us/me were so professional beyond belief, nurturing, calming, reassuring, and highly experienced - (not to mention easy on the eyes) - I just had to throw that in. I could honestly just go on and on and on about them. The hotel room was very quaint and comfy, we loved it and would defiantly stay again!

Beautiful venue for a wedding, very well organized with professional and helpful staff and servers. My accommodation, however, was unbelievably tiny, with a ceiling entirely too low for a 6'2" guest. Others in our wedding group had paid the same for their single queen rooms, but had upwards of 50 percent more physical space than we had. Shout out to Maurizio for running a tight ship on the wedding reception end of things.

Amazing quaint location and spa. My arrival was delayed due to a flight over the spa offered to stay late in order for me to have a manicure. Great service. Room was a bit small and an issue with the lack of hot water on my final morning there. The situation was quickly resolved by the manager. Polite and accommodating. This is an older inn with smaller rooms. You may want to book a suite or the carriage house to have a bit more space. The landscaping colours are fabulous. Peaceful and serene location. A must to escape to in our busy and crazy world. Will definitely return.

Beautifully designed multi space built environment that was able take in as many events at the same time. As we were celebrating a wedding... others were having luncheon.. others book launching etc. Much sought out by patrons. We traveled.more than 19 kilometers from our hotel to this awesome place.

I have been coming to the Glenerin Inn spa for years and every time I visit I am blown away by the quaint atmosphere, delightful staff and amazing spa treatments. I have had the best massages and facials at this spa. This is a gem in Mississauga - the staff, service, professionalism are outstanding. I look forward to my seasonal visits and Friendly chats with the wonderful ladies at the spa! Lisa and Crystal are simply exceptional !

I had my wedding at the Glenerin Inn in early October 2022. I wanted to reach out following the wedding and give Faye and Maurizio and the staff a big thank you. My husband and I had a great time, we felt really taken care of by Maurizio throughout the night, and really saw how all the preparation Faye and I talked about came together. Everything was perfect and we are really grateful we chose Glenerin Inn as a venue. We absolutely loved it!!! I feel like I had zero worries on the day of and that was a big relief because both hubby and I were a bit overwhelmed! The food was delicious, so compliments to the chef!! We are vegan and we wanted our wedding to be all vegan, which did not really exist on their original menu. Please send the catering team a big thank you for being so accommodating of our special diet and for building a menu just for us <3

We got married at the Glenerin Inn, and last summer, and even though we are biased because it was our wedding, we think it was probably one of the best weddings we’ve ever attended. All the staff were amazing, and the make wedding planning really easy. We didn’t have to hire a wedding planner to keep things going because they seemed so well organized and on top of things it wouldn’t be needed, and it wasn’t. Faye was great at making suggestions and had a lot of great ideas and solutions. The pacing of the event was prefect, we wanted the ceremonial part of our wedding to be short and sweet. We basically just wanted it to be a fun day and party and the venue and vendors all delivered. Everything from the ceremony to cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres to dinner was a really well timed. We’ve been to weddings where it really feels like you are just waiting around for the next event to happen, getting hungry and bored but the venue really was on top of things and kept everything going so we could just celebrate. The only negatives we had that day was the weather and our room. Unfortunately our wedding day turned out to be the hottest weekend of the summer. While they can’t control the weather, I think being a historic venue, their AC could not keep up. Both in the reception room and in the bedroom. Also the room that you can reserve for the wedding couple wasn’t accessible. I forgot to tell the reservation staff that we needed it to be accessible, but we did let the event staff know that our venue had to be accessible. So my eldery/sick parents weren’t able to visit with us while I was getting ready and the room is 3-4 stories up, and there weren’t elevators to what felt like a tower. Again that wasn’t fully their fault as I didn’t tell everyone but it would be helpful if there was better communication between the event staff and the booking staff in case people forget. So overall, it was a great and gorgeous venue and we had a really fun time. But I would recommend being a little careful booking a summer wedding if you cannot handle the heat.

The Glenerin Inn did an amazing job coordinating my bridal shower! We had our requests accommodated throughout the changing covid restrictions and all of my guests were very happy with the food and service. The service from Maurizio and the other servers was exceptional. Our party room in the venue was beautiful and spacious. Bonus points for free parking. Excited to go back for Sunday brunches with my family!

Recently had a bridal shower here, and it was such an amazing day! The Credit Valley Room was gorgeous - all the guests complimented the venue. Faye was amazing to work with and extremely responsive to every question I had. The waitstaff were so attentive and sweet! Throughout the whole day they made sure everyone got their meals on time, they cleared tables at the perfect moment and assisted with all of the last-minute requests I had. Maurizio was the sweetest person ever to work with - he was so attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were okay. The only annoying part was when the fire alarm went off randomly and lasted for some time - however this wasn't within their control and stuff happens. But other than that, I had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend this venue!

We hosted our wedding at the Glenerin this weekend - after such a long road with COVID we really could not have been happier with how our wedding came together. Everything was arranged perfectly exactly as we had requested. Our coordinator for the night Maurizio was amazing, he constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy and having a great time, the guests couldnt stop talking about the food, atmosphere and service, everything was perfect.

Me and wife went for a romantic getaway package for 1 night. The room we got was really small. There was a coffee maker but no pods. No water. No water, tea bags or coffee . Even after asking for it we did not recieve anything. Waited in the front lobby for 20 mins for the receptionist to get some water from the kitchen and after that she tells me they don't have any more water bottles. This place is very much understaffed from what I felt staying there. When calling room service they ask to get contact the front desk. The only good things about this place was the dinner. Dinner was really really good. And the server David was great. Really nice guy . The food was fresh and really tasty. I would recommend to just go there for the food. The romantic getaway package is a joke from the experience me and wife had.

Beautiful hotel, amazing quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a wedding there and it was perfect except this old building is not accessible for wheelchairs. The first floor is ok but ramps are narrow and steep. There is no access to the rooms on the second floor and beds are so high that it is difficult even for healthy people to get in.

The real shining star here would be the catering/bar staff. Attentive and quick service. Food was really great. Attended a wedding here. Reception area has been updated a bit and is functional for <60. The old style throughout the rest of the property w/the wooded area in the back is quite nice.

We had a wedding reception here at Evans room for 60 guests max. I separately rented the chair covers and sashes. Beautiful venue, great bar and hors d'oeuvre service. Everyone enjoyed the main meals as well. We had lovely adjacent patio for private use for our group as well. Lovely venue for intimate reception, the guests were quite impressed. The staff were very accommodating through the whole process of initial visit booking, finalizing details and coordination on the day itself. Lots of parking for guests.

Was there for Mother's Day - my mother and I both got a hydrating relaxation facial. When I say run? RUN to this place! I was taken care of by Crystal and my mother was taken care of by Aneta. Both of us have NEVER been so happy with a spa service before. Both ladies knew exactly what they were doing and they definitely made our mother's day. I strongly recommend both ladies and we will be back to see them again! xo
