The Reason why I even went to get food there is because of their high 5 star reviews. I was searching for something different I type on google @The top best shawarma near me'' and boom they were in top ones!!! When I arrived they were so welcoming and the place so clean. Staff very social. My brother is coming in town for his birthday and I told him I will have him discover one of the finest middle eastern best!! Thanks guys see you soon!!!

There's a good reason why Lezzet frequently has lineups, so be patient when you arrive because it's worth it. Went back to back days for the first time last week. I got the Ali J (Chicken on rice or fries, w all the sauces - $11.50 for a large ) on Friday and the chicken shawarma platter on Saturday (includes up to 4 side salads with garlic and tahini - $13.25) I can safely say this is a top 3 shawarma house in the GTA, prices are extremely fair for the portion sizes offered, ingredients are all fresh and the meat is tender and juicy without feeling greasy or heavy. The only shawarma place I've been to that offers BBQ sauce which is a nice complement to the dish. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Lezzet to others, thank you to the family running the business for the wonderful experience

My friend told me about this place saying it was the best shawarma platter he ever had so I had to try it out. Came here at a time where it wasn’t too busy which was nice as we got our food right away. Me and my friend both got the mixed shawarma platter so chicken and beef. They stuffed every crevice of the platter which is always good to see. When taking a bite, everything from the seasoned rice to the sauces to the shawarma meat were perfect. The pasta they provide which is something new to me at a shawarma place was extremely underrated. Very well seasoned and surprisingly went very well with the meat and sauces. This by far is one of the best shawarma platter places in Mississauga. It’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t had a platter meal from here. They do it differently than other places but in my opinion it’s one of the best BECAUSE they do it differently.

The chicken here is something special. It is deliciously flavoured and they take it right off the skewer, which helps keep it moist and tender, unlike other shawarma joints that put the meat on the grill resulting in dried and overcooked meat. No matter how you get it here, whether in a wrap or on fries or rice or even a salad, you won't be disappointed. Certainly one of the best, if not the best, shawarma joints in the GTA!

This is my guilty pleasure. Me and my partner would come here twice a month on a Friday evening to have dinner. Definitely the best chicken shawarma plate you can ever find in this part of Toronto! The owners are friendly too! Despite serving many customers nonstop, they are still able to smile and make jokes. Made the long queue worth it. If you come during lunch time, the queue is usually shorter (10-15 mins wait top) but be prepared for longer waiting time for evening peak times (30-45 mins) but it is worth it. On our last visit decided to try their falefel, it is made fresh and great taste too!

This was my first visit to the restaurant and WOW it was very good. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter. Very delicious. It’s enough for two or three people I think, so I’ll have leftovers for tomorrow. I can see now why they have so many good ratings. I will definite go back next time I’m in the country. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved trying Lezzet shawarma for the first time. The stands out compared to majority of the other places. The shawarma sauce and garlic sauce are both great and the chicken was beautifully cooked and shaved off of the spit with some nice crispy bits. The service was great! The guys working behind the counter very polite and courteous despite the lunchtime Rush. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap which I loved! And we got the daily special shawarma plate.

We've been going here for years and absolutely love it! We've tried other places in Mississauga but these guys are superior. The food is fresh and flavourful every time. Staff is quick and helpful. The place is always busy but the line moves quickly. My favorite thing to order is the mixed wrap but I'd also recommend the dinner platter or Ali J's

I was told by this place by a few people so I was in the area and I went to try it for myself I must say it was absolutely amazing. Another great Shawarma place discovered in Mississauga. I've been more than 30 Shawarma places all over GTA but not sure how did I miss this one? I was just passing by and stopped in the plaza to grab something quick, but guess what Lezzet had a long line up and I was like it definitely would be a great Shawarma, I was late but still waited for the order. It took a while but totally worth it. Great taste, flavorful and clean food, good customer service. Highly recommend this place if you are a Shawarma fan.

Simply the best shawarma I've ever had. We got the Ali-J chicken on rice. It was almost like the chicken was melting in my mouth. The prices are amazing for how big the portions were. We got lucky and avoided a big lineup before noon on Saturday, but by the time we sat down with our food, the line had already reached the front door. It would have been worth the wait, though.

Amazing chicken shwarma, I don't know what it is, but it simply smells and tastes like no other. Definitely in my top 3 if not the best. Staff was also very friendly.

Just wow! My first time at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The staff walked me through their menu and explained the different options. I tried the Maria’s plate from the Hall of Fame section of the menu. The meat was fresh and all toppings and sides were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back here again.

This place was super busy and had a great vibe. I ordered the special of the day which was the Ali J’s platter. The chicken was delicious and I loved the shoestring fries! I kind of wish I didn’t get the special shawarma sauce and had just stuck with the garlic, cuz I didn’t realize the special sauce was sweet. Apart from that though, it was a solid spot!

Good quality meat, Ali-j tastes great. Has a unique taste, sweeter than other on-the-rocks dishes from other Shawarma restaurants. Friendly staff, reasonably priced. 4 stars for the hours, closes way too early. Have wanted to eat here many times but realized it's closed.

