I liked this place very much, the food is excellent, the staff are so friendly. Excellent Hummus, Kafta, falafel and french fries. Very good Kebbi and Tabbouli It will nshalla be my best middle eastern restaurant here in Mississauga

It was very pleasant first visit to this authentic Lebanese restaurant. The ambiance is decent with ethnic decoration while enough space to accommodate 50+ guests. The staff was very friendly, efficient, smiling and courteous. They helped to even suggest dishes being vegetarian. Chef Bassam and server Georgina were very kind, always smiling and they made us feel at home due to their warm attitude. This restaurant donates all gratuity to good cause life cancer treatment. The food was delicious and enough quantity at reasonable price. I highly recommend to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at this place

Have not been here prior to covid and was sad to hear their famous buffet was no longer available. However the owner was so accommodating and allowed my friend and I to choose an array of small dishes that made up a mini buffet. The service here is always fantastic and Violina is one of the many wonderful people who work here. The dishes were all superb and delicious and we even had to take home leftovers. Great to see the quality of food and service here is still of the highest quality and never disappoints. Thank you to all the staff!

Visited this restaurant for brunch, Was warmly greeted by Sultan, well groomed and politely spoken young fellow. We got a glimpse of the opulent Lebanese cuisine that reminded us of our visit to the middle East. Food was excellent, well prepared finely spiced and fresh as can be. I definitely recommend the falafel which was much better than the ones I've had anywhere else. The coffee was very good as were the dinner plates and the dessert. Everything's made in-house so you're guaranteed the freshest food!! I highly recommend this establishment for a family meal or otherwise. Ask for Sultan for the added hospitality!! Well done Tarboosh, keep up your quarter century and more of excellent dining experience!!

The food is awesome. The lentil soup is delicious, the staff are super friendly. I had beef shawarma it was a little bit dry but understandable. Great food and reasonnable price.

Amazing service great food and good prices Georgina and Violina are awesome, they r so accommodating tho they were ready to close but they didn't turned us out and still welcomed us in prepared some food from scratch just so they can accommodate my food allergy..! Fantastic, can’t wait to return! Falafels are soft, flakey and one of the best around. Chicken shawarma was big tasty prices, hummus freak, everything great!

The chicken shawarma is fantastic and I love the garlic sauce. It is very freshly prepared and the fattoush salad was also excellent. The falafel is so tasty as well. Their pita bread that comes on the side could use an upgrade as it gets stale about 5 min after they bring it to the table. A small note to the owners: We’ve been here several times and always find the dining room to be too cold. If you could turn on the heat it would make the dine in experience more enjoyable. Last time we were there everyone was wearing their jackets while dining.

I've been a customer here for around 25 years. Often imitated but never duplicated. Try their chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches with a little daub of hot sauce. Friendly staff. Consistent quality. Fresh ingredients. A true Mississauga gem!

Love this place!!!!!!!! I live over an hour away from this restaurant and I don’t care, I will drive any distance to have their food!!! It is amazing! Top quality, great flavour, fresh and consistent!! Every time I’m just as happy and doing my food happy dance… and there is a young girl who works there that is a sweetheart!!! She always greats you with a smile . I order the kafta sandwich with everything on it and hot sauce along with soo many sides. YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!!!!

Visited here a few times. Food was good, except for the last visit - the 'baby lamb' was not cooked well. They offered to bring another one, but I refused. They did deduct that item from total price. So 3 stars from me - like I said, the other times the food was good.