Finally decided to come try this place, got a chicken shawarma wrap for my friend and the Ali J on fries with chicken shawarma meat on top. The Ali J is good. I wish the shoe string fries that they use were a little more crispy, but flavour wise, no complaints. Is this the best Shawarma in Mississauga? Yes and no. Based straight on the taste Definitely top 3, Sumaq and Pita and Grill, in my opinion are up their with them. While the staff are nice and professional I feel like the customer experience can be improved if the restaurant had say a chef de parties or sous, who was just responsible for the timing and overseeing the orders being made. From the time I arrived, to the time I received my order and left, was 35 minutes. Which is crazy considering its a Shawarma Joint. A fixed person on cash, 2 on making the wraps/boxes, 1-2 on slicing the spits fresh.and fries, would make the expression more customer friendly. Everything is made fresh and in front of you which I commend, but that wait time needs improvement. Sumaq or Shelby make their pita in house too, and the longest I've been in their was 20 minutes. Strictly off taste, Definitely top 3 in GTA, the whole experience though is why I can't say it's the best. Would definitely come back again, but only when they have just opened. 8.25/10.

The food is great don’t get me wrong but THE LINE AND WAIT TIMES ARE ATROCIOUSLY TERRIBLE! Don’t be fooled by the whole “if the line is long, the food must be great!” trope, cause it does NOT apply to this place! The staff is slow and takes their sweet time (3-4 mins for ONE customer), and I had to wait 45 minutes in line yesterday to get my food. Snails should replace the current staff and I’d give this a five star. Just look at the pictures I attached below to see the ridiculousness of the line. Apart from that, prices are reasonable and the quantity and taste are really good! It’s very flavorful and its not your typical, traditional shawarma joint. They have innovative ideas and their dishes have great fusions of various Mediterranean cuisine. I recommend to come when NO ONE is in line!

Stood in line for a good half an hour. Ordered Large Ali J’s, the sauce taste was sweet even the hot sauce was also sweet. The portion kf chicken was good but overall the food had just one taste which is sweet.

As my boss would say, these guys are the best throughout the GTA. Went here twice. One time was pre-covid with my friends and the second time was today. They’re on demand because there was a line up When I arrived. But it was worth the wait. I had a chicken shawarma and I couldn’t finish. The portion was pretty good. They have a limit of up to 9 customers so I think it’s much better to do pick up if you’re really hungry. Leftovers anyone? It’s a big portion.

Best shawarma place hands down the quality control of their food is very consistent and their in house shawarma sauce cannot be found anywhere else. Update: Ive been here over 30 times and the service and food has not wavered in taste at all. The dudes working here are so chill and I legit come here every week (sometimes 2) becuz the food is so fire. I want rights to their shawarma sauce and market it it somehow i would become a millionaire. I will ask these guys to cater my wedding in the future.

Best chicken on rice in the GTA. Get the Ali-J with half rice, half fries. Sometimes there can be a line-up and their hours aren't that good. Food is amazing though and the guys are friendly.

If you ever crave shawarma in Mississauga , Lezzets is the number #1 place I recommend my family and friends to go to. From the service , to the quality of the food & attention to detail, lezzet does not miss. The chicken is always fresh and tender. My favourite part about the plate is the fries , they remind me so much of McDonald’s fries. 10/10

This is my favorite shawarma restaurant in GTA. Their shawarma meat are tender, juicy and has very strong meat flavor. The price is nice and the size of food is large enough to fill my stomach. Their rice has a good amount of spices and other ingredients which make very special as well. I am a meat lover so I tried all their meat cuisines, like wrap, platters, fries, rice and salads. I like the all and will keep coming in the future!

No one can beat them in there taste. I eat everyday but the only negative point from my point of view is that the food quantity is low compared with other if they increase that then it will became best shawarma shop in the world

Place was jammed for lunch but well worth the wait. Ordered the Ali J - Chicken on rice (large) and the Mixed platter. Delicious! Meat was flavourful and the sauces were the best I've had! A+++

I got the large beef and chicken Ali-J with rice. The chicken was seasoned perfectly while the beef for some reason tasted exactly like lamb? The rice wasn't seasoned at all which was disappointing but for 13.50 after tax the price was very good for the amount and quality of the food.

Wow....so $12 plus tax for a large mixed shwarma meal with a pop. Can't beat these prices. Especially with the inflation and price gouging. The service is also amazing !!! Everyone is so friendly. I can't get sick of this food....it's that good.

My family and I were in Etobicoke for a week and we were so happy to have found Lezzet! The staff were friendly and helpful and the shawarma was off the charts delicious. Say yes to the pickled turnip—it’s phenomenal! The shawarma was so good that we actually ordered takeaway twice during our stay. Is a 10-hour drive too far away for delivery??? Thank you!!

Another great option for shawarma in the neighborhood. Found this place because of the number high reviews. When we got here the line was already outside. After we finished our meal, the line was still all the way to outside of the restaurant. I could taste that they really make everything fresh from the quality of the food and ingredients that they use. If you love spicy, their hot sauce is not spicy, so I would probably ask for extra and add jalapeno peppers too. Lastly, what makes people come back would probably due to the service as well. Though they're swamped with long queues, they all maintain composure and remain calm addressing everyone with greetings and accommodating their order patiently. They offered us to try the mango pickle and gave us baklava to try 🙏 Are there better tasting shawarma out there? Of course! And we have few in mind. But 5 stars don't only come from the food alone...it's the overall experience. No wonder the long lines 😊

This place has quickly become my second favourite place to eat at. The guys that work here are so nice and the food is always amazing. Their quality control is admirable and the food is so flavourful and always so fresh. We usually order a chicken shawerma sandwich and a plate. I love that they have fresh vegetable options for my sandwich and that their plates are customizable to meet our dietary needs. Lezzet has become a staple for my husband and I, as well as a very frequent craving!