I had the best experience at this restaurant. We had a bday dinner to organize takeout. The ladies at the front were very helpful understanding the sizes of each dish. They explained how the dishes were cooked too to make sure I knew what I was getting. The owner was also there and helped me get all the meals selecting foods that fit within our family totally amount. We picked it up on time, they added two extra salads for us, lots of dressings, and the meals were delicious. The meat was fresh, the dips were super yummy. The garlic dip was a dream so so good. Rice lentils too. No one was even talking at our dinner cause everyone was eating and enjoying the food so much. Thank-you Tarboosh for making my bday family dinner possible and special. One of my favourite restaurants ever. Cute local spot run by amazing people. This is a rare spot where the takeout is as good as when you sit and eat in the restaurant. Food quality is 10/10. Our family has been going here for years and their quality has never gone down. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I have been coming here since 1996. When I first moved to Canada as a child in the 90s, Mississauga had 2 halal restaurants... This was one of them. The reason I still go there is the quality has not changed and that is soooo rare. They are spot on with flavor and style. I'm so happy they have not sold out to local trends. (You cannot call yourself a shawarma spot if you are offering cucumbers and banana peppers to be put in your foot long Shawarma. Sorry not sorry.) I recommend and attest they have the best (authentic) beef shawarma plate to date in my opinion. And the chicken is good too. (My 6 year old son said so) But the stand out from any other restaurant I've had in the gta... Is the beef. Juicy and cooked to perfection always. Never once has it been stuffed with extra fat or lamb mix. The tahini (sesame seed sauce) and thoum (garlic sauce) is perfect. They're hummus is perfect. Tabouli... Perfect. Protions are fair and filling. Never ones have I felt still hungry after a meal.... Like some other shawarma spots (Villa Medina). If you are from the Middle East or grow up there... The food feels like home. Thanks to the family owners. Life long customer here. Long over due thank you review. I like that the restaurant is clean and has stayed simple with its furnishing. It's not over the top contemporary or super fancy. It's a proper mom and pop spot that provides true authentic comfort food for the Middle Eastern pallet. I Love this place, I highly recommend it and support it. Open since 89. yep! Worth every dollar and it is not overpriced. 5 stars. Salam. Amazing falafel. They are fluffy and fresh. I’ve never had food/service like this. My dad has been coming here for 20 years and this was my first time. I loved it 🥰

This is our go to restaurant..we usually visit here for Falafal wrap..we love the taste and quantity. The chef is so kind and friendly..we have received freshly fried Falafal on the house many times..highly recommend

Tarboosh is the best around and has been the best around for years. Usually, I don’t write reviews but I felt Tarboosh deserves it. I have been visiting for more than a decade!! Their food is always top quality and the ownership is top-class! They ensure the staff is on their A-Game and work hard on each and every customer. The meat quality is second to none. The beef shawarma is exquisite. Extremely juicy, amazing meat, fresh ingredients and love from the chef. I would recommend this restaurant to any and all food enthusiasts. It is affordable and enjoyable. I encourage everyone to try Tarboosh.

The Tarboosh Combo was delicious, great price for the portion offered. I loved the tabbouleh and Falafel but the chicken shawarma was a bit dry and lacked some flavour. Would come back again to try the beef shawarma though! Great service, my food was ready within 10 minutes and the staff were very welcoming.

The hummus is absolutely amazing. Tried the other dishes and was neither impressed nor disappointed. I travel to Etobicoke from Milton for the hummus though! Run by very nice group of ladies :) I would never ever be around Etobicoke and not pass by to grab a hummus plate to go.

Little hole in the wall hidden gem family run business. Supposedly been here for years and I never tried it till now. Beef shawarma was bomb! I loved that it wasn't just filled with sauces for its flavour and just mush. Simple and flavourful. Their hot sauce is really nice too!

We first went to this restaurant when they first opened over 30 years ago. Continue to get food from there, including this evening! By far the best M.E Restaurant. Very predictable, great food and service in this family owned restaurant. Highly recommended.

Very authentic taste! Great service, quality, atmosphere... and prices as well. The only complaint I have is the portion size. The lentil soup was small and the shawarma plate barely had any chicken. It had more rice and fries than the actual chicken. That's why 4 stara from me. Please give more food or increase the price by a few dollars but give more quantity ✌other then that very good place to bring your family.

today I ordered takeout for 3 shishtawook wraps and 2 lentil soups and everything was so amazing I loved the food and it’s so flavourful it reminds me of my parents cooking which I adore. And the one thing I absolutely loved is the service. It’s so outstanding and I love the way the older man gives his workers words of encouragement to keep them going. And the lady that was making my sandwiches was so sweet and kind and she made a perfect sandwich.This place is like no other!!! We’ve also ordered catering before from them and their lamb was sooooo tender and juicy. I would highly recommend this place for all your catering needs and your new takeout spot! This place breaks the scale for a rating it’s that good.!!! And also the prices are like no other it’s amazing.
